Colors are all Negative...

Hello,
I have a question. My 15 month old daughter, who loves our iBook hit some buttons when I got up for a second. When I came back to the comp, all the colors were negative. whites are black, greens are red and so on. I assume she hit a few buttons and switched it. I have restarted, changed settings and all that. My screen is still funkified. Can someone tell me what she may have pushed?

Just press Command(Apple)Option(alt)+ctrl8 and all should be back to normal.

Video images are garbled and colors are all run together

Just got a new computer and downloaded newest version of quicktime. I can't watch any videos/webcasts etc. The sound is fine and the video plays but the screen is "garbled" and the colors are all off/run together?
I can play a dvd fine

I am having a similar problem and tried the same fix and it did not work for me either. In my case the video plays for a few seconds then get choppy but the audio is fine. Someone on this site suggested that my machine does not have enough to play the H.264 codec. I do have an older machine a compaq 1.20 GHz , 512 MB Ram running XP home sp2. It should be able to run a video. After all I am not on a 486 machine. I finally had to back out of the QT 7.1.6 and currently running QT 6.5.2. It works fine for me at least at this point. But of course now that means I cannot look at videos using the latest format.

I finally got to my references. This had to do with "soft proofing" on screen in Photoshop.
So this may not help you at all. Re: Strange sRGB soft-proofing behavior So go ahead and leave that setting at Basic.
However there is a Color Management forum that you also go to and see if anyone has answers for your particular problem.

HUGE VIDEO PROBLEM! The colors are all wrong! Quicktime Gamma Bug!

I'm on a Mac, and there is a huge problem with video. When you view or playback videos, the color is all wrong! It's desaturated and faded. If you import your videos into premiere or playback through vlc, then everything looks correct. If you play them back or edit them in lightroom, the colors are all wrong.

Ok, but we'll need more details.
Your OS version, how you calibrate your monitor, whether you see the same playing through Quicktime standalone on your Mac, what camera the videos came from, whether they've been edited in other software, etc.
This is a beta so there will be bugs - that information could help narrow down and fix issues such as these.

I recently bought this ipod touch and i have synced all my music and photos but the photos are all in negative format.... does any oneknow what the issue is?

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Invert colors and turn this Off.

My screens colors are all messedup

i dont know what happened i fell asleep with my keyboard on the bed and when i woke up all my colors are not normal is there anyway i can go to default? please help i dont know what to do here the desktop looks bright white and dock looks white as well i did a restart but same thing.

Look in the "Seeing" tab of "Universal Access" system preference and make sure it is set to "Black on White" and the "Enhance contrast" slider is all the way to the left (Normal).

First reset the camera to factory defaults. Or you can do a Clear all settings and a Clear all Custom settings. These functions are in the Menu. Now go out and try it. Let me know how it responded.

To fix, try:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset : Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

Whenever I visit sites that require Adobe Flash Player such as youtube, the colors are all off.

The computer plays YT videos fine and graphics are great but, when I play a DVD the colors are all shifted about an inch to the right, especially reds. Looks like someone changed setting in iOS8.
Change this setting.
Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Grayscale or Invert Colors

Invert the colors back to normal.

The color of my screen is wrong. All the blues are bronze and pictures look they are in negative form.

there are two solutions to this: the first (longer one) is if you open up System Preferences, go to Universal Access, and turn display from 'White on Black' to 'Black on White'.

Sync works the same way it always has, connect the device, select the content desired to sync and sync.
All the media should be in iTunes already, iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
If this is a new computer, move the content from the old computer to the new computer.
