Comcast E-mail's Not Being Received

Hi
Is anyone having problems with their Comcast contacts' e-mail's being catagorized by Verizon as Spam?
I have a contact that uses Comcast e-mail where this began happening a few days ago.  I can add his e-mail in my Settings section as "Safe" and that works but I was wondering if this is a system-wide issue between Concast and Verizon e-mail.
My contact is receiving all of my E-mail's but his incoming e-mail's are all getting sent to the Verizon Spam folder unless I add his address to the "Safe" filter list.
I sent an e-mail to   [email protected]    with my contact's e-mail address a couple of days ago.  That doesn't seem to have had an effect on the issue.

Looks like your doing everything that I would advise. [email protected] is more so when your sending and the outgoing spam filter is catching it from what I understand from when I had this problem a while ago.
I would suggest the safe senders list if that helps you get your email in the inbox for the customer's

Yahoo e-mails are not being received on iphone 4.  I had to go website to retrieve about 50 emails from last couple of days.  Everything looks correct in settings and I haven't changed anything that I know of.  Please help if you've encountered this issue.

I tried the suggestion of deleting the account and starting over from scratch (twice), to no avail.

Mail suddenly not being received from server. The ISP tells me there's nothing wrong at his end. I can see emails on the server if I look up WebMail; they don't come into Mail. I haven't changed anything lately. The incoming server details haven't changed; the Connection Doctor shows the accounts are connected; I've turned everything off including the modern. Have exhausted my limited knowledge. Anyone with something similar?

I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in  mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.
I am starting to believe that Apple is Satan.

  • Sent mail is not being received

Some of my emails use my me.com account are not being received by the recipient.
The emails show being SENT in my SENT box.

I have a similar but perhaps unrelated problem. Every now and then, I send an email on my gmail account using Mail. The sent mail appears in my sent box, but never arrives, and does not appear in my webmail sent box (where it usually does, using gmail). Most of the time it works, and it even works most of the time with people it has had a problem with, including mail I send to myself at work at my professional address. Usually arrives...but not always. I don't know how to trust my sent mail box without always going on the webmail to make sure it actually went out. I only have this problem when using the Mail application, but there are no other common characteristics (attachements, ISPs, etc) to say there could be a problem with one of those things. Anyone else have this problem?

  • Mail replies not being received

    Hello all,
I have a cousin in France that I am not able to receive email from.
My emails get through to him, but his replies are not received by me.
I've checked with other members of the family here in Australia, and it appears that those of us who use BigPond as our ISP can send but not receive. However, we can communicate if I use my Hotmail account.
My cousin uses Wanadoo in France as his ISP. He's using an intel iMac running Tiger V1 and Mail 2.1.3.
As far as he knows, he hasn't set up any particular rules in Mail. He only has this problem sending to or replying to email sent via BigPond.
BigPond tell me that it's not a problem at our end.
So, either it's a problem at Wanadoo, or a problem with the way he's set up his account.
A search of this forum did not turn up similar issues.
    Any suggestions gratefully received.
    Cheers.

  • Some mail sent from Mail is not being received or sent

I am losing mail, both received and sent, intermittantly. It definitely involves my .Mac email account but I don't know if it involves others. A friend who also has a .Mac account is experiencing the same problem. It does NOT necessarily have to do with any attachments or bcc's. Is anyone else?

  • An e-mail is not being received

I have tried to figure this one out for about an hour. My banker has been trying to send me an e-mail and I am not receiving it. I have been receiving all of my other e-mails and the banker has been able to send the same e-mail to others successfully.
My first thought since I was receiving all of my e-mails except for this one is that it is a problem with the sender, but since they have not had any problems either I'm clueless to where the problem is coming from. Any information would be very much appreciated.

Double check you are sorting the e-mail in the inbox so you can see the most recent e-mail, and that you checked your most recent e-mail, and any message that might have arrived at the same time as your banker's e-mail is in plain view when sorted by time.
If you are filtering spam, check your spam mailbox.
If you are not filtering spam, it is possible your internet service provider has setup a realtime blackhole for that address, and needs to stop doing that.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RealtimeBlackholeList
These are really insideous problems, because someone can spoof an address, and make it appear to certain internet providers the sender is a spammer, when in reality they are not.

  • Samsung note II, known issue of aol mail not being received on phone

I spent hours on the phone with Customer Service this past Wednesday & Thursday because my aol mail is not being received on my new phone. I just did some research online, and found out this has been an issue with AOL and Verizon since December 2012. The Customer Service rep told me this just happened the past week! What a bold faced lie!
I purchased this phone on or about July 3, and the AOL mail was working fine until this past Wednesday.
This is a know issue, and yet the lie right to your face about it.
I had a C/S rep tell me he would call me back later in the day, before he left work. I told him, I have heard that before. Oh, no, I will call you. Of course he didn't call. Your C/S reps think they can say whatever they want, but the calls have been monitored or tracked someway by your computer system.
I see many others have the same problem with the Samsung Note II and their email accounts.
Since December this has been going on, don't you think it's time you fixed the problem?
Two years ago, when I spent $200 on a phone, I said never again. But yet I wanted a 5.5" screen so I paid up! Never again!

I FINALLY spoke to someone today who was able to solve my problem so far.
In the PLAY STORE....look for K9 email app.....and download that...put in your AOL email address and password. You should now be able to receive your aol email on your phone.
It seems he has a Note II also, and had the same problem.
You would think that MANAGEMENT would tell all their C/S reps how to solve the problem. I guess they would rather lose a customer who has been with them for 10 yrs.

  • Group addressed e-mails not being received

My new iPad seems to be receiving e-mails that are specifically addressed to me just fine. But, I have noticed that e-mails addressed to a group of recipients (including me) are not being received on my iPad while my computer does. For example, my employer will send out an e-mail to all of the employees (as a group). I can view the e-mail on my computer but the iPad doesn't receive it. And, I'm using the same e-mail account on both. Why?

    Johnoo wrote:
OK, I've worked out how to set up a sub - account.
    BUT
Concerned that if I set one up it will impact on my current BT Yahoo account, ie could e mails be diverted or will the sub account only be used to persons I share it with? The BTYahoo sub-account is a stand alone account and will only get emails that are addressed to it. If you want emails from it to go to your main account you would need to set up a forwarding rule.
Also if/when I get replies will I see them on my normal BTYahoo e mail "In Box" page or on a different page? No. You would only see them in your "normal" email inbox if you do as I suggest above and have them forwarded to your "normal" BTYahoo email. If you don't do that the sub-account email behaves in the same manner as any other email account and you would need to log onto it to see the emails.
    Also
Do you think it will solve the question posed above? You would need to establish what the problem is in the first place such as are the notifications being blocked by your spam filter, are they being sent etc  because the same thing could happen if you have them sent to your new sub-account email.

  • Only Incoming emails not being received on Mac Mail

    Hello,
I am able to receive incoming emails on my Blackberry as well as my Webmail, but since a couple of days, my incoming Emails are just not being received on my Mac Mail, specific to 1 Account only.  I have multiple accounts on my Mac Mail.
    Please assist.

    Hello Shadab333
Start with using Connection Doctor to see if there is anything that is preventing it from receiving email. Depending on the settings of that email address in Mail you may not receive them once they have been checked elsewhere. Check out the article below to troubleshoot the issue further.

The 'Winmail.dat' problem has been extensively covered in these forums, I would search for that (a Google search works well) and unfortunately I have not seen the pdf print problem before, but assuming the software is current and functions normally (other than the pdf print problem) I have no suggestion other than the obvious (but time consuming) re-installation of Office.

  • Sharing photos by email - Emails are not being received

My photos which I have shared by email are not being received, even though I have a confirmation that they have been sent (one photo has been sent).

Do you have iPhoto setup to email the photos itself or use Mail to email the photos?

Same problem.  Have deleted account and reset using BT settings for both IMAP and POP and although the e-mail is sent it is not being received.  Have tried sending to numerous different e-mail addresses but none are received.
There was another thread with the same problem that is marked as solved but the details of how this was achieved were unknown and not posted.
Have even reset the BT home hub but not made any difference.
To add to the misery, e-mail from my iphone is now not being sent saying the password is incorrect.  Nothing has changed since earlier today when the e-mail was working.  Have tried reentering the passwords manually but no luck.
If I use webmail it all works.
Started yesterday so although I am now receiving mails, I cannot now send any e-mail unless I use webmail.
