Color palette does not come up - instead eyedropper?

So this morning photoshop cs4 decided to do something new and completely unexpected. This is what happens:
1. I click "Set foreground colour" - normally a window pops up that allows me to select the foreground colour, except now it goes to the eyedropper tool and then the entire interface stops responding.
2. I can't click any of the toolbar icons (nothing responds) and going to the menu only reveals a small subset of menu options while everything else is grayed out.
3. If I hit apple-enter... it takes me out of the eyedropper tool but still does not allow me to change the foreground colour.
Is there some shortcut I hit by accident that perhaps has enabled this bizarre behaviour?

I suppose Your screen-settings may have changed so actually the Color Picker may be raised but outside the visible area (the described behaviour sounds like normal Color Picker-behaviour minus the display).
Have You tried setting some other Workspace (Window – Workspace) or setting Your monitor resolution to other values (System Preferences – Displays), but be warned that this would probably mess up Your Panel positions for all open Applications?
Other than that as with all unexplainable Photoshop-problems You might try trashing the prefs (after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences You’ve changed) by pressing command-alt-shift on starting the program.

The simple fact that it shows up in iTunes Search means it is in the iTune library.
It is a bug where some imports do not show up in the iTunes library (but they usually show up in Recently Imported playlist) until a restart of iTunes, which usually fixes it.

Host Command does not come back

I have treid to export schema by pressing a button, (form designed in Form10gR2 and excute via Application Server R2. )
For this I have applied one by one these syntaxes
1) host ( 'cmd /C start "" "'|| exp USERID=SYSTEM/MANAGER@ora11 OWNER=scott,hr FILE=E:\JAN10.DMP');
2) host ( 'cmd /C exp USERID=SYSTEM/MANAGER@ora11 OWNER=scott,hr FILE=E:\JAN10.DMP');
3) client_host('exp USERID=SYSTEM/MANAGER@ora11 OWNER=scott,hr FILE=E:\JAN10.DMP');
4) WEBUTIL_HOST.NONBLOCKING('exp USERID=SYSTEM/MANAGER@ora11 OWNER=scott,hr FILE=E:\JAN10.DMP');
When my client/ user executes the command, session goes hang and application screen does not come back. If I execute the exp command directly from the Application Server Command Prompt then exp works.
Please help me, what is the syntax to get the dump wihtout hanging the session.
Database 11g Linux
Application Server 10R2 Window2003.
Developer 10gR2.
Client Windows , Explorer, FireFox etc.

Hi Priya,
It is always a better practice to call a batch file using the host command instead of hardcoding the command inside form. Which would help you to modify the batch file for any changes, without re-compiling the forms.
In this case, create a batch script, which would set the ORACLE_HOME etc (to make sure the exp command is recognized, you need to add the DB ORACLE_HOME/bin to the PATH), and then call the command to export. You can also parameterize the batch script and pass the parameters from form, separated by space.

My Iphone 4 does not come with a SOFTWARE UPDATE option.

My partner bought my iphone 4 version 4.2 about two years ago from a well known store. He got himself one at the same time but i cannot update mine because it does not come with an option in settings, general that allows me to update it. All of my apps are useless as they need at least iSO5 to run. I cannot check my bank accounts or anything. I have rung and spoke to apple many of times and followed all the steps to try and update. As this is not my fault and the iphone had not been loaded with the correct software there should be something APPLE could do free of charge!!!! I really need help as i cannot afford a replacement or want one. I just dont know what to do anymore!!

What model iPad do you have? If it's an iPad 1, the battery may have expired and needs replacement.

Report does not come up when called from Forms

I have installed Oracle 9i database and dveloper suit on my pc. When I run reports from forms, the report does not come up. I have Adobe Acrobat reader 6. The report does get created, I can see it in the cache directory.
It created an error file, I am posting the begining of this file here.

Looks like this is not a Forms side problem or even a Reports Servlet problem
Some guesses.
From the exception
at oracle.reports.engine.EngineImpl.CGetEnv(Native Method)
at oracle.reports.engine.EngineImpl.getEnvs(EngineImpl.java:453)
it looks like engine crashing. Did you see the server GUI up and running ? Server might not have started
Give
rwserver server=<server_name> in command line.
The server GUI should come up and show "ready "
You have multiple Oracle Homes on the same machine. So this could be a PATH problem.
1) Go to ControlPanel -> System - Advanced - Env variables - System Variables
Copy the IDS specific PATH to clipboard
Go to iDS_HOME\bin\ and open a command window. Set only the above PATH here. Start a standalone server
rwserver server=<server_name>
and try
(If this works you could write a batch file later)
2) For trouble shooting purposes use a different server name to start the standalone server.
3) Also look in your registry
HKLM\Software\Oracle\Home<x>\
Here please see whether you have any "very long" environment variable (say more than 256 chars or 512 chars).
This is just a guess.
4) To confirm this is not a Reports servlet problem
give
rwclient report=<report_name> + ..... <server=server_name>
If you get same error, then it is not a servlet problem. It could be that Reports server is crashing

The wish list only works on apps you have to pay for. To get it tap the icon of the app you want to save. After it opens at the upper right corner is a box with a arrow. Tap that then tap add to wish list list in the box that opens.

It's difficult to do more than guess when you don't say what version of OS X or Pages you're running, but if you're on the latest, have you tried the Share menu -> Send via Mail command?

We are talking about the Mail app, right? In the Mail menubar, click on Window and then Previous Recipients:
That eliminates the previous recipients. If you are talking about the suggestions because there are 10 people with the name 'Steve' in your Contacts, then I do not know how to eliminate those unless you change the name slightly or wait until you type the last name or some other differentiator.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

When I hook my iphone 4 up to itunes, it does not show up on the left. It will not sync, and the lightning bolt charging indicator on the phone does not come on although it appears to be charging over time because the battery level has increasd.

But they will be wondering about the reference to hacking and you feeling bad about getting something for free.
Best step in my view is to make sure you don't get similarly involved in future. You must know roughly what you were doing. Then writie it off to a not to be repeated experience.
