  • IWeb wont change headings

I am using the water colour templates and am using about three pages with photos.I am changing the headings in the default page from My summer holiday to another title. The titles change on the first page but on the second and third photo pages , the heading still reads My summer holidays.
Is this a fault with the templates or does iWeb only allow you to use one page on a website for photos.

You have to change each one individually. Or Duplicate the page that you have set up the way you like.

  • Why can't I colour code my tracks / instruments in a Logic Pro Template?

    Hi,
I'm trying to create my own Logic template using an existing example template I found online.
In this template, I want to be able to colour code all of my instruments / tracks so that each time I load my template, all the tracks will be set to specific colours (i.e. all kicks are dark blue, hats are light blue, synths are purple, bassline red, etc etc...)
I've read that you can do this in the mini view menu (View > Configure Track Header > then tick 'Track Colour Bars') then you just select the desired colours for each track, and when you use this template again all these colours will be set.
You can see the menu settings here ('Track Colour Bars' selected):
I've done this with no problems on a completely new project (see image A below) but when trying to do it on this template I downloaded, the colours are not changing (see image B below)
IMAGE A - Configure track header on a blank project
IMAGE B - Configure track header on a existing project template
Does anyone have any idea what might be overriding the colour settings on the template (IMAGE B)? As you can see, I have been able to colour the actual midi but it will  not colour the actual track.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was having problems with this for a while. Logic Pro used to let you color they regions and the track at the same time. Now you have to color the track first then click, Option (Alt for PC keyboards) +Shift+C this changes the color of the regions on the track to the same color as the track. Hope this helps!

  • Adding new text in SHC HTML template with different colour

    Hi Gurus,
We are using SRM5.0 Server 550 and SP14 and classic scenario.
Is it possible to change the colour of a newly added text in Shopping cart HTML template?
I mean we have a requirement to add a new text in HTML template of shopping cart and with a different colour so that it woulod be highlighted whenever users try to shop something.
Can anyone let me know the pros and cons of such a thing, if later on they upgrade to SRM7.0 and its feasibility?
    Regards,
    Teja

    Hi,
You can enhance/modify the HTML template.
SRM 7.0 does not use ITS HTML template. So SRM 5.0 is the last version using ITS HTML template and no impact for upgrading to SRM 7.0.

    to install the theme go
    Menu
    Tools
    Themes
Select the theme and select apply

Right click Registry, point New registry Item, choose Update Action.
    3.
Modify the Background color: HKCU/Control Panel/Colors/Background

  • Change default colours in quiz template

    Hi,
I'm using the Flash quiz templates to make some quizzes.
Can anyone tell me how to change the colour of the message
text AFTER an option has been selected. I can change the colour of
the 'Make a selection' text but once the selection has been made
(ie the option box checked) the default blue is used for the
correct answer text and the default red is used for the message
text. I'd like to make them the same colour as the rest of the text
I am using in the quiz.
    Thanks very much.

Here's how to have your templates available in the "File New From Template" in Adobe Illustrator for Windows.
    What you need to have
    Administrator access to your machine.
    What you need to know
The default directory for Adobe Illustrator templates is here (for CS5.1)
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5.1\Cool Extras\en_US\Templates
The default Windows security doesn't allow shortcuts to be created directly under that directory.
You can, however, create the shortcut indirectly!
    What you need to do
    In Summary
Create one (or multiple) folder shortcut(s) in the default Illustrator template directory.
    In Detail
    Open Illustrator
Select File -> New From Template
Drop down the "Look in" drop-down, note the directory:C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5.1\Cool Extras\en_US\Templates
Open a Windows Explorer, and navigate to that directory
Open another Windows Explorer, and navigate to the directory where you keep your templates.
Right-click-drag your folder from the second Explorer (your directory) to the first Explorer (default templates) and drop.
Select "Create shortcut" from the right-click popup menu that appears when you "drop" (release the mouse button).
Windows will display a message "Shortcut cannot be created here, do you want to create it on the desktop".
    Select Yes.
Move the directory shortcut to the Illustrator to the first Explorer (default templates directory)
Windows will ask for Administrator permissions.
    Select Yes.
You can right-click on the template shortcut and rename it without the " - Shortcut" suffix; you'll have to grant Administrator permissions for that as well.
After completing these steps, your template shortcut will appear properly and you can select it.  Happy designing!

  • Where have my templates and colour palette gone?

I had a number of tailor-made presentation templates in Keynote, along with my dedicated colour palette, which I need for making client presentations.

Does anyone know how I can recover them?
    Thanks.

Mine are gone too, what the heck?!

  • Changing colour of Apple templates

    Hello,
Just wondering if it possible to change the colour of an existing Apple template on DVD SP????????
    Message was edited by: bofester77

Yes, it would be a modification, and if you caused damage doing it, warranty wouldn't cover it.
But if your hard drive, memory, logic board failed... these are likely not to be caused by the screen modification, so they'd still be covered.
Again, the warranty, paraphrased slightly, says 'does not cover damages caused by unauthorized service or unauthorized modification'.
Some products have a sticker over their screws, clearly stating 'warranty void if this sticker is damaged or removed'. Apple has no such stickers, and no such wording in the warranty document. On something like a computer, it would be extremely impractical to implement measures like that.

  • "Elegant" template - Select header / navigation bar colour ??

    Hey all,
I'm currently working on an iWeb website for my wedding. We chose the "Elegant" template (the one where you have different coloured headers for different page templates).
Since our colours are some kind of retro brown and pink, I would like to have the pink header on every page (that includes the top header and the pic behind the navigation menu). However, iweb forces me to use a certain coloured header based on a new page. Since I didn't want to mess with the iweb interface, I decided to publish my website on a folder on my harddrive, overwrite the coloured hearders files with the pink version, using the same name (as a consequence, I have a pink header named "xxxxxyellowtop.png" and "xxxxxxyellowbottom.png for example). Thus, the website displays the right colour on every page. I then use a FTP app to publish it on the internet.
When I update the content of a page then publish the website on my harddrive again, it keeps the header files I modified, so that works very well. However, on some updates (I guess when I make a change to the navigation menu), iWeb overwrites the modified header file and I have to do the same operation all over again.
Is there anyway for me to have that pink header on every page of my website, without having to do some trickery ?

That's the problem with most of the templates, they can't be modified easily or at all. However, there is some code that you can add to change the color of the navbar area. Don't know if it will do what you want but you can certainly try. You have to publish the changes before the color change can be seen.
See this demo page: Change Navbar Text and Background Color. And guess who gave us the code? Wyodor.

  • Problem changing colour on standard template

I'm really new to Motion, so please don't get to advanced!
I'm using the satin template for titles, the standard colour is blue, but I want it to be red/dark red. How do I do this as easy as possible?
    Thanks!

It's actually a photographed bit of media, so there's no "color" box. However, you can add an HSV filter and adjust the hue...

  • Possible To Change The Colour Of A Theme Template For A Book - Aperture

    Hi
I am using Aperture 3 and would like to make a photo book for a recent trip, combined with including the text of a blog I wrote during the journey.
I like the journal theme that now exists in Aperture theme layouts, but I'd like to change the "bark" colour to a specific yellow that was used for all of the promo literature for the event. Is it possible at all, or am I limited to the few colours on the dropdown list?
If it isnt possible, do you have any other ideas about how else I could achieve this? I have looked at some of the plug ins available and can only see a few that are either too "upmarket" for the job at hand, or also dont allow to change the background to a specific rgb colour.
    Any ideas anyone?
    Thanks!
    Andy

    .
0* Proceed at your own risk *0
There may be a much easier way to do this.
The color information is stored in separate plists for the large and extra-large books. The plist files are at, for example:
    +/Applications/Aperture.app/Contents/Resources/Book Themes/Photo Journal/Extra Large/Backgrounds+
You can edit the plist to show whatever color you want.

  • Icon + Master Template colours not matching

    Hello:
I created an icon image using photoshop to match the colour of our SharePoint site but when I upload it to the site it shows up a different colour. I have tried saving it 'for web' but still looks different. See below. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please
note: I am a SharePoint 'newbie'.
    Thanks!
    Bri

Saving it for web only changes the format, not the colour.
Looking at the page, you have two different colours
    Image shade of red: #D30606
    Page shade of red: #B4100F
Try amending the banner.jpg with #B4100F and uploading again.  Do a refresh (not from cache) and see how it works.
