Colour peeling off please help!!
Hiii I just brought an iTouch 5th gen a few months ago........and noticed today that the blue colour has been slightly chipped off at the bottom...its still in the warranty period....wat should i do ???? please help

Hi When you change your iPad, even if its off it will, turn on when you connect, to charger Check lightining port for any bits. Do a Reboot press &hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo This may help. Cheers Brian

Connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes.
Click Restore on the Summary pane if iPad is visible in iTune -

Try connecting the iPod to its syncing computer and restoring the iPod.
If you can't restore, see if resetting the iPod will allow a restore:

Found this solution in another thread, what you want to do is go into the Nike Fitness thing, go to run, go to Spoken Feedback and set it to off. This should fix your problems.

The only way to locate any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.

Did you try to reset by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?

Iphone 5 - Black colour peeling off
Dear All,
I have brought an iPhone 5 black colour from Mumbai (India), few months back (Still under warannty).
Off late I have been observing that iphone body clour is being peeled off..Overall iPhone looks ugly because of this. We can see a lot of white sopts on phone and it looks as if the phone is 2-3 years old.
I had logged an complain with Apple support, who suggested me to show the phone to Authorized service center in Mumbai.
Apple authorized service center in Mumbai (Rahul Commerce) kept phone my phone for a week and later infomred me that nothing can be done, this is a known fault.
My question to readers and Apple is if this is a known defect what is the solution? Has anyone else faced similar issues and what action has been taken.
I want to take this matter with higher ups at Apple, every penny paid should be worth it. Besides Apple is known for its perfection, which is missing here.
Would be great if I am helped with escalation matrix - E:mails where I can write to seeking an answer in Apple.

my iphone 3gs died and now it wont make it past the apple logo screen so i put it in recovery mode and hooked it up to my itunes on my home computer now it will say do you want to restore this iphone i click ok but then after it exctracts the software then starts to restore the screen goes black and it shuts off then 10 seconds later it turns back on it wont make it past extracting software please help me im getting really mad plaease help. it wont restore my phone and the error message 1611 come up i dont get it.. also the lock button on my iphone is broken and only works when i squeeze the topo of the iphone together so i cant put it in DFU mode
Here is what you should do turn the device on hold the home button and the power button until the device turn off keep holding and when the device reboots release the power button but hol the home button until it shows the iTunes logo then restore it

SMASHED IPHONE 5C AND COLOURFUL SCREEN! PLEASE HELP!

I dropped my iPhone 5C a couple of weeks ago and it smashed but the screen was still working fine. Today, i took it out my pocket and the screen has gone funny colours; red/grenny with lines. I tried slapping the back but nothing worked and the screen is np longer working at all.

Please help I just bought this Ipod used and didnt know it was stuck on this screen. As i said up there , i have lost my ipod touch 5th generation today. worst day ever. im 14 and i paid for it with my own money. $317!! i was so proud of myself. so i went to the mall and i put it in a bag and got home and went to the park behind my friend's house. now im not sure if i brought it with me to the park (dont think so) or it fell in my friend's room after i came home from the mall. but i seriously can not find it and im REALLY sad. i have been balling my eyes out throughout the whole day and me and my five friends including my parents and my friends mom have been looking for it. i heard something about telling the police or something and they would help?? i'm not sure about that. cause why would they wanna help a 14 year old girl find an ipod touch when theres other very important matters. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

Is the wifi optoin greyed out? If so, go to Settings>General>Reset and reset nerwork settings. You will need to reenter any wifi passwords you had previously saved. If that dosn't work, backup the phone and restore it http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 this will walk you through all that. Just make sure you setup your phone as new and test the wifi before restoring from backup.
