Combine some forms in one

Hi All.
I have some forms with same header but rest the forms have own contents and functionality. I thought create dropdownlist with name of the forms and display each form by selecting dropdownlist value. It is simple if need to show/hide textbox or etc. But how it to do with whole forms located on diferent pages? I will appreaciate for sample.
Thanks.

Hi,
I think each form here could be represented as a new 'page', which I think is basically a larger subform. Hence multiple forms, would mean multiple pages in this form. Then from there onwards, use similar functionality as the 'show/hide' textbox, and instead of textbox, refer to the name of these pages instead.

  • Combine forms into one

    I would like to combine 4 forms into one (exactly my boss want to do this;) )
    All 4 have data connection to XML Schema.
    I tried to do this but I cannot create "combo box" to select an option.

    Yes ..I believe it was introduced in version 8.1. You can use a test application that ships with the product that will allow you to test your DDX file. If you look under the adobe/configurationManager/deply folder there is a file called adobe-assembler-ivs.ear. Drop this into your app server deploy folder then you can access the sample bu going to this URL:
    http://localhost:8080/adobe/livecycle/samples/assembler
    You can build and test your DDx files on the fly from here.

  • I have photos I want to group together in one album, but can't do this because some may have the same number. How can I combine them all into one album?

    I have photos I want to group together in one album, but can't do this because some may have the same number. How can I combine them all into one album? I was trying to move several albums onto a USB drive and it stated all other files exist at this location.  They are pictures taken at different times and have the same number I guess.

    In iPhoto albums may contain photos with the same file name - iPhoto handles that just fine
    If you are exporting them to move somewhere else use the sequential file name feature of export to give each file a unique name

  • On a desktop computer you would normally have some form of security software(Norton,AVG etc).Is this also arequirement of one's i pad?

    On a desktop computer you would normally install some form of software security(AVG,Norton etc.) Is this necessary on one's I Pad?

    No (unless you jailbreak your iPad), and there aren't any 'proper' anti-virus or security apps in the app store. You can only download programs onto your iPad from the App Store, so they will have gone through Apple's vetting process.

  • Combining filled forms into a single PDF

    Hello-
    I'm having some trouble combining some documents. I have a source PDF file, 'Service Form', that I use to fill out and save as a separate form by customer. For instance, I open 'Service Form', fill it in and save it as 'Customer A' form when completed.
    Now, if I try to combine 'Customer A' form and 'Customer B' form in to a single PDF, 'Customer B' form gets populated with 'Customer A''s data. In other words, I have two 'Customer A' forms. I have tried many different ways to save and combine them but nothing works.
    I don't want to create a PDF Package, I want a single PDF with multiple instances of 'Customer' forms.
    Anyway, I'm sure this is clear as mud. Any feedback is appreciated.

    You can flatten a file using the flattenPages() JavaScript method. The advantage to flattening is you can use JavaScript in a batch process to automate the process of flattening a large number of files.
    As a test to see how it works, you can open a copy of one of the forms in Acrobat, activate the JavaScript console (Advanced > JavaScript > Debugger), and enter the following in the code window:
    flattenPages()
    and hit CTRL+Enter (with the cursor on the same line as the code)
    and save the resulting modified PDF.

  • Problem more forms in one file

    Hi,
    I have a problem:
    I have made a form (http://www.taxikemperman.nl/Urenbriefje.pdf)
    This is working fine for me, but when I will made more forms and want to combine this into one file than I have a big problem:
    All the forms get the same input!
    How can I combine this files to one and still have the different forms?
    Thanks for your reaction

    You'll probably find that the fields in both forms have the same Name, so will take the same value when combined. In your 2nd or subsequent forms, use the Select Object Tool to show your fields, Right-click to open the Text Field Properties and on the General tab edit the Names so that they are different to the first form.

  • Good day, I have installed Acrobat DC, and would like to combine 2 files. One is excel allready converted to PDF - No problem. The other one is from Pastel mailed as PDF.

    Good day,
    I have installed Acrobat DC, and would like to combine 2 files. One is excel allready converted to PDF - No problem. The other one is from Pastel mailed as PDF.
    When trying to merge the files, this file ask for a Password. No password was issued from the setup or mail?

    Good day abrieb93050306,
    I can understand your concern, however can you please let me know that are you able to open both the PDF files ( the one you converted form excel to pdf & the other pdf that was mailed to you ) individually without using any password?
    As it asks for the password, it means that the postal mailed PDF is password protected. You can ask for the password from the sender of the postal mail & then try to combine the files.
    Please follow the steps in the provided KB doc.to combine the files : Combine files into single PDF | Adobe Acrobat DC tutorials
    This will probably resolve your issue.
    Let me know if you still experience any issue.

  • How Do I Combine Several Images Into One Image Which Contains Links To A Series Of Web Sites?

    How do I combine several images into one such that the combined image contains a series of web links? In particular, I’d like to create such an image and put it into my Outlook email signature. At present, as per the image below, I have at least six separate images in my email signature with each image containing a web link. Is Photoshop the best tool for this job? Or would it be easier to do this in some other package? I have three packages at my disposal: Photoshop, Ilustrator and Dreamweaver. Can someone please explain in detail how I would do this? Or perhaps someone could direct me to a link that explains how to do this. Thank you.

    Thank you for that correction, Hobotor. I admit I hadn't thought about an image map, in the context of someone who doesn't seem to know HTML very well...  My thinking was running along the use of the Photoshop Slice Tool to get most of the way there...
    To expand on the above, if you were to slice up your image using the Slice Tool, say like this:
    Save for Web & Devices will create the HTML and save all the sub-images.
    Then you edit the HTML and add a (hypertext link) elements surrounding the various images.  Only thing is you'll have to set the border-style of the images to none.
    For example:
    <!-- Save for Web Slices () -->
    <table id="Table_01" width="554" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
    <tr>
      <td colspan="10">
       <img id="Sig_01" style="border-style:none" src="images/Sig_01.jpg" width="554" height="56" alt="" /></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
      <td colspan="10">
       <a href="http://www.GrahamsWebSite.com"><img id="Sig_02" style="border-style:none" src="images/Sig_02.jpg"
            width="554" height="43" alt="" /></a></td>
    </tr>
    etc.
    A full copy of the HTML and images can be found here...  View Source to see it as an example:

  • Combine PDF Forms w/o merging fields?

    I have nearly 60 grant applications that were submitted to me by individuals, each in a Form I created that they downloaded from my website.  I need to combine these files into one document that can be numbered from beginning to end.  When I go to merge the files into one single PDF document, I get the following message:
    "Any form fields that have the same name in the merged documents are now merged into one field. If you want these values to be unique, then you need to create a PDF Package instead of merging the files."
    Sure enough, when the documents are combined, every applicant's information is replaced by the first document's information.  There is NO WAY I can go through and rename the form fields in 100 documents, and yet I need all these forms in one document so that I can add page numbers, etc.  Help!
    David

    Note that  layers are not involved in this at all. I was able to successfully flatten that last form that you sent. What happens if you open the form in Acrobat, open the interactive JavaScript console (Ctrl+J), type in the following line:
    flattenPages();
    And with the cursor on the line, press Ctrl+Enter

  • I want to combine 9 images into one so I can get them printed on a card any help or do I need an inexpensive app?

    I would like to combine 9 images into one so that I can print them on a card. Can I do this in i-photo or do I need an inexpensive app?

    No, iPhoto can't do it.  If you have Pages it can be done there very easily.  Drag all of the photos into a Pages page, resize and arrange as necessary.
    Otherwise you'll need a 3rd party image editor that supports layers.
    Some Image Editors That Support layers:
    Photoshop Elements 11 for Mac - $79
    GraphicConverter - $40
    Rainbow Painter - $30
    Imagerie - $38
    Acorn - $50
    Pixelmator - $60
    Seashore - Free
    GIMP for Mac - Free
    Xee 2.1 - free

  • Combining PDF Forms with global elements

    Hello all,
    I have a bit of a problem with combining .pdf forms into a package. I was hoping that I could convert word documents into .pdf format, then convert them into forms using global bindings for basic information in the forms such as customer name and address. The problem is I would like to package the forms as required since all situations are not alike, and have the global bindings work within a package. Unfortunately it seems the only way global bindings work is within the same form unless you convert a word document into .pdf and combine the files into a single .pdf before you convert it into a form. Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

    Basically you have to lay the whole thing out in LiveCycle.
    I've done it by using the Replace Artwork (under the Edit menu) command on an existing form and selecting a pdf that has all the pages I need in it. Then you have to move the existing fields in your LC form to the proper pages.
    Or, put together a pdf with all the pages, bring that into LC as a new form and then copy/paste your existing fields to where you need them.
    I don't know if there's a better method hopefully someone else has some ideas. It would be a nice feature in a future version of LC to be able to add pages to an existing form.

  • When to use many dimensions or combine some.

    Hi,
    I'm after some advise on whether I should combine some dimensions. I thought I should combine them, but all the examples seem to prefer one key attribute.
    I have student information which has gender, ethnicity, year level (with 3 level heirarchy), age and disability. Would you keep these as separate dimensions or does it make sense to combine say gender and ethnicity, which olny has 9 combinations. Should I also combine year level (15 values) which would still only give 135 combinations. Age only has 20 values.
    There are only three other dimensions of date, school and course.
    Is there any reason to combine or not combine dimension such that I have a student dimension or a gender, ethnicity, year level and age dimensions.
    Your suggestons are most welcome.
    Regards
    Ian

    I would keep one or two things in mind.
    First off, for each fact table row, if you have 10 dimensions, then you're going to have 10 columns for the foreign keys that tie to the dims. Depending on the number of combinations, it's VERY likely that a single key would tie to a dimension with a few hundred values, thus taking 3 or 4 bytes storage per record. On the flip side, if you have 10 columns, you'll probably end up with 20 bytes of storage.
    It's all a balancing game...but with the small numbers you've quoted, I'd tend to make the model "simple" and just have a single student dimension.
    Hope this helps,
    Scott

  • How to combine FileReferenceList objects into one?

    Hi there,
    I'm successfully uploading multiple files to a server using
    the FileReferenceList object. But if you go to browse() for more
    files to add to the ones you've already selected (perhaps they are
    in another folder), then the original FileReferenceList object is
    emptied and replaced with the new files that are chosen.
    What I want is the ability to create a "master"
    FileReferenceList that can hold the results of multiple browse()
    calls. I've used "concat" to combine arrays before but I can't get
    it to work here. Here's the idea that I'm going for:
    private var myMasterFileList:FileReferenceList;
    private var myFileList:FileReferenceList;
    var myMasterFileList = myMasterFileList.concat(myFileList)
    Then when the user is ready, they can send the
    myMasterFileList:FileReferenceList off to be uploaded in one batch.
    In other words how do I create a running master file list from each
    subsequent file list call.
    Thanks for your advice!

    Well, it appears as I'm reading up on this a bit, that it may
    be that the FileReference or FileReferenceList objects are
    "read-only" therefore cannot be manipulated like a typical array.
    This doesn't make sense to me why this would be the case because in
    a multi-file upload situation, there could very well be a user who
    choose some files from one folder, but needs to upload additional
    files from another folder. The process of initiating another
    browse() method clears out the first list. If you could manipulate
    the file list like a normal array then you could just continue to
    add items to the first file list or a new "master" file list...
    THEN send all those items to upload at once.
    I want this functionality and so I think I'll need to
    creatively create many different instances of a FileReferenceList
    object so a user can gather up a variety of files from different
    locations and send them all at once.
    If anyone has any enlightenment on this I would love to
    discuss it because I'm still new to Flex and may be missing
    something obvious.
    Thanks!

  • Can I combine 2 forms with different master pages?

    I have two forms that need to be in one PDF together, but have different master pages. The forms are flowed, so the master pages are necessary to keeping the header and footer content in place. Is there any way to combine two forms?

    Hi guys, I figured out a kinda fudged answer.
    You can make as many master pages as you need, the problem is getting them to appear on the correct pages. I couldn't get the flowing first page to be as long as it needs, then start using the second master page for the next section. If anyone knows how to do that, I still need to know.
    How I fudged this was I put the entire form on the master page in a table to position it correctly and keep it flowed. Then I set the master page to a minimum occurance of 1. - There you go. Not the right answer, but it works.
