WebRowSet & com.sun.xml.parser.Resolver error
Hi all,
I have a xml file which is generated by a webrowset on the server and which is read by a webrowset object in an applet with readXml method. I know that the xml is sent in a well-formed format as I checked it in IE6.
I also know that the applet is reading the url correctly. From my searches I have found people refering to chaning the SYTEM_ID property which keeps the location of the DTD file to point to a local copy to avoid lookup problems. I have done this and still get the error.
I have an idea that it may be the way the XML file is being read. (See code below.)
URL url = new URL ("http","localhost",8081,"/getXML.jsp");
HttpURLConnection host =(HttpURLConnection)url.openConnection();
host.connect();
java.io.Reader tmp = new java.io.InputStreamReader(host.getInputStream());
java.io.BufferedReader buf = new BufferedReader(tmp);
webrs.readXml (buf);
Any ideas or pointer appreciated.
TIAHmm. Could you perhaps post the full stack trace and error message from the exception.

Any suggestions please ... I have Lamp installed and running OK on my Arch Guest if that helps.
Many Thanks
WhitetimerI had the same problem and solved it with the help of wiki and woks fine:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Vir … _Additions -
When installation is finished I get an error installing the product. When I run the program, I can't create a new Web Application project, nothing happens when I click on finish.
I thought maybe my download was corrupt so I downloaded it again and the file was the same size (266,5802157 bytes) and I got the same error, so that's not the problem.
Below is my installation log. Help welcome.

RichardHi Richard,
Majority of the time our users come across POST installation startup issues because they downloaded dirty bits. Browsers tend to be buggy in downloading binary data sometimes, so I would suggest trying one of the following:
* Try using the Sun Download Manager to download the release
SDM : http://www.sun.com/download/sdm/
or,
* Try clearing the browser's cache prior to downloading the bits
Another source for these type of issues is low disk space, or bad hardrive sectors on the device being installed on.
What platform are you running on by the way? Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Error installing CCT Adobe Acrobat (H: drive connected)
I got an error installing Adobe Acrobat:
Error H: drive connected.
I disconnected H :drive (WTF) but got the same error.
So I quit out of Adobe Application Manager (apparently lost the download of Adobe Acrobat). Started it again and downloaded Acrobat again and now I get another error:
error 6: can't find web error page (or some similar completely useless error message).This is the error:

When I create an EJB Transport Business Service, after selecting the jar that has the EJB 2.1 artefacts (Remote, Home, etc) the oepe plugin fails and can't continue.
As I understand it seems that there is a problem with the classpath of ant build.xml that oepe creates inside folder /tmp/alsbejbtransport/ to compile the bs and generate the wsdl. I checked if tools.jar is in the classpath (in eclipse) and is included, so I can't figure out wich is the problem.
I found this in Oracle, but not helps solve the problem:
BEA-398120
Error: The WSDL for the typed transport endpoint could not be accessed.
Description
There was a problem retrieving the WSDL from the typed transport service endpoint at the time of service registration
Action

This is the the full stacktrace that shows eclipse.

I tried setting up a clean environment (server, EAR, web project), but haven't been able to re-solve the problem I had with the original project yet. If I could get a starting point to look for how to solve this type of error it would be greatly appreciated!I checked my JDK compliance (1.4) and the installed JREs (Standard VM; WebSphere v5.1 EE JRE; C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere Studio\Application Developer\v5.1.2\runtimes\base_v51_stub\java\jre)
I did notice that it was using the JRE System LIbrary [WebSphere v5.1 JRE] and I changed it to the WebSphere v5.1 EE JRE like I think it should have been...

I reinstalled win2k and since then I cant get my javac prompt to work
The error is :
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/tools/javac/Main
But I can find the java.exe
jar tools, etc.
Is there some version problems associated with this;
I am actually tring to run a compile script
as below:
COMPILE SCRIPT
rmdir/s/q K:\MyProjects\class\com
pause
javac -classpath K:\MyProjects\class;%JAVAC_CLASSPATH%%J2EE_CLASSPATH% -d K:\MyProjects\class @Compiler.txt
pause
This script was working normally before I reinstalled Win2k.
My CLASSPATH , PATH are below and my jdk is installed in K:\jdk1.3.0_02
SystemRoot = K:\WINNT
JAVAC_CLASSPATH:
%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%JAVA_HOME%\lib;%JAVA_HOME%\lib\tools.jar;%JAVA_HOME%\lib\dt.jar;
CLASSPATH
%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%\system32\cmd.exe;JAVAC_CLASSPATH% %J2EE_CLASSPATH%%JRE_HOME%; %MY_PROJECT%\SQLConstant.txt;

%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%\system32\WBEM;%JAVAC_CLASSPATH%;%J2EE_CLASSPATH%;K:\Oracle\bin;K:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.1.7\bin;C:\Inprise\AppServer\bin;K:\Program Files\Sybase\SQL Anywhere 7\win32;K:\Program Files\Sybase\Shared\win32;K:\Program Files\Sybase\Shared\Sybase Central 4.0\java;K:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\BINN;K:\Program Files\Sybase\EAServer4.0\java\lib\easclient.jar;K:\Program Files\Sybase\EAServer4.0\java\lib\easserver.jar;K:\Program Files\Sybase\EAServer4.0\java\lib\easj2ee.jar;K:\BorlandEnterpriseServer\bin;K:\WebSphere\AppServer\bin;K:\Program Files\IBM\MQSeries\bin;K:\Program Files\IBM\MQSeries\Java\Lib;K:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Publish and Subscribe\bin
I cant notice any difference between the old classpath settings.
Could somebody help me out in this issue
Thanks
manojHi Manoj,
I had the same problem.
This is what worked for me:
I'm running Win2k.
So, in C:\WINNT\system32 I found the following files
javac.exe
javaw.exe
java.exe
I removed them all, since I have the jdk pointed in the right classpath in my environment variables.
Once this was deleted. It worked fine!
I hope this helps. -

Edited by: 842717 on Mar 8, 2011 12:16 PMYou are receiving this error because one of the fields being pulled from IdM, exceeds he column limit defined in the GLOBALUSERS database table.
I received this error before because the PRIMARYEMAIL column in the GLOBALUSERS table was defined as [PRIMARYEMAIL] [nvarchar](50).
I went into Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and updated the field to [PRIMARYEMAIL] [nvarchar](100), and then the import worked.
Hope this helps,

Error installing OAM against Sun Directory Server 6.3: No such object (32)
Hi folks,
I'm getting error installing OAM 10.1.4.3.0 (Linux, 64 bit) against Sun Directory Server 6.3. I've followed Oracle troubleshooting doc (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15217_01/doc.1014/e12493/trouble.htm#BABBAAFH), and replaced every occurrence of cn=userRoot with cn=my_company_name inside iPlanet5_oblix_index_add.ldif. I still get the same error "ldapmodify: No such object (32)" for every entry in the file. Has someone managed to get it to work?
Thank you, RomanHi folks,
I got it to work, here're the steps:
1. After loading the schema file, follow the article (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15217_01/doc.1014/e12493/trouble.htm#BABBAAFH, not the doc 552157.1 as it states incorrect info, sorry
Notoriuos) to edit the index file (iPlanet5_oblix_index_add.ldif) and replace all occurrences of "userRoot" with "your_company_name" (which is your ldap suffix without the c=us part as in
o=your_company_name, c=us) using vi command:
:%s/userRoot/your_company_name/g
2. run ldapadd (not ldapmodify! as all but the one last object listed on the dn: line might already exist under cn=config), here's example:
$ ldapadd -x -h your_ldap_host -p your_port -c -f IdentityServer_install_dir/identity/oblix/data.ldap/common/iPlanet5_oblix_index_add.ldif -D "cn=directory manager" -w directory_manager_passwd
3. If done right, you should see smth like this:
adding new entry "cn=obactionname,............... per every entry in the index file
HTH

Hi,
I have implemented a Java class which calls some XML RPC 3.0 proxy methods.
If I test the method input inside a "main ()" method and get the output, it works nice.
The XML RPC 3.0 procy method is also invoked and there is no problem.
However, when I expose this java class as a "web service" and invoke the web service from the JDeveloper integrated console or
even an external test client running on a browser, I get the error mentioned below.
Which setting must be defined in the JDevelopper ( Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.2.0 on :

I found your post because I want to suppress the stack trace in my response of the web service. I put the -Dcom.sun.xml.ws.fault.SOAPFaultBuilder.disableCaptureStackTrace=false parameter in the setDomainEnv.cmd in the bin directory of my domain. Maybe this is also a solution for you.
Cheers Chris

throw new SAXException("Fatal Error encountered");I have seen this error when I'm executing inside one of the (j2ee sun reference implementation) server containers (either web or ejb). I believe its caused by "something" having previously loaded the "sax 1 driver class". In my case, I think the container or server is loading the sax parser from a jar that contains a sax 1 version. If you can, ensure that nothing is loading the sax 1 parser from another jar on your system. Verify that you are loading the sax parser from a jar containing the latest version so that you get the sax 2 compliant parser. Good luck!

iTunes 10.6.0.40 will not open on Windows 7, no error messages come up. Have tried un-installing it and re-installing it many times. Please help.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

When I try to install adobe photoshop 13 on my computer it comes up with the following error message " This installer does not support installation on a 64bit windows operating system" error code 6. How to I recify this? TIA
You can try downloading the 64 bit version. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.
