Combining yearly Photoshop Photography Program with monthly Complete Program?

Hi all!
I'm planing to subscribe to a discounted 1-year Photoshop Photography Program. However, I sometimes need other apps from Complete Program, like AI or AE, too (probably worth 3-4 months a year).
For money saving reason. Is it possible to maintain a membership of Photoshop Photography Program while enrolling month-to-month Complete Program as needed along the way?
Or I need 2 Adobe ID?
Thanks!

If you have the trial or any other perpetual license version you will need to uninstall that first. After that log out of CC, restart your machine and then log back into CC. LR should then be available to download.

    Hi Sangeeta,
For a fresh download on a new hard drive, it's best to start with the CC desktop app. Sign into adobe.com and download it here: creative.adobe.com/products/download/creative-cloud
You can then launch the desktop, sign in and download PS & LR.

  • Cost of Photoshop Photography Program after the first year

    Hi,
If I sign up for the Photoshop Photography Program today (at $9.99 per month for the first year), what will the subscription cost be after the first year?
    Will I be charged for 3 single-apps?
    Thanks,
    Henrik

Budget that it will go up in year two to $15 then in year three to $18 and year four to $20 and year five to $25.
If inflation kicks in you can expect some major price rises
Enjoy your cloud whilst you can still aford it

    Hi Tcom,
    Welcome to Adobe Forum,
Have you tried logging out & logging back in of the CC desktop app?
Have you clicked on "license this software" when you get a prompt of purchasing CC?
Please try these steps, if the issue is still not resolved, do message me privately the order number, Email ID with which it is registered.
I will follow it up for you.

  • Cloud storage with Photoshop Photography Program

I have just changed my CC subscription from full to the Photoshop Photography Program.  According to the e-mail I received telling me about the new option, it stated that I would still receive the 20gb of Cloud storage.  Tonight I received an e-mail stating that my subscription would revert back to the free subscription 2gb storage.  What's going on?

    Hi Carljh2
The email about reverting back to the free subscription is in relation to your complete Creative Cloud membership which was cancelled.  You will have access to this plan until 8th October and then you can activate your new plan.
    Thanks

  • Does Photoshop Photography Program include use of Typekit?

I subscribe to Adobe's Photoshop Photography Program and notice that the Creative Cloud desktop application indicates that I can turn Typekit on. However, it's not clear if Typekit is included in my subscription.
In the Creative Cloud FAQ I see this:
What is the Adobe Photoshop Photography Program offer?
This offer includes access to Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5, Lightroom mobile and web, plus feature updates and upgrades as they are available; 20GB of cloud storage for file sharing and collaboration; and Behance ProSite for your own fully customizable professional portfolio. That means you get all the benefits of a Creative Cloud single-app membership for Photoshop CC, but with Lightroom 5 and Lightroom mobile included as well, for a terrific monthly price.
In the Creative Cloud single-app overview I see this:
    Creative Cloud single-app plans include:
Full version of one desktop application
20GB of cloud storage for file sharing and collaboration
Adobe Typekit library of fonts for use in desktop applications and websites
    Behance ProSite
    Limited access to services
This seems to suggest that Typekit is included in the Photoshop Photography Program with no additional costs. Can anyone confirm this?

    Hi Wolf Eilers,
Thanks for your interest in Typekit!  The Photoshop Photography Program includes a Typekit Trial plan, which allows you to sync a selection of fonts from the Typekit library to your desktop and use them on the web as well.
If you would like to have full access to all of the fonts in the Typekit library, you would need to upgrade to the Portfolio level. If you would like to do that:
    1) sign in at https://typekit.com/login with your Adobe ID and password
    2) visit typekit.com/plans, and select the "upgrade" option underneath Portfolio. Your Typekit plan upgrade will be billed separately from your Creative Cloud payments. The Portfolio plan is $49.99/year.
There are links from the Typekit plans page which show you the fonts that are included in each subscription level:
    Pricing | Typekit
I hope that this helps; let me know if you have any other questions. Best,

  • Successful Switch From Single CC to Photoshop Photography Program

Today's the last day to sign up. Use Adobe Chat. Open 24 hrs. day, 7 days. Don't bother with the telephone. Clearly write out your situation, and what you want done. Save the chat dialog, in case you need it later. Look for and save the email confirmations. Here's what worked for me: "I purchased Photoshop CC August 12, 2013 (order # AD0089-----) for $9.99 per month for one year. Since that date, Adobe has offered unlimited $9.99 for the Photoshop Photography Program, which includes additional software. Has my account been upgraded to that newer program? If not, can you please do so? Thank you!"  In my case, the Adobe chatperson was probably juggling multiple chats at the same time. He cancelled my existing CC. Provided me the link to sign up for the Photoshop Photography Program. I signed up, and paid. I received two emails–1. canceling the old  (Your Creative Cloud membership has transitioned from Paid to Free), and, 2. confirmation of the new subscription (We received your payment - thank you! Here are the details about that order for your records). Success.

Well it’s not easy it seems. Some got help in two minutes others, like us, nothing?????
Perhaps it only works in the USA not in Europe?
    Regards
    Jean-Luc.

  • Photoshop Photography Program Renewal

    Hi
I originally signed up for the Photoshop Photography Program (For CS3+ customers) in November 2013 which included Behance Prosite.
Now my Photoshop Photography Program (For CS3+ customers) subscription is due for renewal I'm being told that my renewal switches to the Creative Cloud Photography Plan which does not include Behance Prosite.
Having invested 12 months in setting up and using Behance I am very disappointed that I cannot continue with my Behance Prosite without increasing my subscription.
It seems this change was made in May 2014 but I do not seem to have been told or missed the consequence of the change as I would probably have abandoned my Prosite back in May.
I've been unable to find anyone else on this forum or anywhere else on the internet upset and disappointed at losing their Behance Prosite access so I just wanted to ask on the forum to see what experience other members have had after one year and the renewal of their Photoshop Photography Program (For CS3+ customers) subscription, have they been switched onto the Creative Cloud Photography Plan or have they stayed on their original Photography Program (For CS3+ customers) subscription.
    Thank you for your help

  • Not qualified for Photoshop Photography Program

I just went on adobe site and entered my serial number for my Photoshop cs5 extended and it said I was not qualified for the Photoshop Photography Program at 9.95 mo--I also own lightroom 5
Please advise as I read it was for owners of an existing cs3 or higher

Adobe's educational licenses have never been upgradeable. Typically they're sold at a great discount. You probaboy can buy new full educational licenses at educational discounts, if you qualify as a student or educator.
Adobe's recent, perpetual license upgrades - such as, to Photoshop CS6 - have accepted a student license as a qualifying product. Not the suite license since that is a completely different product, but student versions of Photoshop.
That acted as the affordable entry point, for people who might manage a commercial upgrade, but not an initial commercial-price purchase at many hundreds of dollars. Otherwise these people were never realistically going to become commercial software users, so were never going to contribute any real revenue to Adobe going forward within the perpetual license model.
The Cloud offerings can now be considered as the affordable entry point instead, IMO, given that they don't involve any large lump-sum purchase at the start. You can be up and running, for the expenditure of your first monthly payment only. Even a year's commitment is much cheaper than buying a perpetual license, and comparable to buying a commercial upgrade under the perpetual license model.
So, a person who does not possess any commercial license for the software, only an academic one, is only disadvantaged in that they fail to get this discounted membership.
But AFAICT this discounted membership is given on the strength of having in the past shelled out a lot of money buying a perpetual license. Someone who has not done that, IMO should not feel aggrieved at missing out on this particular discount.
It is specifically not aimed at them. I read it as a goodwill gesture / incentive / sop to other people, who have got to this point much more expensively, than this hypothetical student will have done.

  • Upgrade Photoshop Photography Program

    Hello,
I currently have a full stand alone copy of LR 4, and a subscription to PS CS6 with 9 months remaining. I am interested in upgrading to the "Photoshop Photography Program", for £8.78 per month, as this seems to be the most cost effective way of updating these. I don't use any of the other programs from CC. Can I do this? And would I need to pay off the remainer of my year's subscription first?
    Many thanks,
    James.

    Hi James
You need to have a standalone qualifying version of Photoshop CS3+ to qualify for this offer.  If you only have a Photoshop subscription then I'm afraid you don't qualify.

  • Lightroom 5 upgrade to Photoshop Photography Program

    Using Windows 7.
I have Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5.3 installed on my machine.
I have purchased and installed Photoshop Photography Program.
The Photoshop version has upgraded to CC but the Lightroom 5 version still has my original Serial Numbers showing on the Help/Registration/License.
How do I fix this without uninstalling Lightroom?
I have searched all over but can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
    Thanks,
    Roy

You now have two LR licenses, and each of those licenses can be installed on up to two different computers, so effectively you have 4 different installs you can use.
If you have not already installed LR on 4 computers, just choose which version, CC or non-CC that you have not already installed two times, and use it until you have time to reorganize what is installed, where.
LR-CC also makes it easier to migrate which two computers you have LR-CC activated on.  Upon installing on the third computer, something I did, recently, you'll be asked to deactivate it on the other two.  After that, you can just log into whichever other computer you still want to use it on and it'll reactivate that one and the other one will revert to deactivated.  Presumably you can do this several times across multiple computers, only having two activated at a time, but I'm sure Adobe has some way to watch for abuse of using your two licenses across many computers by repeated activating and deactivating different ones, and would eventually blacklist your login or serial number.  Years ago with Photoshop, there used to be a hard 20-deactivate/re-activation limit, but that was done away with so no one knows what it is, now.
If you really need LR on 5 or more computers then you'd need to buy more of the two-activation licenses.

  • Photoshop Photography Program incorrect price?!

Hello, to start off positive, I'm VERY happy that Adobe decided to make such a Photoshop Photography Program
Now, the negative: I'm irritated because, as usual, per the statements before the release it said that the price will be 9.99 USD for EMEA non-EU countries. In Switzerland it costs 14.04 CHF (Swiss Francs) which means ca. 15.37 USD. Switzerland is an EMEA non-EU country. The same was stated on the Swiss Adobe site (9.99 USD). Swiss VAT is 8.00%.
So per my calculation 9.99 USD + 8% = 10.7892 USD which is 9.86 CHF.
9.86 CHF to 14.04 CHF, that means I would be paying nearly 50% more than was stated.
If this is not how it Adobe works then they should, from now on, write European Union (including Switzerland) and EMEA non-EU (except Switzerland).
Here the offer from both sites:

    Hi ray
I know this doesn’t really help you but Adobe have always used pricing differentials for each separate market, claiming that the cost of doing business is higher than in the US. So we have traditionally paid more in Europe vs. the dollar. Also Adobe delivers on-line products across Europe from the Republic of Ireland where VAT is charged at 23% not 8% as in Switzerland. It looks as though this latest offer allows qualifying customers to lock in a 50% discount compared with the single app pricing, whilst membership is maintained.

  • Two different Photoshop Photography Program offers?

In mid-September, the Photoshop Photography Program was introduced. I first read about it here: http://blogs.adobe.com/creativelayer/introducing-the-photoshop-photography-program/?scid=s ocial11524994
It states that the $9.99/month price is not an introductory price, but THE price for anyone who owns Photoshop CS3 or later, and that you have until Dec 31 to sign up. The Black Friday offer that is currently being promoted seems to be open to anyone and the $9.99/month is only for the first year. Will the original offer be made available again after the Black Friday deal is over? I don't want to rush to sign up for the Black Friday deal and face a huge monthly subscription increase in a year.
Also, if it's even relevant after the answer to the previous question, would the original offer be available to owners of CS5, or does it have to be the standalone Photoshop program?
    Thanks!

The only difference between the Black Friday offer and the original one is that the Black Friday offer is available to everyone until Dec 2.
After that, the original offer kicks back in. Owners of standalone CS3-CS6 are eligible (and no-one else) until Dec 31.
