Column browser at left hand side?

In 'Song' view, I prefer the Column Browser to be at the left hand side, as it used to be on (itunes 10?)
At itunes 11 the column browser is at the top
It takes me longer to scroll to the item I want as the column browser has less depth (due to the horizontal split in the screen), and it keeps jumping back to the top if I am ripping a cd at the same time
Is there a way to get it back to the left hand side...............much more user-friendly in my view.

According to the requirement , there are 2 Material Numbers ,1 of them is used for Compounding,which is not required in the Report,but as it is used for Compounding ,we need to place that in the rows.
We have put tat in "NO DISPLAY" mode,but Material Number appears twice under the Rows column, on the left hand side of the screen, in the Portal when we execute the Report.How Can we have to display only 1 Material Number on the left hand side of the screen?

the left hand side of the screen is reakky vague....you should be more specific...
Probably you need to filter out the compounding characteristics in the global filter area.

How can I return to a previous version of Numbers? Or how can I have all my sheets show on a column on the left hand side, as in the previous version?

I updated my Numbers for Mac only to find out that there are several changes that make it less appealing for me so far (and I don't think it's only the learning curve). Questions: a) can I somehow edit the location of where I can find all the sheets (right now they are on top of the page, and you can't see all of them listed at quick glance but must scroll/arrow through them) I have in that spreadsheet? In the previous version they were all easy access on the left hand side.
Or b) can one go back to a previous version of a program somehow?

On my machine I just hit shift-command-j (the keyboard shortcut I assigned in System Preferences) and a list of the sheets in the current document pops up:
I type a number from the list and jump immediately to that sheet. The hands never have to leave the keyboard.
(This particular document had a sheet named for each month. But the sheets in your document automatically will be listed instead.)
This is done via a Jump to Sheet Automator Service (Dropbox download). To install just doubleclick the .workflow package and (if needed) click 'Download Anyway' in System Preferences > Privacy & Security.
Installation will cause a new item to appear in your Numbers > Services menu. Then, if you want a keyboard shortcut, go here in System Preferences and add one:
You can rename or remove the service by holding down the option key in Finder and choosing Go > Library > Services. You can also view the AppleScript contaned within the service by opening the .workflow package in Automator.
Note, also, that in Numbers 3 you don't have to use those left-right arrows upper right to slowly scroll left-right to the sheets that are out of view. Just move your cursor up to the "band" with the "tabs" and drag left or right. That's much faster than using the arrows.

My Page column on left hand side is linking pages (yellow shown around all 7 pages) 1-7 of a 20 page document and I want to delete page 7 only, how do you unlink all ofthese pages?

because i have duplicated a doc and am now making volume 2 essentially i will work around some of the things i did to the last doc
i clicked on several pages and the section break was lit up for me to click and this has helped break it up into smaller sections although like pages 6&7 are now joined, guess i gotta do some more editing

When clicking a link normally - a new tab would open, but in this version a new window opens and there are 2 blue bars - the bar at the top of the browser and on the left hand side is a orange firefox button - Next time i start firefox it crashes!!!

This window looks weird: there are 2 blue bars(the upper blue bar - normally there is 1, with the current page name and - Mozilla Firefox written in white inside of the bar) plus in the 2nd bar there is an orange firefox button, on the left hand side.
I have already asked this question and was adviced to start in safe mode - this did not help either.
Please help me quickliy, it is really annoying.

Where is the iPhoto library stored and how can I browse to it in Finder? The "Photos" option is not showing up on the left hand side.

I created an app using Automator to batch resize my photos. When I take photos with my iPhone 4s the resolution is so big I can't upload them to a web site, so I can select all the photos in an event and resize them down. It's too time consuming to open each one in Preview and resize it manually. This little app works perfectly!
Here's the only thing I'd like to change - when the app starts up it asks which photos I want to resize. I'd love it to default to the iPhoto library so I can choose the most recent event. But I can't for the life of me find it! Normally there's a choice on the left hand side that says Photos and in the automator finder window, it's not showing up. I've looked through all the folders I can think of and can't find it.

You are not using iPhoto properly and are in danger of losing your photos
iPhoto is a SQP database application and there are NO user servicable parts in the database (by default the iPhoto library) It is extremely important that you NEVER make any changes of any sort to the content (or structure) of the iPhoto library
The only safe (and suppoprted) way to resize photo is to select them and export using the various esize options in teh export dialogue and use those resized photos - this is a bathc process and does not involve Preview nor does it involve seperate processing for each photo

I was wondering in FI, if its possible to view and print balance sheet report with assets on left hand side and liabilities on right hand side, meaning side by side. I tried really hard in FGI5 and GRR2, but coulnt succeed.

No, it's not possible to have 2 main windows. It will let you activate the form but will run into dump.
If invoice details on left and delivery details on right are one on one then you can create one table with separate columns for each having all the details in one internal table. If not there could be other work arounds depending on your requirement.

F4 Help icon is being displayed left hand side

         I'm using explicit search help for the field WBS Element in one of the Ztable. In maintenance screen of this table the F4 help icon is being displayed on left hand side instead of right side of the field. Please help me with your suggestions and what might be the problem.

I used that WBS field as one of the field in ztable. When i want to maintain data or display the contents of this ztable, F4 help of WBS element column is shown left side.
      I try showing that in figure format.

Missing numbers on left hand side, which allow me to move songs around

This has happened before and i was able to fix it but it's been so long that i've forgotten and i decided this might be quicker than trying to figure it out myself, since it took forever the last time, lol
When i'm looking at music that is sitting under the "Purchased" icon under the "Store" heading...the left hand side column have numbers in it which allow me to move the songs around in any order i want them. I had them set up under my main library under iTunes 6 but when i updated to 7 i lost them all and now i can't drag and drop the songs into the order i want to hear them if i'm hitting play on the first song and listening in the order i put them for however long i choose to listen.
Now i've got my ipod playing 14 hours a day at work and i want to listen to my music in the order i want. However, when i'm looking at my music under my ipod within itunes, i don't have the numbers on the left hand which allow me to move the music around to my liking. What i now have on my ipod are songs done alphabetically per song name which is NOT what i want.
When the numbers disappeared from the left hand column, i lost the ability to drag my songs around.
Help Please, anyone!

nm, i figured it out for myself. Let me just say that having to make a playlist when the music you listen to is all right there on your ipod is about ********!! WHY would you have to make a playlist with the SAME music that is in your main music file just so you can move the music around?!?!?! Completely Stupid!

Having two main windows on left hand side and Right hand side of the form

I have a requirement in SMARTFORM where the required output will be a single form design, approximately A3 in size, split by invoice details on the left side and delivery details on the right side.
As the Invoice details and the deilvery details will have multiple line items
I am planning to create two MAIN window one for the Invoice on the Left hand side and the other for the delivery on the Right hand side of the form.,
Will this work or is there any other solution to do the same .

How do I move my tabs back to the left hand side of the screen?

Until today, all of my open tabs have appeared in a top to bottom column running down the left hand side of my screen, which works great.
When I logged in a few minutes ago, the tabs appeared for the first time in a horizontal row running across the bottom of the screen. I would like to reposition the tabs list to its original orientation and location. How do I do that?

That is not a built-in option in Firefox, you must have an add-on that has added that capability. There are several add-ons that can move the tab bar, check your installed add-ons to see if one of them has that option.

What happened to the ability to open your bookmarks on the left hand side of the screen and scroll thru them like on IE?

In older versions of firefox, I could open the bookmarks on the left hand side of the screen, and they would stay open when i clicked on one of them, and i could use it to open multiple tabs. How do i do that in Firefox 5? I do not like the bookmark toolbar.

The bookmarks toolbar no longer displays by default & they seem to be encouraging use of the bookmarks button or bookmarks menu. The bookmarks sidebar is still available if you know the shortcut as above. There is also the bookmarks library, now under show all bookmarks, rather than organise/organize bookmarks. ( Also it is possible with a simple chrome command in the location bar to open the library as a tab enter

Home page initially loads to left hand side

When I initially start the Firefox browser (very slow by the way) my home page, which is iGoogle, always loads to the left so that I cannot ready the left hand side of the page. Refreshing solves the problem.

Sounds like a problem with CSS files that are blocked by a Firefox extension or security software.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Hi I have an ipod shuffle which worked well on my old pc but since i have tried to link it with my new laptop I cant get it to sinc. I have athorised the device to my laptop so i thought it maybe worth resetting it but all the info I have read tells me that to reset my ipod i need to open i tunes and on the left hand side in the 'source panel' i will find my ipod listed but when i open itunes i do not have a source panel so i cant reset it. i have spent days trying to get this problem sorted and am about to throw the thing away. I have tried to manually sinc the thing, i have installed and reinstalled the latest version of itunes, i have restarted my laptop but i dont know what to do next. any help would be very much appreciated. However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause
