Colors dialed in by the numbers do not stick. I have a 1-color yellow logo that I open in Photoshop in RGB mode. I need the RGB values for the yellow to be specific (232/157/0). So I select the logo, dial in the RGB numbers for the yellow, fill in the selected logo with the correct color, and save. I close the file then reopen it and check the RGB values and they are off by 1 number (now 232/158/1). Why is it doing this?? I expect when I open an Illustrator file in Photoshop that the numbers will shift because this has happened my entire career. HOWEVER, when I save a Photoshop document then re-save it and it's different the next time I open it, I am lost for answers. BTW my color management settings are synced across the Adobe suite for "North America General Purpose 2" if that makes a difference. I am running PS CS6 (13.0.5) on OSX 10.8.5. Any answers would be appreciated.

First of all you should know that RGB numbers are specific to the color space the file is in. The same color in sRGB and Adobe RGB will not have the same RGB numbers.
However, that can't be the case here because the difference is only one single value. So my guess is that you're looking at the result of (destructive) jpeg compression.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

When I rearrange the order of my photos in an album, the order does not stick for exporting for a book.

I manally rearrange my photos in an album, the order does not stick when I export to a folder in order to make a book. Also, if I have given a title to a photo, it does not seem to export with the other pictures in an album.

It's a little vague on what you're workflow is. So I'll make a guess about the book: if you're dragging those photos into an iPhoto book they will be sorted by date. So you would have to use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date (with 1 minute between photos) menu option on those photos in the album before dragging them onto the book icon.
Photos exported to a folder on the hard drive will be sorted by the Finder either alphanumerically or chronologically. To get them in the manual order that's in the album you'll need to rename them via the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Title to Text with a sequential number added to each photo. Then export to the Desktop with the option to use the Title as the new File name.

I have a wired keyboard. the character symbols above the numbers (not the number pad) are not working. other characters appear instead. Help

Go to system preferences/language & text/input sources and make sure that ONLY the box for US is checked (or whatever keyboard you normally use, we have no way of knowing what country you are in if you don't tell us).

If I understand correctly, you cannot open anything with Numbers and it is preventing you from restarting the computer. It seems like the program is stuck and needs to be force quit. Use this article to do that, then finish restarting the computer and try again.

Color correction arrow in the inspector not working

I noticed today that my color correction arrow in the inspector is not working. I click and click on it and it doesn't show the color board. The only way to show the color board is to use the shortcut command-6 or to click below and "show color board." So I can still get to the color board but it's frustrating that the arrow will not work. The arrow does work, however, to get from the color board back to the inspector. I am using the latest version of Final Cut X. Anyone else have this issue? Would love some help!

It's the multicolored arrow in the bottom right. It has worked before today with no problems. I don't know why it just suddenly stopped working.

Making calls that I don't have the numbers for....

We switched to Verizon mid 2010. We got new phones, but kept our numbers. My husband's phone called a phone number that is not saved in his phone without his knowledge, twice. Has this happened to anyone before? How can we make sure it doesn't happen again. The number that was called was not someone we wanted to call ever again...thanks.

How did his phone "call a phone number without his knowledge"? By itself, just sitting on a table? Pocket dialing? If the number is not in his contact list, I'm confused how it was dialed "without his knowledge" - and how did you discover it had been called?
I'm confused...if we know more of HOW it happened, it would help to prevent it from happening again. I don't understand how the phone could call a number the way you describe....

How can I change a string to a numeric when the numbers are separated by blank spaces?

I would like to change a list of numbers in string to a list of number in numeric like in the attached vi. Unfortunately, the numbers are not separated by commas but by blank spaces. Which character can I use for the blank space?

Why don't you just use the Spreadsheet String to Array function instead. You can specify any delimiter you want. See the attached picture.

Could not complete the command because the extension could not be loaded

I was working in 3D with PS CS5 Extended. I went to the Window drop down menu and selected Color. I got the message "Could not complete the command because the extension could not be loaded" and the color pallet and swatches would not appear. I had to click on OK the error message three times to get rid of it as it kept reappearing. The the mini bridge and Brush pallets opened, including Brush Presets tab and Clone Source tab instead of the color pallets. How can I get my color pallets back?
I am on an iMac Intel core i3 running OS X Lion 10.7.2

I unstalled Photoshop. Then I installed on another drive. External. It did the same thing!!!! No mini-bridge, or any extentions loading. I don't know what is wrong.

Instead numbers are comming in engl I have set Regional options to Arabic. I am getting Numbers in arabic style when O/P is viewed in Report builder previewer or HTMLCSS or HTML. How to get Numbers in Arabic style in PDF o/p.

We have seen some PDF documents having Arabic native numerals. But why a PDF document generated by Oracle reports is not able to show numbers in arabic style........
I want to know whether it is possible to get Arabic native numerals in PDF o/p generated by 9iDS report builder.
IS anything else needs to be done apart from configuring PDF subset section in uifont.ali in this regard.

By saying Numbers are not comming in arabic style i mean to say that in arabic report's PDF o/p, numbers(data from database) are not in arabic native numerals. Arabic labels and character data is comming properly in arabic.
Where as the other o/p formats like HTMLCSS and HTML(IE 6.0) are having numbers in arabic native. But for me the requirement is Arabic report's o/p when veiwed in PDF format it should be completely arabic native only. This is very urgent.

I make changes on the calendar of my MacBook Pro but the changes do not take and revert to what the entry was prior.

For the past week or so, I have made changes to the calendar on my MacBook Pro. The changes do not "stick" on my MacBook calendar and do not sync with any other device (iPhone or iPad). I just can't figure this out. Anyone have any suggestions?

By everything, I am assuming you have tried resetting the SMC (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964) and PRAM (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379). If you haven't tried this yet, please do!

The update you're talking about was the firmware update. Hopefully resetting the PRAM gets you up and running. Try resetting it 3 times in a row (hold the keys down until you hear 3 startup chimes).
