Color turned to grey....Help!
I hit a couple of keys and all of one color went gray on one layer and I can't get it back to color. Even if I open a new layer, It comes in as gray.
What did I do wrong, and how can I get back to colour? I am on CMYK mode. Illustrator CS3. Can someone help? TIA!

I am just learning Photoshop CS4 on a Mac.
I selected a color, expecting the foreground color to change to that color so I could fill a an area. I found that the foreground color changed to grey. Whatever I tried it just went grey. Could someone tell me what is happening here. I am doing something wrong but I have no idea what it is.

What's weird is that after I restarted my computer and I tried to add the color transition it was available then....Very odd. But thank you soooooooooooo very much for replying to my post. My MacBook Pro just had a new memory and solid state drive installed. Since the installation, the Lightroom tools are now all grey. Even the color sliders are grey. Please help!
My guess is that your operating system got updated to Mavericks and that you are running an old version of Lightroom:

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The reapair shop is probably responsible. And now that you took it to a third party and not to apple store, Apple will not touch your phone at all. So you will probaly have to buy a new one or go back to the reapir shop and hope they can fix it.

Iphone 5 screen turned dark grey with random lines, Help!
So I was playing a game on my Iphone 5 when all of the sudden I get to the boss. Then the Phone's screen starts turning dark grey with lines streacking across it in clusters and the lines moving randomly. Then after a few moments the phone was complety dark grey. If i pressed the lock button it would turn off and again turn on to the same screen. I could somtimes barley make out the power bar on the top. Lastly I tried restarting it by holding the lock button and the home button and then it just turned off and wont turn on.
Here is what I know that could connect with the issue:
- Recently my phone has constantly given me a error message about a uncertified thing being connected into it when nothing was connected to it! And trust me I havent been jail breacking or putting knock off stuff in it or anything like that.
- The Only thing That I have been charing with is a USB plug that I conenct into my computer to charge and it is slighty broken but manages to work.
- Lastly which is proably a main factor of the issue, water may have gone inside the phone.
Does anyone have advice on what causes the damage and if not what fees am I looking at?Hi
The Nickys tip is not bad but I think you cannot be 100% sure about the fault if the notebook was not checked. Therefore the ASP should check the display and the FL inverter functionality and then you will get the proper answer about the fault.
But as mentioned it seems the graphic and the board are ok therefore it must be something like the FL inverter.
It would be very interesting to know what was wrong. Please post again if you have more news. Good luck -

ChrisJ4203, thanks very much for your input. I don't mean to turn this post into an endless debate, but frankly I am still having a hard time believing that the WiFi died as a result of a hardware failure.
My logic might be flawed, but here it is:
While the iPhone 4S got very hot when wirelessly downloading and installing iOS 7.0.4 over the WiFi network, the WiFi chip and antenna had to be functional to complete the wireless iOS update. Apple was very clear that iOS 7.0.4 is too large to download and install via cellular service. Accordingly it would appear that any hardware failure had to occur in the few minutes between the download/installation of iOS 7.0.4 and its first use. That window of opportunity is incredibly small in an otherwise flawless hardware performance. I am not a big believer in long shot coincidences, so a WiFi hardware malfunction seems highly improbable to me, but not impossible. A firmware/iOS conflict still seems more plausible to me.
I also don't read much into Apple's "out-of-warranty" replacement offer at $199. AT&T tells me that anyone walking in off the street (with or without a hardware or iOS malfunction) would receive the same offer.
I appreciate that some iPhone 4S users did not experience any WiFi issues when they updated to iOS 7.0.4, but such difference could easily be explained if Apple used more than one WiFi chip and/or firmware in the iPhone 4S series. Such an explanation would also account for iOS 7.0.4 (and 7.0.6) not recognizing the WiFi chip after the iOS update.
Still perplexed, but thanks again for your kind efforts to help.
Wonder if I can limp along long enough to spend my money on an Apple iPhone 6 ... but then again I don't want to be anyone's beta-tester.
I am tempted to switch to a Samsung Galaxy or some other smartphone as long as I will be buying new accessories, but frankly I don't want to waste my time learning a new OS or core apps. -

Choose the mailbox on the left, on the menu bar click mailbox, then click rebuild. That will usually get rid of emails that turn gray and stay in your mailbox.

I have a new 2nd generation ipod nano and its not turning on! help please!

BENQ FP718 Windows XPFirst, your iPod may need to fully charge which can take a couple hours. You may benefit from downloading the 2nd gen nano manual if you haven't already. If after allowing it to charge for a bit longer and still no life (try this with the iPod ejected from the computer to see if it will power on) then there may be another problem.
