I am trying to do the speed grade tutorial, but the color does not change when I move the temperature slider.
It might be nice to know which "issue" of Sg you're using.There have been issues where the colors "lag" while using a slider/control, but typically when you let "up" on the control, the adjustment is "there". From your comment, am I correct in assuming that the controls simply don't do anything even after you've moved them? And of course ... when you "move" them, you do see the indicator on the slider-line move, right?

Try A and B
(A) Restart iPad
1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
2. Drag the slider to turn off iPad.
3. Turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears
(B) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected. -
Why do the colors in my RGB image change when uploading to the web?
I'm editing my image within Photoshop & have worked with it being RGB from the very start. I place the saved image in Dropbox so I can access it from my phone to place on all my social media accounts. Once I got to upload the image on the web to my social accounts the colors completely change becoming dull & drab, it looks nothing like the image I saved. Been racking my brain on how to fix this but haven't had a solution that worked yet. Suggestions?

check out this video which explains very well the difference between different color profiles Visualizing Color Profiles on Vimeo and remember that the web uses "standard RGB - 72 dpi".
I will recommend this setting in Edit Menu> Color Settings -
With all other applications running maximized (full screen) the Windows taskbar pops up from the bottom when the cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen, but now with Firefox. Why not, and how do I fix this?
Are you in fullscreen or maximized for Firefox?
There is an entry that show toolbars when in fullscreen you can check if its on in the about:config page, but if you have never been there before do not worry about this troubleshooting step. (I do not know if you have or not :-))

Try flipping the switch on the side of the iPad, if that mutes the iPad double click the home button scroll to the left and click the circle arrow with the no sign through it.

Have a look at the user status table TSOCM_STAT_PROP and see if there are any unwanted PROCESS_TYPE <> STSMA combinations.
For your process type there should only be one kind of status schema assigned. -

I have a table where the contents of one column are either "YES" or "NO", depending on formulas using variables from other cells. If YES, I want the fill of that cell and that of two adjacent cells to change from white to green. I select all three cells and use conditional format rules for "text contains:" YES, then choose my fill color. When I return to the table and introduce values for the variables that trigger the rule, only the cell in the YES/NO column changes to green; the other two remain white.
While I am spreadsheet challenged, I usually can follow directions as plain as those in Help, but it's not working. I couldn't find anything in the discussions after an hour of searching. Is this a known problem or am I just stupid?For what it's worth, that's the way I read that line in the User Guide as well. What it actually appears to mean, though is 'Rules applied to multiple cells apply independently to each of the cells."
Here's a workaround for your three adjacent columns. Long, but fairly simple steps.
Add a second table to the sheet (Table 2).
Resize the second table to one column wide and as many rows as you want to apply the conditional format to.
Set the width of the column to the same width as the three columns you want to highlight, and the row height(s) to match the rows.
Format to table to have NO Header or Footer row or column.
Use the Wrap Inspector to uncheck "Object causes wrap"
In the first top cell of Table 2, enter an = sign, then Click on Table 1 in the sidebar, Click on the first cell that will hold YES or NO.
Fill the formula down the rest of Table 2.
With all cells in Table 2 selected, use the Cell Format inspector to set the 'text contains yes' rule and the conditional fill colour for these cells.
Test the conditional formating by introducing values into Table 1.
Click on Table 1 in the sidebar, then use the Table inspector to set Cell Fill to 'none'.
Click on Table 2 in the sidebar, then drag that table onto table 1 aligning it to cover the cells in which the conditional formating is to appear.
When positioned (and still selected), go to the Arrange menu and Send Backward to move Table 2 behind the (transparent) cells in Table 1.
With Table 2 still selected, click on the Cell Borders color well and set the Opacity of the borders to 0%.
Click the Text inspector and set the Text colour Opacity for Table 2 to 0%.

I have a keynote presentation that includes a significant amount of video. When I edit the keynote slides (not the video slides) how can I save the changes without re-saving the videos (because that takes a VERY long time)? I edit the presentation depending on the audience to which I am presenting.
If you add a new slide with just a text box (therefore a very small amount of data), to an existing presentation then save, Keynote will only save the new content to the file, it wont save pre-existing content as its already included in the file.
The time taken to "save" will be very much shorter than a "save as" when all of the existing content is saved again. -
Does anyone has a problem with the screen of the new ipad? (there's a part of the screen which the color in it is "very" bright) and when I move the aluminium part of the smart cover when it's attached to the ipad the colors change!! Help!!!

On my Mac desktop I must have changed a setting so that now when I move the mouse the open windows fly off to the sides and I can't see them. They come back when I move the mouse, but it is so annoying. How can I make the windows not disappear like that?
Click on the Hot Corners.. button and look at the four definitions. In the picture below, if you moved the cursor to the right top of the screen, it would slide all the applications off the screen as you describe and show the desktop. Set it to "-" to deactivate.

Swipe up on the bottom of the screen to expose control center and see if the orientation lock is on (top row of controls, far right; looks like a lock with a circular arrow).
Not all apps support orientation changes, BTW. -
Why does stroke color change when i move layers?
ok, i have a lavendar box with black stroke on green layer. on blue layer i have everything else: text, lighter lavendar bg, graphics. when i move the box on top of the bg layer, it looks fine, see below
but i need for the small box to be underneath the graphic. wheni move the green layer below the blue layer, the black stroke becomes gray:
how can i keep it black?Is this the box where you changed the opacity by movingthe slider in the Effects panel? That creates a transparent condition and the black border may also be taking on the transparency, depending on if you selected Object or Fill while moving the slider.
In any case, I don't think you want transparency in this position at all, and that your fill should be a solid color, as should the stroke. If you want the fill to be a tint of another color, make a swatch of that color and either create a tint swatch from that (a good idea since you can easily apply it lots of places), or fill the object with the swatch, then move the opcity slider in the SWATCHES panel to adjust the tint. -

Garage Band, I am using an MBOX with a digi design audio core as a mic interface to recod into Garage Band. Now when I Change the preferences to use the MBOX I can not move the recorder slider and there is no sound going into garage band? Any solutions
10.5.8 with latest garageband 5.1 with MBOX 1. On Nov 4.09 I did a software update, now i get no output volume or input volume to the computer itself. I get it from head phones from my mbox, but not to the computer. Before the software update It worked great. I've tried upgrading software through digidesign .com, but they dont seem to have one for what i need. any way to get my old garage band back? go from 5.1 to earlier? Or maybe it was the upgrade to 10.5.8. update? Can i go back in time lol?
Any help would be appreciated

Ive tried all the system sound prefs, and garage band drivers. Back and forth.
