Color of Hyperlinks

I do not want the color of the hyperlinks to change. Right now they react like normal web page and change from blue to red once the link has been used.
How can I set the color to always be one color, and not change if the user clicks on the link?

Hi Jordan,
I had tried this before my post, and it works for me very well. I am using Oracle Reports 10g. When I simply create a hyperlink on the EMPNO column for say http://www.oracle.com and generate an HTML output file, clicking on any one EMPNO changes all the links to red, because the Oracle website has been visited once.
However, in the same report (RDF), if I go to Paper Layout, and click on the text color icon to change the color of EMPNO column to blue, then in the output HTML file - the EMPNO link always remains blue, even after you have clicked EMPNO to visit the website.

  • Color of Hyperlink Changes When I Convert a Document Created in Pages to a PDF

    I am currently using Pages 09 to design an eBook.  When I convert my Pages document to a PDF some of the hyperlinks change colors from medium to dark blue.  I am currenlty using the latest version of Adobe Reader (9.46).  I have been to Apple store to try and address this issue, but they can not correct it.  If I open the document in Preview or Safari, it works fine.  There is only a problem when I open the document in Adobe Reader.  I would greatly appreciate your help in getting this fixed.  Does anyone know what the problem is here and how to fix it?  Thanks in advance for your help!

  • How do I change color of hyperlink search results in WebHelp Pro?

    I'm trying to figure out how to change the color of search result hyperlinks when using WebHelp Pro in RH8. The links currently are vibrant blue and purple after clicked on. I can't find anywhere in the style sheet or in the skin editor options to define this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    In your .css file, use something like the following; the "A:" would be your default link, and the "A.topic:" would be a different class of link (we use it for some in-topic navigation links). Note that the order in which the qualifiers appear is important. Follow the LoVeHate method (Link, Visited, Hover).
    Feel free to try it and use your own combinations (you might not want the expanded letter-spacing, for example). We also reversed the underline format from the default html (none for link and visited, underline for hover).
    A:link,
    A:visited {
    color: #0000CD;
    letter-spacing: 0.25pt;
    text-decoration: none;
    A:hover {
    color: #000080;
    letter-spacing: 0.25pt;
    text-decoration: underline;
    You would add the class=topic qualifier to your links for this class of link (a class=topic href="targettopic.htm")
    A.topic:link,
    A.topic:visited {
    color: #0000CD;
    font-size: 8pt;
    font-weight: normal;
    margin-left: 10px;
    margin-top: 0pt;
    margin-bottom: 0pt;
    letter-spacing: 0.25pt;
    text-decoration: none;
    A.topic:hover {
    color: #000080;
    font-size: 8pt;
    font-weight: normal;
    letter-spacing: 0.25pt;
    margin-top: 0pt;
    margin-bottom: 0pt;
    margin-left: 10px;
    text-decoration: underline;
    Good luck,

  • Text color for hyperlinks

    hey all,
    i imported a document from wordwith no hyperlinks, opting to put them in the doc while Indesign,  anything that is to be hyperlinked or cross-referenced was placed in indesign using  colored letters as oppose to the normal black.  the letters are  appearing as i want them  in Indesign, but when i export the doc, my hyperlinks and cross references have "hyperlink" blue lettering.  i've tried re-highlighting the hyperlink letters by selecting a color from the pallet and applying it that way, but it is not working....any thoughts or direction would be appreciated.
    regards

    i think you are correct.  i exported the doc as a pdf and the color is fine.
    when i export as an epub,  one reader turns the links electric blue, and another won't ever recognize the links so all text is black,.. ah this slippery slope of electronic publishing...fun yes but often a royal pain, and i'm not talkng about the tv show when i say that.  the upside is that a as person new to Indesign, i got my document loaded, linked and edited  and ready for export in surprisingly short order and it looks amazingly good at that...
    thanks for your assistance.. i appreciate you taking the time out to answer my questions!
    regards.

  • Change color of hyperlinks

    Hi! I am new to iWeb. I have had no problems with creating hyperlinks, but after they have been used they turn to a pale color which is hard to read wth my background. Is there a way that I can specify the color that the links will change to after they have been used? Many thanks!

    hi anthony.
    it works your way, but only for one link.
    it doesnt work, if i wish to turn only parts of the text in hyperlinks (if i need to have several links in one text box).
    u can have a look here: http://www.hiroi.at/hiroi%20michiru%20ripplinger%20trio/links.html
    i couldn't change the color into black (it turns automatically into grey), so i had to "lighten" the picture to make my links visible.
    is that a bug in iweb?
    best,

  • Change Color of Hyperlink

    Any one knows how to change the color of a hyperlink in iWeb?
    Just changing the color of the Fond does not work...

    This is currently not possible through iWeb directly. But I believe that Cyclosaurus has a script or some pointers on doing just that. It requires some mucking around in the published html code.

    You will need to define the colors, etc, in an HTML document for the signature, otherwise things like link colors will be whatever the receiver's defaults are.

  • How  to change the Color for hyperlinks Xcode

    I ned help for that, i am a new and om woking to build apps

    Hi,
    you can use an AttributeSet to apply the foreground color. Let's say, doc is a HTMLDocument, then SimpleAttributeSet set = new SimpleAttributeSet();
    doc.getStyleSheet().addCSSAttribute(set, CSS.Attribute.COLOR, "#0D0D0D"); would apply a color to a given AttributeSet. The AttributeSet with your color then can be applied to a selected range of text in a JEditorPane by   /**
       * set the attributes for a given editor. If a range of
       * text is selected, the attributes are applied to the selection.
       * If nothing is selected, the input attributes of the given
       * editor are set thus applying the given attributes to future
       * inputs.
       * @param editor  the editor pane to apply the attributes to
       * @param a  the set of attributes to apply
      public void applyAttributes(JEditorPane editor, AttributeSet a) {
        ((HTMLDocument) editor.getDocument()).getStyleSheet().addCSSAttribute(set, CSS.Attribute.COLOR, "#0D0D0D");
        editor.requestFocus();
        int start = editor.getSelectionStart();
        int end = editor.getSelectionEnd();
        if(end != start) {
          doc.setCharacterAttributes(start, end - start, a, false);
        else {
          MutableAttributeSet inputAttributes =
            ((SHTMLEditorKit) editor.getEditorKit()).getInputAttributes();
          inputAttributes.addAttributes(a);

  • Setting Color to hyperlinks

    Hi
    How to set color, underline, blinking to hyper links
    thanks
    ~noc

    You can create a non-editable text item with font colour blue (or whatever your like),
    set the font style : Underline (I have tried this property on 9i & 10g, it works in 10g, not in 9i)
    create a when-mouse-click trigger on this text item, and in this trigger use WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT
    For blinking you can use a timer and WHEN-TIMER-EXPIRED trigger at form level
    (but using a timer for making item values blink is not a good option, because they consume resources)
    (I think all of this can be done with PJCs, but I dont know much about them)

  • Set Default Hyperlink Color

    How can I set a different default color for hyperlinks in Pages?
    My company's style sheet dictates a particular color for hyperlinks; I'd like to be able to set that once rather than having to manually set the color each time.

    Kuro Rai wrote:
    I know for a fact that there is a way to change the default colour of a hyperlink.
    It doesn't work for me. I don't see a hyperlink style already set up, and while I can create one, it isn't used by default.
    I produce a weekly newsletter that is mostly distributed on paper, and so printed in black and white. I also want to get rid of underlining. And every time, I add an email address or a URL I've got to manually select it, set the color to black and turn off underlining. The style really should be user controllable.

  • Changing the color of visited hyperlinks

    Been trying out Keynote for almost a month, and I think I'm in love. The one thing I can't seem to figure out, however, is whether or not it's possible to change to color of hyperlinks that have been visited. It's a glaring problem with a presentation I created of a Jeopardy-esque gameboard--you can't tell which categories have been visited and which haven't.
    Any suggestions other than than the typical "use PowerPoint" responses I've gotten on other boards would be tremendously appreciated.
    Thank you!

    If you want to ensure that Apple gets your feedback, I'd suggest letting them know at the Keynote feedback page, as it is by no means assured that the Keynote development team reads this forum.
    It would indeed be extremely handy if Keynote would somehow preserve state information during a presentation. We finally got animation paths in KN4 -- perhaps this feature will make its way into KN5.

  • Can't change the color of my hyperlinks

    I know this is probably a dumb question with an easy answer, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what it is. I am trying to change the color of my hyperlinks which default to white. I have tried clicking on the text inspector both with the hyperlink selected and without. I can't find any place where it allows me to change the color of hyperlinks. Any suggestions to a seemingly easy problem?

    select the hyperlink and go to the hyperlink button in the inspector (circular arrow), and both check the box 'enable as a hyperlink', choose what to link to, then click the Format tab and change the colors.
