Colors in Text Areas

Question

Hi all.
I've been working an a project that involves emailing and stuff.
I've got all the Action Listeners sorted out and i just need to know if
font colors and faces/styles, can be changed in a textarea.

I meant something like this:

  JFrame frame = new JFrame("test");
  frame.setSize(200, 50);
  frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
  JTextArea txtField = new JTextArea();
  txtField.setForeground(java.awt.Color.RED);
  frame.add(txtField);
  frame.setVisible(true);
