Color of disabled textfiled text

Hi,
This is probably a simple one but I cant find an answer anyhwere. How do you change the color of the text in a disabled textfield from thet gray colour.

Disable item text label

I have a text item on a form, the item text's label is from the
Prompt property. How can I disable (or gray out) the text label
when disabling the text item using:
set_item_property(item_id, enabled, property_false);

I created a Visual Attribute item (called Prompt_disab_attr)
with Visual Attribute Type = Prompt and Prompt Foreground Color
= gray52.
The foreground color is not perfect yet, I need to play with the
color.

Color of Disabled field

Whenever i disable the field its color fades. How can i select the dark color for disbaled field?

You shouldn't be using the disabled field attribute for fields that are display-only.
We use a different background color for updateable items (white), while display-only fields usually get the same background color as the canvas, which is always a light color, so the black text shows just fine.
And we allow users to click into display-only fields, so our form will highlight the background (yellow), in case they want to bring attention to the field, say while they are discussing the screen with someone.
We only use the disabled property in rare occasions, when a field is truly disabled, indicating some process is not available.

How can I change the color of the highlighted text when using the FIND function in Terminal?

When searching for text in the Terminal's buffer, the matched text is highlighted using a color which seems to be computed from the background's color. I'm using a black backgroud and the finder's highlighter is grey. How can I change this? I'd like to specify the foreground and background colors of the matching text. I couldn't find an appropriate setting in the terminal's settings, nor in the default settings using the command "defaults".

In my .bashrc file, I have enabled a couple of grep environment variables.

Validation on Disabled input text

it seems <af:validateRegExp cannot work inside a <af:inputText disabled='true'>, is there any easy way to have this client side validation on a disabled input text in ADF?

I am wondering if you could create a transient attribute in the EO that displays the data from the attribute. The "real" attribute would not be disabled, and would then validate.
You then display the transient attribute on the form, and it would be non-update-able since it is transient.
You could then place entity level validation on the entity (instead of on the attribute) since it is based on a second value in your form. Haven't tested it, but it would seem to be a solution.

How do I change the color of all the text in a PDF?

Hi.
I have a large PDF, over 1000 pages. Some of the text is highlighted which makes it difficult to see on my preferred document background. In Acrobat XI how do I change the color of all the text in the document back to black please? Although solutions using any other software will be much appreciated too.
I searched this forum already, and the same question was asked back in 2007 when it appears the only solution was to use an expensive third party plugin.

I know of no new solutions since 2007 except the ones you found.
You could use the Accessibility Preferences > Change Document Colors to choose a text color. However, this is an individual preference and cannot be set as a default for others opening the document.

Is it possible to do a GLOBAL color change for both text and graphics in ACrobat XI?

I used to do this using the Pitstop Pro plugin but now Pitstop is almost $900 and this is the only thing that I would use it for, not worth the investment
I can change text color by selecting individual text items, but I want to change all of the red text into white text
I also need to change all of the red graphics into white graphics and I can't figure out how to do that either
I have a trial version of XI on a Mac and will buy it if it can do what I am trying to do, i.e. global color changes to both text and graphics

I have version 6, but it is way out of date, doesn't work on my current system, I downloaded a trial version of the new one, version 12 I think, now I have to decide if I can afford to buy it, it is not cheap!

How do I change color of future typed text in a copied document? Thanks. My son is doing online home schooling this year and has Study Sheets that he types in his answers. Currently, he highlights his typed text then chooses the color. Is it possible to auto-format this somehow? Thanks!

Pages relies a lot on Styles. Either you can create a paragraph style with a green text colour or just create a character style with a text colour. Here is an image from a document with several character styles in colour.
In the second image I have instead created a Paragraph style with green text colour. This is the only way you can get a template to remember a change of colour as the default is alway black. To create the styles you click on the small triangle to the left of None (for character style) or Body (paragraph style) and choose Redefine style from selection. Save as Template.

The main title text for the tap your currently on shows up centered one line above the tab row. The default is black text, with a gray drop shadow, but that doesn't work with dark background themes/personas. How do I go about changing that text color so that its visible on a dark background. I've tried changing font stylings in general for the browser, and I've tried changing the color values in the about:config for the persona, but none of that works. Disable Full Text Search in Records Management

Hi Everyone,
This is Shiva, we implemented SAP Records management & i am came in middle of this project. Right now client want to do some customizations in Records.
Actually i need to disable Full Text Search under Records. Under Cross Query i disabled the Full text by the following process
(Two sample element types are delivered with the service provider
SRM_SP_QUERY:
SRM_SPS_QUERY
Search for records, documents, cases, record models and file plans
SRM_SPS_QUERY_REC_DOC)
Under(SPRO) Cross SP search based on Property Unification; you can able to disable the FullText search field(this will be effects only for Cross Query), but under Records, when you right click there will be one option called FIND in which i am unable to disable the FULL TEXT search.
I used DMWB T-code under LOIO, i search for Standard/free/instance attributes, but i didn't find any Full Text Search Field in that one.
Can anyone please help me in this. I really appreciate your inputs & help.

Dear Shiva,
Full text search needs to be deactivated at content model level for attributes. You will find a document class in the element type of the record. In transaction DMWB, you will find LOIO & PHIO classes for the document class. For each attribute, you will find a checkbox "index-relevant" which needs to be unticked if you dont want to use TREX. For deactivating full-text search for which a field is given in the FIND popup, TREX needs to be deactivated. There is no option to deactivate just for a record element type in RM. Unfortunately, the field itself cannot be hidden. This is programmed in the logic.
