Column view in Finder does not display image dimensions

Image dimensions display a -- when browsing in column view. If I view info on the image it appears. If I move off the highlighted image file and go back it disappears again. I have looked into the spotlight solution and do not have any folders listed under Privacy. I am running 10.7.4 and all updates are current.

Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences folder and trash this file:
com.apple.finder.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You may have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)

Finder does not display icon for word / excel in list view

Hi,
I got a new macbook air, with Yosemite pre installed. I copied over all my files (from my old macbook using a USB drive) and next I installed MS office for mac.
For some reason Finder does not display the correct excel of word icon in list view (I set preview thumbnail to NO in view options), but it it displays the generic file icon.
It appears to be very random, as some files do display the icon and others do not. It also appears to have nothing to do with the doc/docx xls/xlsx variations.
Also some of my parallels icons do not display correctly in list view.
When I open a INFO panel, it does show the correct icon. Example below:
Any body know how to reset / fix this ?

Safari on my account does not display images when you open a picture.

I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed. Safari on my account does not display images most of the time when you open a picture like (www.example.com/example/example.jpg or any other format). If the image does not display, I can drag from the corner, it displays the image. However, pdf does not work at all. I have to choose open in Preview to view the pdf file. I can even show the example:

Hi all the real problem was this...
The issue was that the wee rubber eye piece around the viewfinder had slipped out of its seat slightly and was covering the sensor for the LCD. I Just checked the rubber eye piece bit pushed right down till it clipped into place and now not obstructing the LCD sensor as the picture displays both with the LCD auto off enabled or disabled !! simple thing but a massive trap !

"View Selected Item" does not display

I'm using RoboHelp7 out of the Technical Communication Suite.
When I'm working on a topic and select the
View Selected Item button, the topic does not display. When
I first tried yesterday, nothing happened (IE didn't open and there
was nothing in my tray). I contacted Oversea's support and was
informed that there wasn't an incident for this occurance. I was
instructed to uninstall and reinstall RoboHelp.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the applications and the button
still doesn't work; however, this time there is an hourglass for an
instant before not producing any results.
The button doesn't work with anything that I've created or
with the example projects (Clownfish School). Any help would be
greatly appreciated. I'd hate to have to regenerate the project
just to look at a quick change.

PS CC does not display images

I use (hope to) PS CC in combo with LR and Windows 8. When I select right click in LR and edit in PS CC, PS loads but does not display the image. If I look in PS under recently opened files, the file imported from LR shows. If I initiate the opening of the file from PS, it does not display. If I initiate the opening of any image file from CC, it does not display. What is the problem and how do I work around it??? Thank you.

Update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website. If you can't update the driver for some reason, then turn off the GPU features in Photoshop's preferences until you can get a working version of your video card driver.

The new version of Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 does not display images in the flash movie.

In the new version of Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 the images are not displayed. In previous versions they are displayed. Tested on several computers. This is not a local problem. This is a problem of Adobe. The bad news is that the early versions are very hard to find and reinstall it.
Many different systems tested. And all browsers.
Now there is no big image.

Crystal Reports Image box does not display images.

i have CR report which has a Imagebox to display images from db table. i am storing the images in a table as path. in my dev machine when i load the .aspx page with the crystal report it shows the image in the box but when i run it from the web server the image does not show.
even from the .rpt file i get the image and all data.
anyone know how can i get this working?
the images are stored in a mapped network drive and the version of cr is XI R2.

My 8530 does not display images in the browser

My bb 8530 a few weeks ago suddenly stopped displaying images in the browser. Browser options are set to "display images". I've power cycled many times, even reset and wiped, but still no images in browser. How can I fix this? Thanks.

it seems that MovieClipLoader class not returning onLoadInit event. I use to add a fadein function on loadInit to fade in the loaded images. with the latest Flash PLayer versions this is not activated so you cannot see the loaded images.
I have tested this on 3 different systems and the problem is the same. I have not updated my FP for IE. There, the older FP still works well.

Thunderbird does not display images in messages

I've done the recommendation for changing mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image to "user set" "boolean" and "false" but still don't get images. I'm using Thunderbird 24.3.0, and use Firefox 28.0 as my default browser. I can't find anything else in help or options or tools that addresses this. This happened recently, I used to always either get the images or the choice box for downloading remote images, but don't get that anymore either. Should I download and re-install Thunderbird? If so, how do I ensure that my saved messages and address book is saved intact?

Does not display image

I am using the vision software, Labview 2011 windows XP with a USB wbcam. I use the WebCam to test the software, create an installation file, and run it on a different machine. This machine has an IEEE 1394 Basler camera.
The program seems to work without any problem with the run-time system. On the USB system, the image never displays properly if I have a property node to read information from the camera. If I remove it, it works just like the IEEE 1394 camera.
The enclosed VI seems to demonstrate the problem. If you run it as is, it will not display the image. If you stop the program and set the property node to false, it will display the image properly.

The USB webcam seems to update the VideoMode to value of 4 (0 before). FrameInterval stays 0.
No errors appear during the run. When you terminate, the following errors appears.
The firewire camera, Bassler does not have the problem. It is the USB webcam that has this issue.

Safari does not display images

Yesterday - suddenly- Safari stopped displaying images on any web page. Fo example on Apple.com the picture of the large Apple does not come up and so on. Should I re-install Safari- download again? Just to check the images DO display in Explorer which I had to use to post this.

I had exactly the same trouble. I followed these instructions--emptied the cache and ditched the plist file, and when I restarted, they were all there again. I've been suffering with no images for a long time--I wish I would have done this sooner--it was easy!

Finder does not display my external drives as devices

When connecting my Kindle 2 to my imac (Lion), the kindle does not come up in Finder as an external device. However, I know it's there because when I pull up Disk Utility, there it is as a 3.24 GB Kindle Internal Storage Device.
As a matter of fact, none of my external drives show...I have a MyBook and anothers external hard drive connected for backups (all show in DU as well).
I checked Preferences in Finder and Hard Disks and External Disks are both checked to "Show these items on sidebar" but do not display.
What am I missing here?

Oracle Enterprise Manager does not displaying images

Hi folks, I installed Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.0 and after that I did apllied patch 10.1.3.4. The patch was applied successfully, but when I invoke Enterprise Manager all images does not rendered. After analisying I could see that "ascontrol" application has two virtual-path pointing two real-path but it does not exists into file system. Enterprise MAnager console does not load CSS file and images because it.
I download OC4J 10.1.3.4 standalone version and after configuration I access Enterprise Manager via browser, but OC4J standalone works fine.
Anyone can help me ???

Firefox and Twitter and Finder does not display

I have recently upgraded to Lion recently. The Transition was way rougher compare to the Snow Leopards.
I am running a MBP 15", 2009 Mid-2009 version.
It has 2 graphic cards on board, 9400m and 9600GT.
When I first launched Lion, I was quite shock that my Firefox and Twitter do not display at all.
After tweaking the system preferences, I realized that when the 9400m graphic card is activated, there isn't any display on several of the Applications,
including the popular ones like Finder, Twitter and Firefox. The issues are fix when I switch to my 9600GT graphic card.
Do any of you have the same issues that I am facing?
I do hope Apple resolves these issues quickly.
As using my 9600GT graphic translate to very bad battery life and a very warm laptop! I am not happy at paying $29.99 for something that breaks.

I've had the same problem. I've done a clean re-install on a reformatted drive and the problem was gone. If you can do a clean reinstall I recommend you give it a shot.

Movieclips loader loads png but does not display image in ie

hello, i have created a static class to deal with the loading
of images, it works great. yesterday, i found an issue: i try to
load png files (those pngs are generated with quasimondo's bitmap
exporter), they do load, but they are not displayed in ie.
it worked until recently. is there some specification about
the png that i have to make sure that the png has? or is there an
issue using the movieclip loader with ie?
i included the actionscript class (save the code in an .as
file), so if you want to test, write only this in the first frame
of your code:

that image will load, but in the context of my flash file

cancel that question. i ftp'd the file to the server again, this time setting the transfer type to binary and the png image comes up
