Comb Fields - with specific type of comb field look

I am attempting to make the comb fields as shown in the attached screen capture.  Any thoughts or ideas would be welcome.

Thank you for your answer!
What would I need to do to ensure that the text spacing matches the comb. Are you refering to some type of kerning or spacing?  Fixed font vs Proportional fonts?
Thanks again

  • How to check/count whether child records with specific type exist?

    Hi
    We need to create a BIP report based on data from Siebel.
    In Siebel we have two entities:
    Entity <Mandate> = Parent Business Componet
    Entity <Attachment> = Child Business Component
    (An attachment has a specific type attribute (e.g. “contract”, “appendix” and lot of others…)
    Relationship between Mandate and Attachments is 1-m.
    We need to create a BIP report which displays all Mandates records which do not have at least two Attachments child records (there must be one attachment child record with type=”contract’ and another with type “appendix”). How can we check in BIP whether these child records with a specific Attachment type exist? And if not, display the Mandate in a list....

    Thanks for your help
    Well I'm not sure about the syatax I have to use in order to filter on the field *<GAMDocumentType>*
    The structure of the xml we use is as follows:
    <ListOfBipJbAmlMandateAttachmentReport>
    <JbAmlMandate>
    <ListOfJbAmlAttachment>
    <JbAmlAttachment>
                   <AccntFileName>DocumentPage_713328</AccntFileName>
                   <GAMDocumentType>*contract</GAMDocumentType>
                   <MandateId>1-4C79B</MandateId>
                   <Status>Active</Status>
    </JbAmlAttachment>
    I tried <?for-each:JbAmlMandate[count(./JbAmlAttachment[GAMDocumentType='contract']) > 1 and count(./Attachment[type='appendix']) > 1]?>
    But this returns nothing.
    Many thanks for your help

  • Adding fields with data type "TIMS" to the BP transaction

    hi all,
      This  is Anil regarding the addition of fields to the BP transaction.
    here my problem is for BP transaction I could not find any BADI or screen exit  to add the fields. Even EEWB tool does not allow us to cretate the fields with data type "TIMS". so could you please suggest any other way to add these fields to BP?
    when I enter the values to the time fields in BP transaction, they must reflect in
    BUT000 table also?
    Regards,
    Anil .

    In the physical layer, Column Properties change the data type to int.
    If still problem exists, In the Business Model, write a case statement like
    case when column1=1 then 1 end
    and apply count aggregation on the new calculated column,add the column to presentation table, use that new calculated column for report.

  • How to avoid zeros in output for a field with Decimal type

    Hi Friends
    In a  Report one output field is declared with decimal type.
    Whenver that field is not filled with any values zeros will be displayed in the output.
    I tried to change the data type to char but i am facing some issues in calculations and shwoing only 2 decimal places.
    So is there any way to hide the zeros in the output if we the field is not filled with any value.

    Hi Sandeep,
    If required field type is declared as type p decimals 2 , if for that field in internal table there is no value  - then automatically output will get display in ALV as 0.00.
    To remove 0.00 in the output screen and to be displayed in blank then in the field catalogue add wa_fieldcat-no_zero = 'X'. in that particular field. then if no value for that field then it will display space in the output.
    wa_fieldcat-fieldname   = 'ZQUAN'.
      wa_fieldcat-seltext_l   = 'Quantity'.
      wa_fieldcat-outputlen  = '13'.
      wa_fieldcat-no_out      = ' '.
    wa_fieldcat-no_zero    = 'X'.  wa_fieldcat-hotspot     = ' '.
      wa_fieldcat-key            = ' '.
      wa_fieldcat-do_sum      = 'X'.
      wa_fieldcat-qfieldname  = ' '.
      wa_fieldcat-ref_tabname = ' '.
      wa_fieldcat-just                = ' '.

  • Mail Merge script to replace any blank fields with specific text

    In InDesign Mail Merge I would like to replace any blank fields with specific text. For example if we have four fields (A, B, C & D) to merge, and field A is blank, it would insert field C.
    In essence leaving no blank fields but replacing a blank field with another specific field.
    I have read that inDesign does have Mail Merge limitations but if there is a script that we could run that would solve our problem.
    Please let me know if you can help?

    I take from the lack of response it is not possible to do this in InDesign.

  • Problems to print contacts with specific fields under Maverick.

    I am unable to print contacts with specific, selected fields like `firm´ or `position´under Mavericks. The selected fields will not show up in the printing preview and not be printed at all. Any ideas?

    Thanks, John! It seems you guessed correct, partly at least. I turned some of the problamatic fields off and on again an these are showing up now and I can print them. Great!
    However, I can see the field "firma" (German = company in English) in the previewed sample card but not in the pull down menu "Add Field". That means, I am unable to turn it off/on. The intersting thing: The field is visible and selectable even in the printer dialog were you can select the fields you would like to print but it remains unprintable.
    Again, many thanks, John!

  • Is there a specific type of mic to use with Garage Band?

    Hello,
    Recently I purchased a mini-plug microphone from Wal-Mart to record my first podcast. However, after pluggin it in, I was unable to get and levels in GB or iMovie.
    Is there a specific type of microphone that I need to purchase to record podcasts?

    For ease of use I went with a USB microphone. I started with a headset mic combo from logitek. It was Ok, but I thought I needed something better, so I got a Blue Snowball. It worked great. Super sound quality for the price, and I just had to plug it in, and set my pref in Garageband to accept it as the new input device.

  • Loop at table with unspecified type but with where-condition

    Hi,
    Doing a loop over an internal table with unspecified type and in addition using a condtion may be done as follows: Thereby the
    condition would be "... WHERE parentid EQ i_nodeid" if the type of <it_htab> would be static. However dynamic specification of a component through bracketed character-type data objects is not possible.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <it_htab> TYPE STANDARD TABLE,
                                    <wa_htab> TYPE ANY,
                                    <parentid> TYPE rsparent.
      ASSIGN me->ref_htab->* TO <it_htab>.
      LOOP AT <it_htab> ASSIGNING <wa_htab>.
        ASSIGN COMPONENT 'PARENTID' OF STRUCTURE <wa_htab> TO <parentid>.
        CHECK <parentid> EQ i_nodeid.
      ENDLOOP.
    Since you have to loop over the whole table and to check within the loop whether the condition is fullfilled, this is rather bad for performance.
    Questions: Are there any tricks to do this better?
    Best Regards and Thank you,
    Ingo

    only if you have the upcoming 7.0 EhP2 (Kernel 7.02 or 7.20) the following dynamic where works:
    DATA cond_syntax TYPE string.
    cond_syntax = `parentid = i_nodeid`.
    LOOP AT <it_htab> ASSIGNING <wa_htab>
                           WHERE (cond_syntax).
    in older releases you would have to use program generation to achieve a dynamic where... .

  • Post proft segment and cost center in a sales order with value type 4 in CC

    Hello,
    We have CO-PA activated in SD. When we create the Sales order the field "Profit Segment" is automatically filled (with the characteristics values) and additionally we field manually the cost center.
    The main problem is that when we post in the two CO objects the cost center becomes automatically with value type 11 "Statistical Actual".
    In the end of the month we need to do the Assessments (KSU5) from the invoices created from one cost center to various cost centers but since the cost center in the invoice has "statistical  actual" value type we can't do the assessments.
    Is there any way to post in profit segment and in cost center and the cost center becomes with value type 4 "Actual"?
    Thank You

    Hello,
    Thank You for you answer. I have one more question.
    Is there any way to desactivate the field "Proft Segment" only for a specific document type?
    I've already tried in transaction KE4W and system is not creating now the Profitability Analysis document but this field "Profit Segment" is still  with values so the cost center is still with value type 11.
    I've tried to delete manualy the values in the field Profitability Analysis but system gives me an error related with incomplete data in sales order. I've look in SD customizing and this field is not configured in the incomplete data messages

    Hi Tushar,
    Please note that we can't changes the mandatory sequence of the address format as defined in the country specif address format. We can change the sequence of others fields by line_priority.
    Try to change the address type :
    ADDRESS_TYPE - Address type (from 3.0C)
    There are three types of address:
    Address type '1': addresses of firms or organizations; the address structure which is used in most SAP applications as 'Address'.
    Address type '2': address of a person
    Address type '3': work address, usually the address of a contact person in a company
    Please use T/code "OY01"> Select Country> Example :AU"--> Display --> Select address key and press F1. You will find SAP 's Address format configuration .
    sap help:
    Formatting Routine Key for Printing Addresses
    For printing addresses, there are country-specific routines which in each case copy the correct postal formatting of the address.
    The three-character "Address Layout Key" for the recipient country controls which of the routines available for formatting addresses in the relevant country is used.
    These routines are programmed into the ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM function module.
    They are based on different national and international guidelines and norms, including:
    ISO 11180,
    contracts of the World Postal Union (Seoul 1994),
    international address samples from the World Postal Union
    as well as the available rules of the individual countries.
    Below you will find an overview of the country-specific formats currently implemented.
    Customers can program their own formatting routines using a customer exit. The SZAD0001 SAP enhancement has been defined in the package SZAD for this (-> transaction CMOD).
    General formatting rules
    The following parameters are used depending on the transaction:
    whether the company address (street/house number) or the P.O. Box address is printed if both exist,
    how many lines are available for printing,
    which is the sender country.
    If there are not enough lines, then lines are left out according to a standard sequence.
    The address format depends on whether the sender country is the same as, or different from, the recipient country. The country is always specified from abroad, either as a text name, or as an identification code of up to three characters (license plate code or country key).
    Where the country name is written out in full, it is written in the language of the sender country. If a language is not specified for the sender country, or the sender country itself is not specified, the logon language is used instead.
    Exception: the language for the country code can be explicitly overwritten by a parameter in the print program (e.g. when the country code for customs transit papers is always to be specified in a particular language, such as English). if the "Print country name in recipient language" flag is set in the print program, the recipient language is used.
    Other language-dependent components such as the title and the word 'PO Box' are printed in the recipient language or the recipient country language. If this cannot be determined, the logon language is again used.
    For all formats except Great Britain (006), Japan (013), and South Korea (017), the core of the address is formatted as follows (without empty lines, except for the compulsory empty line:)
    title line (if applicable)
    name block (differs depending on the address type, see below)
    street address or PO Box
                            (compulsory empty line, if applicable)
    city line with postal code
    country code (if applicable)
    The city line and the country name are always printed in upper case for foreign addresses (only for the complete address, not for short forms).
    The name block generally consists of the following:
    "Normal" addresses (address type SPACE and address type 1):
    NAME1
    NAME2
    NAME3
    NAME4
    Personal addresses (address type 2):
    Title of person and name of person
    Business address with department and contact person (address type 3):
    NAME1
    NAME2
    NAME3
    NAME4
    department
    title of person and name of person
    In addresses entered using Business Address Services (central address management) (see Release notes Central Address Management for Release 4.0 and Central Address Management for Release 4.5 ), the street address can comprise several lines (see Print street address), otherwise street and house number are maintained in the Street field.
    Some countries do not have a compulsory empty line (see notes below). The city and district are printed in the city line, connected by a hyphen (exceptions: 004 USA, 006 Great Britain/Ireland, 013 Japan, 015 Germany, 017 South Korea, 019 Denmark), provided that the total length does not exceed 35 characters. If a different city is specified for the PO Box (PFORT), this is used in the PO Box address.
    In all formats which use a country code (currently 001 European standard format 002 Italy, 011 Switzerland and 014 Austria ), the license plate code for that country is used. If this is not maintained, the country key in table T005 is used.
    If the "Print country name in foreign addresses" flag is set for the sender country in table 005, the country code is not used; the country name is printed in the last line of the address.
    Formats 004 (USA), 005 (Canada) and 008 (Singapore) contain a line ('F') for the function of the contact person in the company (if address type = '3'). This line comes immediately after the line 'N' (Name (and title) of the natural person).
    In formats 002 (Italy), 004 (USA), 005 (Canada), 006 (Great Britain), 007 (Brazil) and Australia (009), the REGIO field (Region, State, Province, County) is formatted. For the USA, Canada, Brazil and Australia, the key from table T005S is used; for Great Britain the text name from table T005U.
    In all countries for which no "Address structure key" is maintained, a standard format is used which corresponds to format "010".
    Hope this may help you.

  • Difference between DEclaring Itab with DATA & TYpe Statement?

    HI Friends,
      What is the Difference between Declaring Itab with DATA & TYpe Statement?

    Hi,
    The Statements TYPES and DATA
    Each ABAP program define its own data types using the statement.
    TYPES dtype TYPE type ...
    and declare its own variables or instance attributes of classes using the statement
    DATA var {TYPE type} ...
    Within the program or a class, you can also define local data types and variables within procedures. Local variables in procedures obscure identically-named variables in the main program or class.
    When creating data types and data objects, there are a number of naming convention that also apply for other local program definitions, such as procedures. These are described in detail in the keyword documentation.
    The Additions TYPE and LIKE
    The additions TYPE type and LIKE dobj are used in various ABAP statements. The additions can have various meanings, depending on the syntax and context.
    ·        Definition of local types in a program
    ·        Declaration of data objects
    ·        Dynamic creation of data objects
    ·        Specification of the type of formal parameters in subroutines
    ·        Specification of the type of formal parameters in methods
    ·        Specification of the type of field symbols
    TYPES: BEGIN OF struct,
             number_1 TYPE i,
             number_2 TYPE p DECIMALS 2,
           END OF struct.
    DATA:  wa_struct TYPE struct,
           number    LIKE wa_struct-number_2,
           date      LIKE sy-datum,
           time      TYPE t,
           text      TYPE string,
           company   TYPE s_carr_id.
    This example declares variables with reference to the internal type STRUCT in the program, a component of an existing data object wa_struct, the predefined data object SY-DATUM, the predefined ABAP type t and STRING, and the data element S_CARR_ID from the ABAP Dictionary.
    Reward Points if found helpfull..
    Cheers,

  • JDBC MS Access--- cannot extract entry with null value with data type Meta

    I'm trying to extract a data entry with null value by using JDBC. The database is MS Access.
    The question is how to extract null entry with data type memo? The following code works when the label has data type Text, but it throws sqlException when the data type is memo.
    Any advice will be appreciated! thanks!
    Following are the table description and JDBC code:
    test table has the following attributes:
    Field name Data Type
    name Text
    label Memo
    table contents:
    name label
    me null
    you gates
    Code:
    String query = "SELECT name, label FROM test where name like 'me' ";
    ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery(query);
    while (rs.next())
    String name = rs.getString("name");
    rs.getString("val");
    String label = rs.getString("label");
    System.out.println("\t"+name+"\t"+label);
    catch (SQLException ex)
    System.out.println(ex.getSQLState());
    System.out.println(ex.getErrorCode());
    System.out.println("in sqlexception");
    output:
    C:\Temp\SEFormExtractor>java DBTest
    yet SELECT name, label FROM test
    null
    0
    in sqlexception

    The question is how to extract null entry with data type memo?Okay, what you need to do is this:
    if (rs.getString("val") == null)
      // do something
    }This way, when it's a null value, you can check it first, and then handle it how you want, rather than getting an exception.

  • Dont work 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE' with table type

    Hi Experts ;
    My problem about   'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE' .
    I use intarnal table with Table Type ( with header line ). And 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'  is not working . Field catalog is employ. I dont use 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE' have any problem.

    'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE' expects a flat structure.
    Give the reference of the line type of the table type if you wish to have fieldcatalog as per that..
    Even if you dont use 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE' you can create your own Fieldcatalog..

  • With display type native event is not working in my wd application

    Dear Friends,
    I have few interactive forms created webdynpro components.
    in SFP: formtype: ZCI and inserted the webdynpro script in the layout and interface type is DDIC.
    in Webdynpro: taken IF form UI element and with Enable check box checked(ON) and display type is Native.
    when i run my wd application interactive forms is opening but when i click on button on webdynpro or on enter of input field event is not getting trigger. cursor is showing wait icon and in busymode only.
    if i try with display type as activex it is working fine.
    But i don't want to use type as Activex.
    One more thing initially i have created 2 interative forms with those forms with displya type native is working fine, for new forms only the poblem is coming.
    please let me know how to get rid of this.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh.Gattu

    Hi ganesh,
    i hope you have already followed the process what i mentioned in my question.
    above that some times we are facing this busy mode issues, might be.. there coudl be some problem when we insert the webdynpro script.
    on sfp layout from utilities insert the webdynpro script.
    then sheck the script editor by selecting the data node in hierarchy tab.
    make sur the both event *presave and *formload are filled with some in built script and the language is Java script and Client side.
    then save activate the form and try.
    all the best.
    Thanks,
