Combining libraries with itunes and iphone

ive got two separate sets of music that I want to play together....if I sync then I lose the iphone songs..
thanks for any help

I can't seem to sign into iTunes Store. Says I have lost connection and to try again later. Ugh. Frustrating.

Restart your computer
While your computer is restarting, clear all of the applications from the background on your iPhone. You can do this by pushing the home button twice and swiping the programs off the screen by pushing them upwards.
After you are done doing that, restart your phone.
Wait about 10 seconds or so and turn your phone back on. By the time you get your phone back on your computer should be completly restarted and ready to go.
When your phone is back on, plug it into your computer. This should automatically bring up your Itunes, you may get another pop up that says autoplay, you can close that out. That's it. I hope it helps and good luck

Problem with iTunes and iPhone Music organization. PLEASE READ AND HELP!

Hello All!
I have this problem concerning iTunes and my iPhone. When I add music, and I update the Artist title to organize it in my iPhone, It shows EDITED on my mac in iTunes, but not my iPhone. I took a screen shot of what It shows. The TOP is iTunes showing "Arie Dixon" and "Arie Dixon & Olivia Cipolla" two seperate CD's, yet different Artist Titles, just the way I want it. The BOTTOM shows how the file was originally, in 3 seperate titles, "Bebe Boohgz" "The Jackmove 3" and "Arie Dixon 'Bebe Boohgz' and Olivia Cipolla". The problem is that iTunes shows it in the correct title, but my iPhone won't. This is my 2nd iPhone 4 I have that has this problem. I'm not sure if it's the settings or encoding, can someone help me out? I can't be the only person with this problem. Apple rep looked at me like o_O
I also have music that won't appear in my iPhone, I manually have to search for, but appears on my iTunes in the correct title.
I also have everything updated, and have the new os x release.

As for the message about the media disappearing, of course it will. This is how iOS upgrades work. The device is wiped and the newest version of iOS for the device is installed as a "new" device then the device is restored using the backup created prior to the upgrade.
All the content on the device should already exist in iTunes on the computer.
If you want to move your iTunes library to a different drive for capacity reasons, do the following:
Close iTunes
Copy or Move the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the C drive to the other drive.
While holding SHIFT launch iTunes. iTunes will then prompt the user to select a library or create a new one. Point iTunes to the new iTunes folder location.

Problems with iTunes and iPhone 5

Hi folks... just got an iPhone 5. Initial connection with iTunes worked fine but after that, nothing. I worked through the online troubleshooter and am about to uninstall and reinstall iTunes although it says that's usually not required. Before I tackle that does anybody have any suggestions?

You have to be cautious about syncing with more than one computer but it is possible. Check this knowledge base article about syncing for more info. Note the use of Manual Syncing...that looks like the best approach to avoid tying the new iPhone to the computer.

Trouble with iTunes and iPhone

Okay! First off I'm new to iTunes. Well kind of. I have the current edition of iTunes and software for iPhone. Its been having problems getting to the create ringtone wizard. I right click the song, click create tone. I sign in. It than does nothing. Yes my PC is authorized. Im doing everything correct. Im wondering when we get the iTunes store feature on the iphone? I dont have it, and some people are saying its out. Is that true?
As for the ringtone problem. should i just throw itunes in the recycle bin and start all over????

It should do one of two things in my experience. It will either bring up the ringtone editor, or return with a message saying that the song can no longer be made into a ringtone. If it is doing neither of these, I would uninstall itunes, shutdown, and restart then reinstall itunes.

Problems with iTunes and iPhone after PC rebuild...

Recently, I had to rebuild my PC after a RAID adapter change wiped my array. I reloaded iTunes and went through "authorizing the computer" but it will not allow me to move my apps from my 3G to the itunes. If I enable the sync flag it says it will blow all the apps away on the phone.
I got this for each application from the iphone configuration console:

iphone not wanting to backup to itunes, have deleted itunes and reinstalled and still will not backup and update to new version

It might be helpful if you told us what the error messages you're getting say.

Multiple problems with iTunes and iPhone Music

ok... so no one tell me to check and uncheck sync all, blah blah blah... I have done everything in every combination. I have disabled the "Show All Music" slider on my iPhone... I do not use the cloud for music, nor do I use iTunes Match.
It first started with my music app on the iPhone just darting from song to song, none of them playing except for a few random ones every now and then.
I unsynced my music from the iphone and resynced, which worked - but now I have over 1000 duplicates on my iPhone that are NOT in my iTunes.
When going back to unsync all songs, I am still left with over 1400 songs on my iphone "about" screen, yet iTunes says that there are no songs on the iPhone under "on this iPhone"
I am truly at my wits' end here. And from the looks of it, Apple has really screwed the pooch on this one.
Does anyone have any suggestions at all??? Will update as I continue to work on this mess.

Problem with itunes and iphone 3g

I was trying to upgrade my phone to the next level so I could use icloud with it because I plan to get an iphone 5 and wanted to be able to have all my stuff on the new phone. When I tried to upgrade the phone a message pops up on the home computer and said if I continue the phone will lose all media? I had previously unsynced all photo albums except the camera roll. Now it will not even sync. It said I cannot back up to my computer. When I look at the itunes account it shows photos filling it almost completely. I have a c and d drive on my computer. I moved all the photos from c to d trying to make space and it didnt help.

Problem with itunes and iPhone 3GS

I upgrade to 4.3 and my itunes dont recover the backup, dont sync anymore with my iPhone. I need to use a mac from my friend to go back to apple first configuration, and copy the backup to the mac, and then recover with the backup.It work. But my note (Sony vaio 4GB w7 64 bit) don't sync or do a new backup, always crash or the message making backup still for ever. I use avg free edition(anti-virus), and zone alarm (firewall). Can anywone help me?

Probably the music collection is corrupted on your iPhone (in that case you should see a lot of memory used for "other" on the bottom of the iTunes window.
Check the settings in iTunes; Reset the iPhone: Hold Home and Sleep/Wake button at the same time, ignore the shutdown slider, keep holding until you see the white Apple Logo (you do not loose any data); Sync again.

Sync iPhoto with Itunes and Iphone

I've just purchased a new MacBook Pro and moved my iphoto library over to my new laptop. When I sync my OS 3 iphone with my MacBook Pro everything syncs except for iPhoto. I get the following message: "Itunes cannot sync photos to the iPhone "myphone" because your iPhoto Library could not be found. Open iPhoto to create or update your iPhoto Library."
When I open iPhoto all my pictures are there. My iPhoto Library is in my Picture folder. Am I missing something? One thing I've noticed is I don't seem to have my iPhoto files all together in one Folder. Is this the problem.

Problem with itunes and iphone

Well, I have a problem: A few days ago I upgraded iTunes to the latest version, and since then the program has stopped me in August to sync with your phone. That is, it performs the synchronization process, but does it very quickly and not make any changes on your phone if it comes to music, programs or films. The program itself and its components odinstalowywałem and I installed again, but it did not give anything, I tried also with an older version and also the problem repeats August. Do you have any idea what is wrong and how to make itunes work properly again?

Synching new email address with itunes and iphone.

I had a change in email addresses. I changed it on itunes website. But when I try to access it from my iphone, it still has the old email address and won't let me sign in stating wrong user or password. How do I change it on the iPhone? I have done the sync and that doesn't do it.

Click the iTunes icon on your iPhone, select music and scroll to the bottom of the screen where you will see the name of your account. Click it and then sign out and the box will change to sign-in. Click it and choose "existing account" and then enter your user name and password.

Other Computers with iTunes and iPhone

Was wondering if anyone knew how to play music when the iPhone is connected to another computer other than the one you have your main music library on, ie. I am at work and have my iPhone docked to the computer here, and my music shows up in iTunes, but is greyed out, and is not accessible, this never happened on my iPod, what's the deal?!

The music is greyed out because the iphone does not have a manually manage setting like ipod. So when it is connected to another computer itunes will see the music but will be grayed out.
