Comcast emails are bouncing to- in US & Canada--June 2015!!

Dear Comcast--During this past month, June 2015, I've had trouble with my emails from Comcast getting bounced from some other ISP's & servers--possibly May as well!  This morning I was booking a reservation for a British Columbia, Canada trip with a Canadian service & they asked me if I had another email address besides Comcast, as they've been having trouble with Comcast email accounts bouncing their travel confirmations.   This is a SERIOUS & ONGOING problem, Comcast!!  What are you doing about this?  It's been going on for too long, obviously.  What is amiss?  I had to give them my work email to send the travel confirmation because home Comcast email apparently is still bouncing them.  THIS IS NOT GOOD, Comcast!!  Please get this fixed ASAP!!  

Call comcast security to see if there is a block in place for the domain in question-----------

    I've been trying to send some email to you but it keeps bouncing and being blocked.
    Have you experienced this before?

    Your email address must be blacklisted with mac.com. You need to get him/her to check their spam filtering settings.

  • Current comcast emails are not downloading to iphone and ipad

    My IPhone and IPad stopped receiving new comcast emails a few days ago. I deleted the account and added comcast mail again but it only downloads old emails.  Comcast not helpful and said its an issue with Apple. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Try resetting the devices.
    Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that didn't help, test on one of the devices.
    Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    If helped on one device, do the same for the other.

    if the email is being sent from Gmail, it reaches the destination. Therefore there is no problem with the recipient. The other point is that the bounce back is happening with only few people, the rest of the company is running fine! Any clues why could this be happening??

    Since bounces are occuring during delivery of the messages, I would recommend setting up domain debug logs('system administration -> Log Subscription'). These logs contain the entire smtp conversation between Ironport and the recipient domain's mail server.

    The mentioned IP (67.18.137.88) is associated with gateway16.websitewelcome.com. This has been blacklisted by several RBL. This is the reason you are getting that bounced message.

  • Problems with comcast email on iphone

    Had problems sending emails from my iphone and ipad through Comcast. Apple could not solve the problem, contacted Comcast and they stated that they had issues with the Apple iphone and ipad and told me to download the "Xfinity connect ap" did so and everything works better than before.  When I used the Apple email had to trash what I did not want on Apple and then when I went to Comcast the email were still there.  Using the xfinity ap, when I delete on the iphone or the ipad the emails are deleted at all places.  Before I had to delete on my iphone and then my ipad and then when i went to my computer they were still there and I had to delete there also, which was a real pain. Still can send and rec email from my icloud account, but comcast email are handled through xfinity connect

    my point is what i stated. maybe i posted in the wrong forum. SORRY.  I was only trying to help. No it is probably not Apples problem but the Apple people did not know what to do or did not have a solution to the problem.  I spent hours trying to straighten it out on line and with apple personel with no results, Apple employees did not have a solution to the problem.  Like I said Sorry, but it cost me hours trying to straighten it out.  I had used it for 2 yrs and then it stopped working, I figured Apple had a solution but they did not, and wasted a lot of my time.

  • IPad Email Failure, bouncing all email addresses but my own :-(

    Windows 7 / Ipod Touch / iPad 64GB WiFi
    PROBLEM
    From the iPad I can only send/receive mail to my own ISP Email address, and Gmail account. Any other addresses hand typed or inserted from the iPad 'Contacts' book are bounced back as invalid Email addresses.
    INFORMATION
    My PC, iPod Touch and iPad Email configurations are exactly the same. I can successfully send and receive from the Touch and PC with no problem.
    My ISP has no idea why the Emails are bouncing and verifies that all my settings are correct.

    itunes failed to sync your email info properly. this is an itunes problem
    delete Ipad backup
    erase all email info, re enter it in itunes
    then resync
    verify...send an email yo yourself. see if it goes thru
    if it fails it means itunes is not syncing your email info properly.
    another option is dont sync info for email in itunes....instead, enter all email info directly on ipad and then see if it works there.
    i often have this problem and this is how i fix it.

  • Some emails are not delivered, also not in LOG, no Bounce message

    I am Using Mountain lion server with the server app installed.
    Not the strange thing is that a lot email is not delevered to my email clients, but some are.
    The email that is having problems is [email protected]
    Does anybody know how to debug where the email is, that is not deliverd?
    Let me explain a strange situation.
    When I sent a mail true wetransfer.com from [email protected] to [email protected].
    I recieve the message on info@, that is is successfull delevered at test@..  but never recieve the mail at [email protected]

    I indeed use a filesending service for testing, and agree that thats not the best way to test, but it was a way.
    Since most email are delivered it is hard to test when it is going wrong.
    Its a good change that it has to do with the DNS.
    Does anybody know how to test if DNS is installed proper? I did install a default MLS installation.
    What I see is that there is one issue with my reversed DNS.
    When I type in terminal:
    Host server.crypton.nl,
    I get my IP, but when I type:
    Host 83.2.97.95
    I don't see my server host but the one from my ISP.
    83.2.97.95.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer 095-097-002-083.static.chello.nl.
    Not
    83.2.97.95.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer 095-097-002-083.server.crypton.nl
    Might that be the problem?
    Since you mention it can it has to do with the DNS.
    Since it is all default, i dont know what is wrong with it.

    Friends are reporting that some emails to me are bouncing back.  It is multiple folks with different email systems.  I do still receive most emails (I think!)  and there does not seem to be anything unique about the ones bouncing back to distinguish them from the ones that come through.  They are not large, they don't have big attachments.  What could be wrong?

    Are you running low on storage in your icloud account?
    On an iOS device, go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device.  Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
    On a mac, System Preference>iCloud.  Look at the bar graph to see how much space you have used.
    Also, the bounced back emails should include some error statements as to what the problem is.  Can your friends report that to you?

    It might be helpful if you disclose who your email provider is.
    As stated above, the mail messages on the server may have exceeded what your provider allows for and if you have the mail account to never delete messages from the server on the iPad, that could be why you are getting the messages.
    In other words, you can delete messages on the iPad and they could still be on the server.

    What you are describing sounds like you created a new apple id with your new comcast email address. There may be apps on your ipad that are associated with another id that was using your verizon email address. If thats what you're saying then those apps need to be updating by using the apple id that was used when they were downloaded.
    If you're talking about something else then maybe a lttle clarification is necessary.
    Go to settings/itunes and app stores. make sure the correct apple is shown.
    Go to settings/mail, contacts and calendars. Makes sure all of the accounts are current.
    Go to settings/icloud, facetime and messages, verify the same.

    Go to Mail Preferences>Accounts, click the '+' button below the list of accounts and insert the settings, username and password as instructed. Some account types can be set up automatically as soon as Mail knows the emails address (because the server settings are built in), in other cases you will have to get them from your ISP.

    What port & Authentication are you using?
    Can you login with your credentials in a Browser using the same info?
    In Mail's Window Menu, choose Connection Doctor, any red dots for status, if so what is the exact message?
    Then click the Show Details button & Check again.
    The Password rejection can confuse people since it's a catch all meaning...
    This Password, Username, Authentication method... is not recognized on this Port to this Server, or a server end problem.
    If using a browser to login via WebMail works it's not Name or Password, but one of the other ones.
    The receiving email ports are:
    IMAP is port 143
    IMAP-SSL is port 993
    POP is port 110
    POP-SSL is port 995
    Outgoing ports are...
    SMTP and SMTP-SSL is on ports 25, 587 and 465. Port 587 has to be SSL, and port 465 is enforced TLS-wrapped and is generally used by Outlook users.
