Color Scheme Change for Webbrowser (Opera) hard to see.

Using kde 4.5.
Plumbum Tones color scheme.
Hard to see the adress bar in Opera, google search bar, and hard to see the light grey that I am currently typing in. Is there a way to change the color scheme only for opera, the color scheme looks good on everything else (pidgin, dolphin).

Yup.  That is about all one can do.

Is there a way to change the color scheme of the UI Shell template?, perhaps use a different style sheet to stay consistent with customer's corporate color scheme. How can we do this in the UI shell template?

    hi snandyal,
The answer is for sure -Oracle ADF skinning . The following post demonstrated ADF skinning with the UI Shell template: http://soadev.blogspot.com/2010/03/adf-faces-rc-grab-that-adf-skins-in-5.html

  • Color scheme changed on my ipod touch how do i change it back to normal?

I was listening to my ipod touch, when i went to unlock my ipod the color scheme (color effect) changed (by itself), Now instead of being the normal color it has like a multicolor color effect. Someone PLEASE HELP!!!

Unfortunately, if I told you, I'd be giving a hint of how to allow someone to illegally copy music from someone else's iPod to their machine.  There is a reason why it is blocked.   And no, you don't have to erase the iPod. I would request the techs give you help in doing that.  If they don't, ask other techs.

  • ALTERNATE COLOR SCHEME TRICK FOR MACS

    Hey guys.
Just found a little built in "trick" that is kinda cool. Press Control, Option, Command and 8 at the same time on your keyboard. The color scheme of your monitor will go into negative color - all colors are reversed here - whites are now black, etc. The colors will stay in this mode until you press the buttons again. I've been told this works on all Macs but I cannot guarantee this. It does work on the G5 I'm currently using though. This may be old news to older Mac users, but I'm sure some newer Mac people including myself (until 10 minutes ago) did not or do not know about this. Try it out and let me know what you guys think.
    Cheers
    Andrew

    Templeton.
Thanks for the info. There's a few other interesting things under Universal Access as well. I would think the majority of newer Mac users have no idea about these things...Good to know.

  • ALTERNATE COLOR SCHEME TRICK FOR MAC'S

    Hey all.
Just want to share a quick little trick I just found on my computer...Press Control, Option, Command (Apple button) and 8 on your keyboard. This will switch the color scheme on your monitor to negative color - all colors are now reversed - whites are black, etc. The color will stay this way until you press the buttons again. I have been told that this works on all Macs but I can only say that I've tried it on the G5 I am currently using. This may be old news to most Mac people but newer users (including myself until recently) probably do not know about this. Try it out people. It's worth a look.
    Peace
    Andrew

Yeah, it works on all macs...
Another is if you press command, option, and hit the plus sign, you will zoom in on you're display, to zoom out, you hit command option minus... It's all built into OS X as universal access features

  • 2 Different Partition Map Scheme's for one external hard drive

Is it possible to have one external hard drive with 2 different Partition Map Scheme's?
One of them will be used to externally boot tiger on a powerpc, and the other for use on my macbook pro?

And this drive is currently not partitioned I take it ?
You need to make a backup of the data on the drive then partition it, the first partition must be set under Disc Utility / Partition / Options as Mac GUI Bootable so it installs the drivers, then install Tiger onto the first partition and move your current data back onto the second one.
You will then be able to Boot Tiger on the older PowerBook by holding down 'option' at start up, if you just have it connected to the MacBook Pro and start up normally then it will appear as two volumes on your Desktop, the Tiger Boot Volume and your Data Volume.

  • Link Color not changing for Visited Pages - How do I set the Color?

In earlier versions of Safari, the user could select the color used to display links that have already been visited. I can't find that option in Preferences anymore. Some visited links do show a different color, some don't. Is it just random? How do I set the color in Safari 4.0.4 and activate the behavior?

    HI,
I think you change visited pages link colors using Google preferences.

    Hi karmatson
There are a few different things may have been changed...???
Go to: System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing tab and (1) make sure that Display is set to Black on White then (2) set Enhance contrast to Normal.
Go to: System Preferences > Display > Color tab and select the iMac Calibrated (the factory default) Display Profile.

  • Is there a way to switch back to the old color scheme for the keypad? The new black-on-white color scheme is more difficult to see and use for the visually impaired.

Is there a way to switch back to the old color scheme for the keypad? After upgrading to ios 6, the keypad switched to a black-on-white color scheme.  I have a severe visual impairment and found the previous white-on-black color scheme much easier to see and use.
The inverted colors option doesn’t make things look all that better.    My dad, who does not have any serious vision problems, has put off upgrading his iphone because of the color scheme changes.

I have exactly the same concern. It seems it would be a simple fix for Apple to allow users to turn off the camera (and even the mic) while keeping FaceTime open -- especially now that it turns out FaceTime must remain open in order to send and receive iPhone calls on a Mac.
I like to think this new functionality of FaceTime will be baked into a future release of Yosemite, as the current setup has that not-quite-finished feel of a work in progress. In the meantime, there's nothing like a little piece of Post-It stuck over the camera to keep the NSA from watching your face as you type a post to the Apple Support Communities.

  • Changing Color Schemes

I have a set of animated backgrounds/lower thirds/overlays from Digial Juice that all need to have the color scheme changed to our business' color palette.  Of course, the folks at DJ said this was possible in Premiere, but weren't familiar with the process.  What is the process for changing the color scheme in Premiere Pro 5.5? (I also have Photoshop CS 5 Extended, but am unfamiliar with it, but if that would be more appropriate, please let me know what the process is.)
    Your help is much appreciated.

Doesn't Digital Juice give you the option of codec to render the animations to?  Mp4 seems like an odd intermediate codec for files that should have an alpha channel.  I could be mistaken, but I don't think alpha channels are supported in standard mp4.
I thought that those animation loops should be exported form The Juicer™ as uncompressed AVI or QT files with an alpha channel for transparency. An uncompressed file will be better for changing the color palette  with premiere's fx as well.
Solid colors will be easier to change with proc amp, color replace, fast CC, 3-way CC, tint, color balance RGB, RGB CC, etc.
Adjusting gradients may be more of a change with those tools.

  • Adobe Reader changes windows color scheme after launching

    Hi all,
We have been using heavily adobe reader. the problem we have encountered is that after launching adober reader on windows 7 pro, default color scheme changes and it is being displayed as if we are on safe mode.
We could not find a solution so far. Hope you would provide me some info in order to fix it.

Interesting! What was the color scheme prior to launch? Does this problem happen on every launch of Reader X? What if you restore the color scheme and re-launch Reader? If possible can you stick a screenshot of the issue you just described.

  • What is the best methodology to handle database schema changes after an application has been deployed?

    Hi,
VS2013, SQL Server 2012 Express LocalDB, EF 6.0, VB, desktop application with an end user database
What is a reliable method to follow when there is a schema change for an end user database used by a deployed application?  In other words, each end user has their own private data, but the database needs to be expanded for additional features, etc.
I list here the steps it seems I must consider.  If I've missed any, please also inform:
    (1) From the first time the application is installed, it should have already moved all downloaded database files to a separate known location, most likely some sub-folder in <user>\App Data.
    (2) When there's a schema change, the new database file(s) must also be moved into the location in item (1) above.
    (3) The application must check to see if the new database file(s) have been loaded, and if not, transfer the data from the old database file(s) to the new database file(s).
    (4) Then the application can operate using the new schema.
This may seem basic, but for those of us who haven't done it, it seems pretty complicated.  Item (3) seems to be the operative issue for database schema changes.  Existing user data needs to be preserved, but using the new schema.  I'd like
to understand the various ways it can be done, if there are specific tools created to handle this process, and which method is considered best practice.
    (1) Should we handle the transfer in a 'one-time use' application method, i.e. do it in application code.
    (2) Should we handle the transfer using some type of 'one-time use' SQL query.  If this is the best way, can you provide some guidance if there are different alternatives for how to perform this in SQL, and where to learn/see examples?
    (3) Some other method?
    Thanks.
    Best Regards,
    Alan

    Hi Uri,
Thank you kindly for your response.  Also thanks to Kalman Toth for showing the right forum for such questions.
To clarify the scenario, I did not mean to imply the end user 'owns' the schema.  I was trying to communicate that in my scenario, an end user will have loaded their own private data into the database file originally delivered with the application.
If the schema needs to be updated for new application features, the end user's data will of course need to be preserved during the application upgrade if that upgrade includes a database schema change.
Although I listed step 3 as transferring the data, I should have made more clear I was trying to express my limited understanding of how this process "might work", since at the present time I am not an expert with this.  I suspected my thinking
is limited and someone would correct me.
This is basically the reason for my post; I am hoping an expert can point me to what I need to learn about to handle database schema changes when application upgrades are deployed.  For example, if an SQL script needs to be created and deployed
then I need to learn how to do that.  What's the best practice, or most reliable/efficient way to make sure the end user's database is changed to the new schema after the upgraded application is deployed?  Correct me if I'm wrong on this,
but updating the end user database will have to be handled totally within the deployment tool or the upgraded application when it first starts up.
If it makes a difference, I'll be deploying application upgrades initially using Click Once from Visual Studio, and eventually I may also use Windows Installer or Wix.
    Again, thanks for your help.
    Best Regards,
    Alan

  • How can I automate the threshold for a moving object whose light intensity changes for each frame.

I'm using the PCI-1408 and I have this video where an object's shape and color intensity changes for each frame. I want to do a pixel count of that object verses the background (the background also changes color) for each frame. I'm guessing that I need an automatic threshold, but I really have no idea of how to implement this. Any ideas, anyone?

Hopefully there is a clear distinction between the background and the object.
You can use IMAQ AutoBThreshold to determine the threshold level for an image. You can select from a variety of methods for determining a binary threshold level. Route the "Threshold Data" output along with your image to IMAQ MultiThreshold, which will quickly apply the threshold to your image. Display the results using WindDraw and the Binary palette (from IMAQ GetPalette).
This should run close to real-time. Binary thresholding is a fairly fast operation. You will probably end up processing every other image, which is close enough for most projects.

  • Color Scheme Help!

Looking for color scheme suggestions for a web site that
deals with Historic Preservation and Education. It's for a City, so
    nothing too flashy.
    Any suggestions would help!

hmmm... do you have an identity already? logo, etc? maybe
some color in there could serve as the base?
also, how about thinking about this from a historical
perspective.... every period has a "color history" – popular
colors used during that era... what were the colors used in that
time period in your region? have you visited some of the
buildings/homes that are protected in that city's preservation
society? what are the common colors in them? take photos and use
them as base colors for kuler themes, creating triads and compund
    themse around them.
