Comcast email stopped updating

My Comcast email just stopped updating on Thursday. Did something change, or does anybody know how to fix it? When I delete and try to reinstall, I get error 'Cannot connect to the remote server. Please check the network settings and then try again.' It won't let me manually set up the mail widget using my previous settings. Help!

Emails stopped updating since 4 jan

Hi
My emails using bt mail on my iPad suddenly stopped updating on 4 Jan. I cannot see new emails using bt mail but can send eMails. I can still see my old emails . However I can access my new incoming emails by using the yahoo service using their app.
I do not know why this has suddenly happened. Nothing changed on my iPad to explain this . I do not know if it is relevant but my email address ends in Talk 21.
Everything has been working extremely well until the 4 Jan and woke up to find that I was not receiving any new emails.
Any ideas?

Any ideas my incoming emails on my iPad suddenly stopped on the 4 jan using bt mail account? Strangely I can still send emails but not receive. I had not changed or added anything to my iPad. I have since downloaded the yahoo mail app and can now access incoming emails via this.However I want to go back to the bt mail.

Comcast email has worked fine until I tried to send a picture by email. Now doesn't update. Only shows old messages.

POP3 server emails stopped after new update of 503

Last week messge appeared on screen that new update version (14.0.4) available for your mobile Asha 503. I select yes to upgrade my phone from older version to new. after upgrade procedur my office POP3 server email stopped & not working from that time. i contact to my office network administrator to check any possibility to enable my email but he asked me there is no any chance to receive my email because he tried lot of time to re configure but it vain. please help

The easiest way to track this is: Capture the network traffic! This can be done via a:
A) Wi-Fi access point which allows capturing. Alternatively, you go for a
B) Ethernet Switch behind the Wi-Fi access-point which allows port mirroring. A third alternative is to
C) install Connectify on a computer and use that as capturing Wi-Fi access-point
for your Nokia Asha 503.
In all cases, you use tools like Wireshark to analyze the data traffic. However, because you are in contact with your administrator already: Does he see any data packet from your Nokia Asha 503 at all? If not, the Internet configuration could have been damaged while updating. Nokia Xpress browser is using a slightly different configuration, therefore it might not be affected.

Check the outgoing mail server settings in your account on the Treo and see if it is set for your yahoo account.
Make sure it is not set for the Hotmail account.

If you still have problems, create a new account on the Treo for your yahoo account and delete the current account.

Yahoo email stopped pushing the day the ios6.0.1 update came out. Managed to get it back Saturday night, but stopped again last night. I have tried every trick I found in the forums short of restoring my phone, but don't really want to do that if I can help it, since Yahoo push has been sporadic in the past with all my iPhones & don't know if it will even help. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this as well. Thank you.

I haven't tried anything as of yet. I just had this happen like an hour ago n haven't had time to troubleshoot. I did however do a soft reset but haven't written another email to see if its still going on. Im at work n dont have much time until morning.

If the Mail application will not launch, I would recommend processing any available updates on your Mac Pro and test launching Mail. If the issue persists, process a reinstall of Mavericks.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

First, try these basic troubleshooting steps:
To make sure that you're connected to the Internet, open Safari and go to www.apple.com.
Log in to your email provider's website to make sure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Make sure your settings are correct using Mail Settings Lookup.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the affected email account.
Tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.
Follow these steps for specific alerts.

Make sure you entered the correct password. If you enabled two-step verification through your email service provider, contact them to see if you need a special password for your iOS device

Mozilla doesn't send email about updating Firefox from a link in the email. Someone is trying to induce you to install Malware or a virus on your PC under the guise of a Firefox update.

Go to appleid.apple.com, click the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'
Log in with your Apple ID & password.
Go to Name, ID and Email Addresses
Change your primary email address.
Reply to the verification email sent to the new email address.

How to change the Apple ID on my iOS Device
Settings > iTunes & App stores.
Tap your AppleID, sign out then sign back in with new AppleID.
Settings > Messages.
Turn off iMessages the turn it back on with new AppleID.
Settings > iCloud.
Delete the account then turn it back on with new AppleID.
