ColorSync issue - any planned patches or updates?

I just purchased a wide gamut monitor, the Dell U2410 and have stumbled upon the fact that ColorSync in OS X assumes ICC untagged images are in the same color space as the monitor instead of assuming sRGB. Since the colorspace of the monitor is much wider than sRGB the error results in oversaturated images.
Is there a rational reason for coding this into ColorSync? I've seen alot of comments on the web about this problem, but no response from apple about planned fixes or an explantion.

Unfortunately it seems most of the untagged images on the internet are sRGB rather than the colorspace of my monitor. Of course this is more noticeable on a wide colorspace monitor. I'm afraid this won't get corrected until Apple chooses to use a wide gamut lcd in one of their Cinema Displays. It would be nice if it was assuming generic RGB profile since the images wouldn't appear as oversaturated. I wish there was a plist value I could change to tweak this. All the pictures I've exported to phanfare in sRGB appear oversaturated on the web page and on the screen saver. They've told me the ICC profile is stripped and that they don't currently support embedded ICC profiles.

Are there any planned LiveView Updates?

Just wondering if there are any planned software/firmware updates in the works or is this product considered good as is / end of life. As it stands as is my liveview is about 2 feet from the garbage can.

I got a LiveView very early on. Sent it back for a full refund after a couple of days as it just didn't work. But I love the idea of it as a concept, so I thought I'd check back in here today, nearly a year later, and read up on the newer version/the updated firmware/the greater support for official plugins/the free wrist-strap replacements that looked better and didn't mean you lost the device/how SE had managed to get it working and everyone was very happy etc
But, no.
No progress/updates at all.
In nearly a year!
SE could have made this device as widespread as an iPod if they'd taken the time to address the initial issues (would have been better to have fixed them before releasing it, but hey).
Instead, it looks like they're happy to let this wonderful concept die a slow, miserable death. With the added pain of SE's name being further tarnished due to lack of any kind of response to the universally-agreed issues that blight it.

CPUs and Patch Set Updates

if somebody can help me clarify on what security patches should be installed for Audit Vault.
I have installed 10.2.3 and patch set 10.2.3.1
CPUOct2009 specifies the following:
+ Critical Patch Updates are applied only on the base release version, for example 10.2.0.4.0
+ Patch Set Updates can be applied on the base release version or on any earlier Patch Set Update. For example, 10.2.0.4.2 can be applied on 10.2.0.4.1 and 10.2.0.4.0
+ Once a Patch Set Update has been applied, the recommended way to get future security content is to apply subsequent Patch Set Updates. Reverting from an applied Patch Set Update back to the Critical Patch Update, while technically possible, requires significant time and effort, and is not advised.
So for Audit Vault, is 10.2.3 considered the base release version, or 10.2.3.1?
Should i install Patches 6914302 and 7240123 (indicated in Table 5 of CPUOct2009) ?
or are we covered security-wise and just wait for 10.2.3.2?

Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center 12c does not support RHEL 5.9 but did oracle have any plan to release patchs to support RHEL 5.9?

OPS Center 12C is successfully installed & configured on RHEL 5.9 but post installation while trying to configure controller (enterprise & proxy) using http url it redirect to secure port https but doent promts login screen page. Later i found RHEL 5.9 O.S doen't support Ops center 12c.
Did oracle have any bug / patches for this issue ? or any planned release for / against this vulnerabilities ?

On Enterprise Manager server [nsn175-105], we did the following:
1. we modified /etc/exports to include this line: /export *(rw,no_root_squash,sync)
we start nfs service by executing command “service nfs start”.
On Management Agent server (nsn175-89), we verified that we are able to mount /export directory of EM server.
On Management Agent server, we started firefox browser and were able to run successfully https://nsn175-105.us.oracle.com:4904/empbs/genwallet
After making this change, we ran agent deployment again. We encountered the same error as shown above.

For fixing the software library, select Setup->Provision and Patching->Offline Patching, then select Offline Patching radio button, download: https://updates.oracle.com/download/em_catalog.zip. Next upload this zip file.

We are not sure what agent bits are. Would you please explain this and provide procedure how we can download this?
(Here I have attempted to fix the software library, but I am new to Enterprise Manager and not sure how to interpret this).

Any Plans To Update?

The most current version of iOS Photoshop Touch is version 1.3 which was released in September but only included bug fixes for iOS 8. Are there any plans to update this app with more functionality now that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have been released. I really enjoy using this app often but feel that there is a lack of functionality in some areas. The two newer phones have a lot more power than their predecessors and the iPhone 6 Plus makes Photoshop Touch a much better experience on the phone. It would be awesome to see some optimization for all that extra space and use of the extra power provided by the new Devices. With the new apps that were released by adobe it made me wonder if Photoshop Touch is being discontinued or just no longer being updated?

New router models also have an USB console.
That, of course, doesn't eliminate drivers issues.
If you think about, there is really no easy or immediate solution. If you think you may need to access console, better be prepared before.

You can turn it off by going to Settings > FaceTime and changing "iPhone Cellular Calls" to off

Any issues with latest 2014 ios update & Straight Talk

Hi, I've been with straight talk for about 2 weeks without any problem - switching --porting--pics.....all went well . Now my phone ( iPhone 3c) shows iOS update waiting..
Due to all I have read here & there,I'm a bit uneasy to do the update. Has anyone had any issues with lates t2014 ios update using ST? Will it affect the working of the phone if I don't do update? Thanks for any input.

Hi, Glad that worked for you. I don't know why this is happening other than to offer an opinion. This hardware acceleration was causing an issue with the previous version of FP also. I think that this technology is ready but the websites are not, youtube included.
The same thing happened with Flash Player for the mobile phones, Android in particular. Adobe was ready but had to wait on Google to catch up. So the users thot Adobe was at fault, but that wasn't the case. Google had to update and that was done with their 2.2 update. This is not an opinion however. I followed this because users were coming here asking why Flash Player wasn't available for their Android:-)
Adobe/Microsoft/Mac/Linux are all involved and if one advances a particular technology that effects the others, then each one must make a change for that technology to work. At least that's how I see it.

There is no bluetooth connectivity issue after the recent OS update. There may be a problem with your phone, which may or may not be related to the update. A "common problem" looks like this in the forums:
I haven't seen any threads on BlueTooth with over 1.4 million views and over 12,000 replies, or even any vaguely close. For any problem that someone has there is bound to be someone else amoung 150 million users who have it. That doesn't make it a "common problem."
If you tell us what the problem is specifically and what you have done so far to try to resolve it someone can probably help you.

The iOS 6 is great, but really is there some issues with some people. This is your choice, but i would suggest to update only when the new version of the iOS 6 (probably the 6.0.1) comes out.

You may already have tried this, but before you completely give up, I'd check your home router software and also reset the router. I haven't seen this particular issue arise on these forums with new iPad devices, so perhaps it has to do with outdated software or configuration on the router not playing well with the new device....

Locking Issue in Planning DSO in SAP BW 7.3(Integrated Planning)

Hi Experts,
We have built Aggregation Level on Direct Update (planning enabled) DSO and used the same in the input ready queries.( Its complete Manual planning - new row addition feature in WAD).
We have 5 characteristic and one key figure for planning.
We are facing lock issue while planning the data i.e. when one user is planning, other user cannot plan.
The lock relevant characteristic is Column A and the same has been added to the Lock Characteristic tab(RSPLSE) of the infoprovider. The input ready query is also restricted with a variable on Column A (manual input single variable- mandatory).
While the user opens the Planning Layout and plans the data, we can see lock entry in RSPLSE(locks tab) for the Column A selection in the infoprovider, yet if another user is trying to plan for data for some other selection of Column A, a lock entry in RSPLSE is shown with the selection but it errors in thelayout with lock on the infoprovider and cannot plan the data.
Any inputs will be of great help.

Found the answer.
We had used the Planning Function directly in the WAD layout before saving data without filter.(basically to check some condition).
Created the Planning Sequence with Column A filter on the Aggregation level and used the same sequence before saving the data in WAD
Issue resolved.
