Hi all,
I thought i would do the same thing that ocured when the ipod photo came out adn start a post that lists where links are offered for all present and future planned 5G cases. I am sure that as people post links here the suply willb e very beneficial. So upon my own looking i have noticed this great link. THey are planniyg a case soon for the ipod video. An i personally like the case becasue it is so genius.

Check this out the makers of the great silicone cases "Iskinz" has announced a special case for both 5g ipod models available early december!! Here is a link to a pic of it and to get info when it becomes available. I had a iskinz case for an older ipod that i had good case.

when i try starting my IPod it won't start, the Apple logo comes up for a few seconds,and then. it just shut off . I tried to charged it through an outlet, the IPod didn't eve charger so I tried to restore my setting in my computer, i tunes won't
But that requires the computer to see the ipod. I am having the same problem and I keep being told to restore it, but you have to either get the ipod to turn on or have the computer see it in order to so that. Right now I have a pretty useless 32GB ipod touch cos I cant get the thing to turn on! I can only get the apple logo for like maybe 20 seconds and it goes away. Ive charged it for days on a wall charger, on the computer usb charger, and on a speaker charger. Nothing works.

The "backup password" refers to a password you created when you elected to encrypt your iPhone's backup. If you cannot remember the encryption password, you will not be able to access the backup.

The TC is really a complex thing to use, when you don't do it as Apple designed it.. and in fact on your iMac an external drive will be cheaper, faster and more reliable than a TC. But I guess you already have it so may as well use it. -
I just downloaded 5.2 and both my Apple TV shows and movies won't come up. Hulu and Netflix works fine, but when I go to select a purchased move or show through the apple menu, spiral comes up for about 10 seconds and then brings me back to the main page

When will Siri be available for the iPod Touch and the iPad? Really wish Siri would be expanded to other high end Apple devises like the iPod Touch 4th generation and the new iPad instead of it just being iPhone 4S exclusive. That's such a cool feature!
Well.. Me and one of my good friends both have iPod Touch 4th gen 32gb's and my friend read on the Technobuffalo website that IOS 5.1 was suppose to come with Siri for the iPod touch and probably the iPad and I updated my iPod 4th gen to IOS 5.1 and it still doesn't have Siri !

Everything on your ipod should be on your computer and you should be syncing regularly. -
I have created another iTunes library (so I have 1 for an ipod touch and a separate 1 for an iPad), but the apps from the iPad appear in both libraries. How can I stop this so the 2 libraries are completely separate? Thanks
You don't need two separate libraries to manage two devices.
I suspect the reason that the apps are appearing in both libraries is that you have enabled automatic downloads in iTunes and automatic syncing of apps so that all your purchases end up in both libraries, defeating your original aim.
Why not use a single library and make playlists for the media content you want on each device? Disable Settings > Store > Automatic Downloads > Apps on each device, then connect each device in turn and turn off Automatically Sync Apps on the Apps page.
You can now manage your devices independently, while only having to manage the content of one iTunes library, instead of two.

I have purchased apps for my ipod touch and they are not loading properly. They appear on the screen, but when you touch them, they do not open and bounce back to the main screen. Any ideas on how to fix?

A update(6.1.5) was available for my ipod 4 and an error occurred. Itunes is telling me to restore my ipod, but i know that if i restore my ipod everything will be erased. I have downloaded an update for my ipod 4th, and after that all my songs, pictures and apps have been erased, Is there some way to recover all my information without have done a security copy?
I supsect you did the update on other than your syncing computer. If yu did the app, music and synced photo will not be on the iPod after the update since those items are not in the backup that iTunes makes. See:

The above applies to all updates performedvia USB on a computer. To get stuff back, restore from backup on the syncing computer.
The above in my educated guess since you provided litle information about how you did the update.
You can redownload many iTunes purchases by:

I pressed the find my iphone delete button and then my phone showed the apply logo. I then got worried and turned it straight off and now it will not turn back on. The apple logo just comes up for about 10 seconds and it goes back off.
Connect your phone to itunes on the computer you use itunes on and open up itunes.
