Color Lsr printer MFP M277dw

Went thru steprs to install but I can't print or scan. When I try printing it says printing document but nothing happens. When I push the scan button on printer it says it's not set up.

Hi , I read your post and see that you aren't able to print or scan. I will certainly do my best to help you. I have provided some steps to try to see if we can resolve this issue. Try and print a hardware self test on the printer to find out if it is a hardware or software issue.Go to Setup, Reports, Configuration Report. If the printer is networked, check the IPv4 address and try to access the printer's Embedded Web Server, by typing in the IPv4 address into your web browser's address bar. (Safari)Did it load the webpage? Repair the Disk Permissions on the Mac:Close all applications.On the Apple menu bar, click Go, click Applications and then click Utilities.Double-click Disk Utility.Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left.Click Verify and then Repair Disk Permissions. Restart the computer.. Reset the Printing System: Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol. Click the Apple icon and then click System Preferences.Click Printers & Scanners.Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left white side panel, then click Reset printing system.Click OK to confirm the reset.Type the correct Name and Password.Click OK to reset the printing system.Then click the + sign to add the driver, highlight the printer. Then click on the Add button. How is the printer connected?   • HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw Installation Issue

    Hi, I purchased a new HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw yesterday, and is having difficult time installing the driver. I tried downloading it online and using the CD that came with it. I have also tried to install in two different computers, one is a desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium, the other is a notebook with Windows 8.1.  In all instances, it stops at "preparing for installation" stage with an error message that reads "A probelm occured while preparing to install software to your system. Please restart your computer, and run this installation again. If the problem persists, please check the product support web site for your product". I tried to restart the computers many times, and I have also tried to change windows "User Account Control Setting" to the least sensitive level, but still to no avail. I need help! Thanks,lateblue

  • Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176n installed but not printing

    Hello Everyone,
    I have problem with my printer Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176n.
    at thebegining i try to install it buteverytime i run the installer it give me HP Installer error, so i installed the Microsoft Net Framework 3.5 and run the install and it was working perfict, i install the driver on USB cable and after it show me successfull and print test page and finish, so i click print test page and in printer and fax the printer M176n Show 1 printing job and then 0 but no print came out i try again same, i remove the cable and plug it again the printer is responding perfictly but still not printing i check the scanner and its working fine but only the printing is not, so i try to install it through network and it was sccessfully installed with IP but when i print, still the same 1 printing Job but nothing came out of the printer when it came 0 printing job.
    Please help......
    - Windows is windows XP 32bit
    - Printer name   Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176n PCLms

    I did try to use Scan Doctor, the printer didnt print at the first check but when it ask forenternal print test page it printed then it ask me toif it print of not and i click yes it print in enternal print so it ask me to remove and reinstall so i did 2 to 3 times and still same will  not print but when run Scan doctor it will print on enternal print .....

    Welcome to the HP forum. 
    I understand you have done quite a lot to resolve your M176n and its connection to the ePrint service. 
    I would like to help you with this issue. 
    If the printer is not printing the web services info sheet, or allowing you to add it to HP Connected, I
    would set a manual DNS. 
    I wont go into great detail about setting this up. From your post, I feel you know your way around the printer and your network. If I am mistaken, let me know. I will go into detail. 
    The DNS to try is:
    Primary: 209.244.0.3
    Secondary: 209.244.0.4
    Set the DNS then try printing the web services info page again.

    Same thing for iPhone 5S iOS 8.2.
    Both iPhone and printer on the same wifi network.
    I tried printing from different applications. AirPrint does not work.
    I tried turning off and back on, reset, printing from different applications, ...
    iPhone 6 prints through HP Wireless Direct printing.
    Sony laptop works via wifi.

  • HP Color laserJet CM1015 MFP printing problem

    Till now my HP Color laserJet CM1015 MFP printer was working perfectly and suddenly prints miss aligned colors. Each color prints a little bit below another. I uninstalled printer’s software and reinstalled again but it didn’t help. There is no error messages. Printer’s alignment didn’t help either. Can anyone help me with this problem?

    Yes I solved the problem. I had to clean the registry of all information regarding this printer. During the installation I noticed interesting thing.     HP says that the drivers for your all in one print/scanner are downloadable from apple. For the scanner to use preview. image capture or the scan icon from the print driver queue.  I don't know how old your HP is, but I know that the newer Os from apple don't support a lot of older printers. You might be able find a third party driver that could work.

    Your HP Color Laserjet CM1015 MFP is a commercial product. I will suggest posting and looking in the forum for HP Business Support for a better chance at finding a prompt solution.

  • Color LaserJet CM1015 mfp photo printing problem

    I am running a Color LaserJet CM1015 mfp utilizing only HP print cartridges and HP Color Laser Photo Paper, glossy, yet I cannot seem to get a decent photo to print.  There is always a black smear or two on the front of the printed page.  It prints black and white and color just fine on plain paper but I cannot get a decent print on glossy.  This has happened since day one so I don't think it's a dirty print roller,,etc. issue.

  • Printing to a HP Color Laserjet CM4540 MFP from new iPad.

    I am trying to print from my new iPad to my HP Color Laserjet CM4540 MFP.
    When I try to print the iPad gives me the option to choose my printer. It currently only recognizes one printer- not the CM4540. It recognized the other printer without any problems or setup by myself.
    I'm assuming b/c the CM4540 is not supported to print from the iPad this is why I'm having trouble.
    Can someone confirm my assumption please? Or- let me know how to connect to the CM4540 to print?

    Hi , I found something written by  that you may find helpful regarding the printer going into cool down mode: I have provided a document with Resolving Control Panel Messages. Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation. Update the printer's firmware. HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw Drivers. Where is the printer located? (enclosed shelf, desk)How many pages are you printing when you get this message?What is the paper's weight and what kind of paper are you using?  If the issue persists, please post back with the answer to the above questions.  Thanks.

    In order to AirPrint from your iPad/iPhone, here's all you need to do:
    1. Make sure the printer and iPad/iPhone are connected to the same local network.
    2. Open something you want to print (on the iPad/iPhone).
    3. On the iPad/iPhone, tap the "Action" button (arrow curving out of a box).
    4. Tap "Print".
    If you have any issues with printing, below are some steps that should help you out!
    1. Power off the printer.
    2. Completely power off the iOS devices (hold the Sleep and Home buttons simultaneously until a message appears asking you to "Slide to power off". Slide across that bar, and it should completely power off).
    3. Power the printer back on.
    4. Power the iOS devices back on.
    5. Try to print again.

    6. Power cycle your router (usually done by unplugging the router’s power cord, waiting 20 seconds, and plugging it back in).

    Afternoon , I found some information about the cool-down mode on your Laserjet Pro MFP M177fw. The product is too hot to continue printing at normal speed.
    The product will pause longer between printed pages until it cools down.
    Overheating occurs when the product lacks air ventilation or when it prints continuously for a long period of time. To prevent overheating, place the product in a well-ventilated area, and divide very large print jobs into smaller print jobs.Other than using it in a well ventilated room, you could see if there are any firmware updates available. You can click on this link to Getting Printer Updates for HP LaserJet Pro. If the issue continues, I would Contact HP Support for further assistance.
