No, but  in so10 you can type your line (sapscript editor) like:
some text <r>red text<//> some text  (just one slash...)
and when you include this text in your smartform, it takes the r definition from the style you have assigned in the smartform properties.

  • Frozen Itouch with multi-coloured horizontal lines

On 1st January 2012 since 3am Sydney Australia time the Itouch now shows 1 cm of pixel thin - multi-coloured horizonal lines.  Pressing the sleep and menu buttons for 30 seconds does not power the Itouch off.
I had recently upgraded the itouch purchased 1 year ago to ios 5.01 - is it related to the upgrade?
Is it related to the date?
Please help....what can I do....all I can think of is to let the battery run flat...

Thanks IIIaass I really appreciate your reply.
When I followed your instructions.  After connecting the Ipod to its syncing computer it did not see it....and I also could not put it in recovery mode - by holding the two buttons at the same time.
...after about an hour of displaying the horizontal lines the battery went flat and the screen turned off and finally showed somed something different - the battery symbol.
I then put it on the ipod dock and it now works properly.
Thanks so much for your help.
    In summary if anyone notices:
that the reset buttons don't work, just let the battery run flat (rather than put the ipod on its charging dock)
....and stop playing with the ipod when it warns you the battery is low

Just to make sure, try a different set of cables. If the problem persists, have the unit replaced by Apple.

are you using the iOS camera? if you do, visit your apple store for further help, sounds like a hardware problem.
    or:
hold home and lock button pressed until your iphone restarts.
if that didn't help, visit your apple store.
if you are not using the iOS camera, delete that app.

    Hi.
I think you can creat linestroke in chart and specify weight of line.
For labels maybe you can creat some itemrenderer...

  • There are coloured vertical lines on my iMac screen?

So, I was browsing Safari using my iMac the other day (as I always do), when my computer froze and I had to force shut down. Upon starting back up, I noticed that 1. there were coloured diagonal lines on my iMac screen, and 2. that my mac would not boot up unless I booted it using safe mode. I haven't had an issue with this iMac until now, so I am kind of concerned...
I know that this is not an issue with damage to the iMac screen because, well, when I took a screenshot using shift + command + 4, the coloured lines were still there!
So, I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the cause of this issue could be? I'm wondering if it is linked to Safari (because when I open a new tab, Safari slows down massively and my top sites selection keeps appearing and disappearing rapidly. Does anyone know what is causing this issue and how I could solve it. I hope its nothign expensive like replacing the motherboard...

Yes, it does require some disassembly. Namely, removing the glass, screen and the GPU component. Total war could probably develop temperatures too high.
I don't know how familiar you are with reflowing. This is only a crash introduction, to get an idea what reflowing might include (i.e. not a detailed procedure)...
Reflowing theory to give you some background. Here and here in more detail.
To get familiar with iMac (only steps 1 through 9 apply). After that, GPU component can be taken out, and from that point on, the work is done on the GPU component.
GPU component is then disassembled in 3 key parts. The heatsink, the reinforcement, and the video card itself.
The video card and the heat sink are then cleaned carefully using alcohol from any residue of thermal compound. Any paper stickers must be peeled off, too.
Reflowing. Videos to get an idea how it is done. Here and here.
    New thermal compound is applied.
    Assembly.
It is a risky approach, especially if you are not comfortable with disassembling your iMac. In that case I would suggest you do not do that at all. Still, even then, I hoped it could give some clue to the issue and you might get someone to do it for you.
    Cheers

  • HP iq772.uk multi coloured vertical lines on boot

    Hi guys,
I've got a iq772.uk all in one shaped brick at the moment. All it does on start up is show me some random bunch of different coloured vertical lines. The hard drive and fan are buzzing away, so I just think this is a graphics card issue.
It's well out of warranty, I just wondered if anyone knows if it has an integrated chip set or a separate graphics card that I could replace before I take it apart? Obviously if it's built in it would be a bit of a no go.
    Cheers,
    Nicola

Keywords: IQ770 IQ772 graphics problem fix disassembly
I experienced similar problems. From digging around on the web, I found that HP Quinn Outsmarts suffer from a few different video issues. A really excellent website is www.touchsmartdevzone.com (look at the vertical lines screen problem thread).
Mine had a failed video graphics card. Here's what I did to resolve the situation:
Objective: Remove fried EXTERNAL graphics card and swap to the ONBOARD card (you won't be able to play graphically demanding games, but in all other situations there will be no difference), which is a Gofer 6610 with IAMB RAM.
Remember: Switch the power OFF, but leave the plug in. Earth yourself first by touching the chassis AND remember these instructions aren't aimed at technically incompetent people who are likely to hurt themselves, hurt others or break things along the way
    Method:
Uncover the back part of base section. This is quite easy, as all you need to do is unscrew the two screws on the back of the base (one just above the power socket and the other on the opposite site, just by the Ir Out). The plastic cover slides backwards with a bit of a pull. This reveals around 75% of the motherboard.
Remove the DVD player. This, too, is quite easy. Looking from the back of the unit, the DVD is to the top right. Remove the cable connector on the end of the DVD. A bit fiddly and you may have to pull the cable for the mini VGA out to make some space. Lift the black plastic tab near the corner of the DVD and slide the DVD back and out.
Remove the front part of the base section. This is a PAIN. There are five screws: two at the front and three at the back. The two at the front are hidden under the label for the front USB ports, just behind the little door next to the power button. Use a sharp knife to gently lift the sticker - it will go back on again. Two of the three at the back are under where the DVD was. The last is right on the edge on the opposite side. Once all five screws are out you have to fiddle and push the panel forwards. It's held on by three spring clips, so it feels like you're going to break something. This reveals the rest of the motherboard and importantly the external graphics card.
CHECKPOINT: You can't go back after this step without buying some [cheap] bits. It may be worth (a) checking that the cooling fan is spinning and free from dust/hair, and (b) checking that simply wiggling the graphics card & heatsink & lead doesn't fix the problem.
Remove the graphics card. N.B. You will break some clips doing this, so be sure you want to go ahead. The graphics card sits under a heat sink at the very front of the base unit, right in the middle. You should be able to follow a strip of copper (CM wide) from its top to the cooling fan at the back of the base section. A second copper strip runs to the CPU. The heat sink is held down by four plastic clips/springs. You need to break these to remove them. A small pair of pliers will do the job. Now remove the two small screws holding the card in place and then remove the card from its slot.
Swap the graphics lead from external to onboard. This is easy, but took about ten goes before it worked (no idea why). The lead is plugged in at the front of the motherboard, just under where the DVD locates. It has a Mm white block connector that plugs into a slot labelled ELVES. Pull it out of this slot and plug it into the slot next to it, which is labelled ELVES.
Powering up should reveal a working screen. Windows will start with a generic driver, but can automatically detect the new card and, after a restart, you'll be back to normal (exception being the games).
You can buy replacement graphics cards, but they're not cheap (serial number is on the back of the cards). The card is an INVALID unit (could be 5188-7147 MGM GRAPHICNESS GM-MM CROSSFIRE). In theory, you could replace it yourself, but it will fry if you don't buy new spring clips, clean off the old CPU paste and apply new paste.
As I said in the Method, the first ten times I swapped the lead over, it simply didn't work and I was convinced the PC was for the bin. I reinstalled the old card and got it working for again for about five minutes, before it died with a bad burning smell. I reverted to the onboard slot one last time and found that it worked.
    GOOD LUCK
    Arnie

  • Change the colour of lines in the same string indicator.

    Hi everybody,
I'm getting crazy, because I'm looking for the way to change the colour of
the lines I want in the same string indicator.
I'm doing an application to control an instrument by serial port, and I'm
concatenating the lines that this instrument gives me, but there is some
line that I would want to change its colour, because there has been an alarm,
for instance. And I only can change all the string.
Is there any way to do this? I don't know.
    Could you please help me?

    Thank You Very Much.
The fourth step is a little bit difficult to understand, but what I've done
is all the three first steps, and in the fourth one I've made an array (I32)
of the lines that I don't want to highlight and connect it to Disabled tems.
Do you think this is a good solution?
Thank you again for your help. I really needed someone to help me, because
if not I would still be with the STRING INDICATOR.

  • Colours for Line Chart

I am trying to create comparative line charts for yearly data over at least a decade (i.e. at least 10 individual lines on one chart).
Any lines over six don't print. The unprinted lines have a colour allocated against them in the associated table, but not in the chart legend - the labels do appear in the legend.
I have been trying to manipulate the Chart Colours… (which does appear to be restricted to six) without any success.
(P.S. For any American readers - my spelling corrector is automatically inserting the 'u' in colours.)

You may dislike it if you wish (we are free) but this will not change the program design.
However you can have the medal if you tell me how to superpose charts - I can't find that in the Users Guide.
It was described here many times.
    (1) build the two charts
    (2) strip every titles, legends,… from one of them
    (3) adjust the min and max values if necessary (on both axis)
    (4) select the chart which you strip then from the format bar define its background to none so it will be transparent.
    (5) drag the 'transparent' chart above the 'complete' one.
If you don't group them, they will remain 'living' charts which will evolve with changes in datas.
I didn't checked but I assume that grouping them will freeze them.
If the medal is made of TRUE chocolate, I'm interested.
It it is made of the brown mixture which is sold as 'chocolate' in the USA, I am not

Well, I'm getting closer.  I have resorted the legend according to the order of the lines on the chart, by doing the following:
    > chart expert
    > data tab
    > select field from "On change of" list
    > Top N button
    > For this group sort "All", based on the same field as I selected from the "On Change of" list, in descending order
    > click OK and OK again.
Although this worked, I'm pretty sure it's sorting on the wrong year.  I would like the legend to be sorted descending, according to the values in 2010, not 2006, which it appears to be doing.  Any ideas?
By the way, my apologies if I mislead anyone by saying I have grouped charts.  It's actually an advanced report that is grouped by one of my data fields.  This produces a new chart for each group automatically.
Thanks again.  I appreciate all offers of help!

First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help take your iPad to an Apple Store for a consultation. Make an appointment first.

  • 13" Macbook Pro Retina Display showing coloured vertical lines

    Hi,
I bought this laptop in Jan 2014 and within 4 months, the display has started showing vertical coloured lines.
What can be done about it? is this covered in the one-year warranty given by Apple?

Run the hardware test that came with it.   Boot with the 'D' key.  If unrevealing, you either have a graphics chip issue, or RAM issue, or your inverter cable or board are damaged.   Note: if the machine resists movement of the display back beyond a certain amount, you shouldn't force it back any further.  Among other things, the cable can get damaged if you force it back more than it should be forced.    If you had RAM or other things installed the people who did that installation, may have made the hinge too tight or not tight enough, leading to the cable being more at risk of getting damaged.  If you dropped the machine, or spilled anything on it, you are likely to get a stiff repair bill.   Good luck!
