Colored Screens

I was downloading the IOS 6 on my iPod Touch 4g when it crashed. It has had a blue screen on it ever since last year and we can't get it to work. I have even restarted it by holding down the home and lock botton at the same time over and over again, but it shows the apple logo and comes back with a different color each time. I have even tried charging it after like this website says but nothing works. What do I do?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

[SOLVED, PARTIALLY] Xorg 1.5 leaves me with freezed and colored screen

I was using xorg-server 1.4 with xf86-video-i810 and xf86-input-keyboard 1.3.1 and it was fine. Today, I upgrade my system and xf86-input-keyboard was upgrade to 1.3.2. With this upgrade, I was able to log into X but my keyboard was unusable. And since I do not have the old package of xf86-input-keyboard (version 1.3.1) in my hard disk, I am unable to go back.
So, I tried to upgrade my system completely including xorg-server 1.4 to 1.5 and xf86-video-i810 to xf86-video-intel. Then I tried starting up X and it gives a colorful screen with vertical lines.
Searched forum a bit and came to know that I can remove my xorg.conf since new xorg detects things on its own. Hence, I deleted xorg.conf and enabled hal in rc.conf. But this also gave me the same result.
Thirdly, I tried removing xbindkeys since there was some mention that it creates problem when starting up with X, but to no avail.
Finally, I tried using "hwd -u" and "hwd -xa" to get an xorg.conf as it was mentioned in some post. it too did not work.
Can someone help me get out of this mess. I'm not able to post links to other posts or my xorg log since I'm on links to browse net and using it first time.

After trying lot of things and not being able to get xorg-server 1.5 work with my system, the only way remaining was to build xf86-input-keyboard 1.3.1 using abs. Here is how I did it (will help those who does not know how to build using abs just as I did not know).
copy the following files in a folder.
/var/abs/extra/xf86-input-keyboard/PKGBUILD
/var/abs/extra/xf86-input-keyboard/new-server.patch
open PKGBUILD file using some editor, e.g. nano. and change the following lines to look like this
pkgver=1.3.1
pkgrel=1
Note, the version and release has to be changed.
Now run this command
makepkg
This will download a file and after a while you will get the following error:
validating source files with md5sums
xf86-input-keyboard-1.3.1.tar.gz FAILED
Now run the following command
md5sum -t xf86-input-keyboard-1.3.1.tar.gz
THis will give a long series of letters and numbers. Note that down and again open PKGBUILD file. Go to the end of the file and you will find 2 similar series of numbers and letters. Replace the first series with the number you have noted down. Save the file and exit.
Now again run
makepkg
This time, the process will continue and will not fail. You will get the installation file in the same directory, named like xf86-input-keyboard-1.3.1-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz.
now, install this file
pacman -U xf86-input-keyboard-1.3.1-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz
Do the same for other files, i.e., xorg-server 1.4 and xf86-video-i810-1.7.4, etc., if you happen to not have them in your hard disk.

Ipod touch has flashing colored screen and will not turn off

I have tried to plug the ipod into the computer and to reset it but it is frozen on a flashing colored screen.Any help would be appreciated.Thank-you

Let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour, try the reset and connect to computer and try to restore.

Something is wrong with your iPod. Check these:
iPod shows a folder icon with exclamation point when you turn it on
iPod does not appear in iTunes or desktop, an exclamation point or sad iPod icon
If the suggestions do not work your iPod may have a hardware problem and you may need to have it serviced.

My screen laptop Satelitte M305D-S430 have turned into purple color screen

I got a problem with my laptop. Suddenly, My screen laptop have turned into purple color screen.
As a result I could not see clearly the colors on my laptop.
Colors such as yellow and green looks to be black, red looks like orange and other bright colors look the other colors.
I don't know and confuse with my laptop, whereas previously fine after being repaired flexible cable for 2 weeks ago.
You think what's happened with my laptop?

Looks like hardware problem.
What do you see when you connect an external display to the SVGA port. This sould tell you if it is the display panel or the motherboard.

The new Color screen ipod mini

Has anyone heard about the new color screen ipod mini?? When the new ipod mini comes out is there going to be an update to the older version because it would be really cool if the older versions can be updated to color screens!!!!

You'll probably need to take or send your iPod in for service either to Apple or a third party repair company.

Different colored screens

Hello, both my friend and I own Iphone 4's. When we look at our screens, they look completely different. His has a very visible yellow tinted screen, and mine is more 'white' looking. I will post an image as soon as I can, but is this normal? Why are the screens such different colors?

the yellow tint on the screen that you mention could be the adhesive that hasn't been fully dried when it came out of the production line. Normally, as genius would also say is to try to use it for a week, and if it doesn't disappear you can go get a replacement, but they should dry out. So give it a week.

After you have loaded the channel select the channel from the Availabel channels list and click the Edit Channel button.In the new screen that appears you can change the BGCOLOR of the Channel.

Different colored screen on start up

Recently when I open my computer, the screen comes up in different colors of light blue, green, yellow and a few others. It looks sort of like a tie-die shirt. The first time it lasted about 5 seconds, the second time about 20 seconds and the third time I turned off the computer and restarted it because I did not think it was going to clear up. You can make out the proper screen in the background, but not very well. Any guesses?

Please don't understand me wrong but in your first posting you didn't offer any single useful information. To be honest I don't understand what happen exactly.
Either take a little bit time and explain us the problem or go to service, put the notebook in front of them and show technicians what happen exactly.

Colorful Screens in Webdyn pro

I am developing a PDA application using Netweaver Mobile 7.1. I am using NWDS 7.1 and developing the applications in the Handhelds and Laptop perspective.
How can i make the Webdyn pro screens more colorful and presentable ? I mean is there any option to add a section header and to change its color , background color, color of radio buttons or any other feature ?

Hello,
There is a configuration file where you can change the color of the different part of the UI. I do not have NW 7.1 installed so I cannot tell you exactly where that file is, but there is a way to edit it.
