after updating the illustrator I can not coloring inside the some objects

Are your lines flattened, so that they are embedded on the white background? if so, make the background layer a regular layer, then change it's blend mode to multiply. Put a blank layer below it. Use the magic wand tool or some other tool to select the area you want to color then use Select>Modify>Expand to make your selection slightly larger than the area. You can then paint on the new blank layer, and the top layer will only show the black of your lines.

Coloring inside line art?

Pretty quick and simple question: if I've made a drawing using the line tool, how do I color inside my shapes? Currently my file is just a mess with hundreds of layers each containing one individual line. The only way I found was to open the image as a .png file and use the magic wand. It kinda messed up the lines, so what's the simplest/best way to do this?
PS: I don't have Illustrator.

How to change color inside single item? [SOLVED]

I'd like to change background color inside item (on blue for ex.: see http://www.marussig.si/weblib/screen.jpg ) . The problem is that the block is multiline block but I have to change the color just on one line in one column. Is this possible? If I use set_item_propery syntaks, the whole item changes the color what I don't want to do.

and opening Color themes opens the good old Ku;leer that doesn't update the research by key word.

hey guys how can i change the color inside a mask? i mean when i trace a mask with rectangle selection i have the yellow border and inside i hve in example the black color if i want to hide something
how can i make the color inside in example white and not black?

First of all you need to understand what is going on when you apply a mask.
Mask cuts hole in a layer (guess, proper word to your current mask settings is 'Subtract').
If the footage on which you apply the mask is a single layer in your composition, you see the composition background in the 'hole'.
Therefore, you can either change your composition background colour or place a solid with desired colour below your footage.
If the footage is not the only layer in a composition, but you still want to see some solid colour inside a hole, whereas other things on a background remain preserved, you can e.g. duplicate your footage with mask, replace lower instanse with a solid (painted to your favourite colour) and invert 'Subtract' to 'Add'.

Export word to pdf and maintain font color inside tables

Hello,
I'm strugling with producing a PDF from Word document and keep the red colored text inside excel tables that are on the Word document.
From excel I copy the tables to Word 2007, with "Paste special --> Paste link as Microsoft Office Excel 2003 worksheet object".
In Word all the colors and objects are fine. The problem happens when I try to produce a PDF from that. The red and blue text inside the tables appears with black color on the PDF.
This happens always. With MsOffice Save as PDF, with Acrobat 9 save as Adobe PDF, print Adobe PDF and with free PDF Creator.
I've attached the *.doc and *.xls where this problem is occuring.

Solution found. For the pdf printers to work correctly it is necessary to adjust the format when copying from excel. That option needs to be enabled in advanced:

As no one at Adobe can seem to answer questions these days I will offer the only solution I have found. There doesn't seem to be a way to this but I go in afterwards and clean up lines using slide and the eraser which allows you to erase in a straight edge.

Is there an easy way to make the row colors alternate inside the netui-data:repeater?
I am looking for somthing similar to what happens with the netui-data:grid tag.

Dreamweaver CC, how to get php coloring inside html files

Before I could do it by changing the extension.txt file. Now when I try to change the file extension.txt I can't save it but I get an access denied error.
I am running with administrative privileges.
Any ideas?

Before I used to be able to tweak the configuration file from DW (extensions.txt) and Dreamweaver would color the php code that was contained inside an html files.
I need the code coloring to apply in files with extension html.

Change UIbutton color inside UITableViewCell

I have a simple problem ... but its turning into a very difficult problem .. i have a button inside uitableviewcell and want to change its color through code .... i could aceive it by changing its background image. But its kinna hazy ... its not the solid color ... and when i use [cell.button setBackgroundColor:[UIcolor redColor]] ... the button color does not change ...

In my application I have a NSTimer which calls every 2 sec. a method which should change the color of the button. I would be also happy if the display blinks red and normal...

Change swatch color inside swatch dialog box

In other words, say you have a PMS 485 swatch loaded in your palette and you want to change that swatch to PMS 286, it would be nice if you could double click on the 485 swatch and change the color from a drop-down menu, etc.

I've always done this with a Pantone colour guide at hand.
So if you've got a swatch of Pantone 485 (CMYK=0.97.100.0), just double-click on the swatch to get the CMYK reading Alter the name to Pantone 286 and alter the CMYK values to 100.66.0.2. Then everything that was red 485 will change to blue 286.
It's best not to import a new swatch of 286 while you have 485 running - if you do you will have to use Select Same Fill and Select Same Stroke and alter the colours from one swatch to the other with the accompanying danger of missing something.

How do you recolor artwork from black/white to color inside Recolor Artwork?

In Recolor artwork is there a way to change the black and white colors to a color? When I try to edit them it doesn't edit them at all. It would be nice if I didn't have to manually tweak the colors to have color before I go into Recolor Artwork.

In the center of the window with the Assign tab active, there is a Color Reduction Options button. Click that, then uncheck White nad Black under "Preserve".

Text color inside of Premiere now Turquoise

I just bought a windows 8 machine and put Premiere Pro CC and Photoshop CC on it. The color of some of the text in Premiere (but not Photoshop) is now turquoise, instead of the gold. How can I change it back?

DVD Studio Pro: Unwanted color inside menu fading transition

Hi,
I am not sure that my title is very clear…
I'd like to fade from menus to menus, made with Photoshop, adding a new element with each new menu.
It would work great if I had not a colour appearing in the middle of the fading…
All my menus have white background and text on it.
When I fade from one to another I get a grey background appearing at mid fading…
I can't find how I could get rid of that…
Do ou kow what happens ?

How do i use conditional formatting to edit the color of other selected other cells?

I have been playing around with the conditional formatting feature of Numbers, I have figured out how to change font and background color of the cell i am working with.
However what i am looking to do is apply a background color formatting to another cell (i.e. F2) if conditions are met in (B2).
the end game is this,
I want to make a column of check boxes, and using contional formating i want adject cells to change color (I.e. the example above: if (B2) is a check box, then when unchecked the reffered Cell (F2) does nothing, but when check the color of (F2) changes)
I can make this happen with Logic equations, the give (i.e. F2) some letter or number value, then using conditional formats i can have the color change. but this leaves that particular cell useless to me (i.e. F2) I am not free to enter or edit text in that cell. (i.e. =IF(B2=TRUE,"Paid","Due") ----> then add a conditional statement that chages color when the value is either "Paid" or "Due")
How do i have F2 change color, when B2 is checked and still retain the ability to enter information (or potential have another formula) in F2? (The Cell is not used up by "Paid" or "Due" it is editable just like any other cell)
is there anyway to change cell characteristics like font, color, and background color inside a formula, because in that way i would be able build it manually
i tried using the formula editor inside the conditional format pane, but the only infor it will allow me to retain is one partictular cell. i cannot add modifiers like "+" or "=" or anything else. what is that space used for then?

You can do what you want in Numbers. It requires an auxiliary column and it's a bit tedious to set up because conditional formatting by comparison to another cell isn't relative, so each cell has to be programmed individually with no option to Paste or Fill to other cells in a range.
For explanation purposes, let's say your checkbox is A2, your cell to be conditionally formatted is B2, and your auxiliary cell is C2. To have the format of B2 determined by the checkbox status in A2, you will:
1. In C2 write: =IF(A, B, " ") The " " is any string or value that you don't expect to encounter in B normally, and using the space character means you don't have to worry about having it visible if C is in View.
2. In B2 use Conditional Format: "Equal To" cell C2 and set your text and fill attributes to be used when the box in A is checked.
That's it. Do that for every cell in the range.
