non riesco ad installare l'app store sul mio imac... ho provato con l'aggiornamento software, ma non va. qualcuno può darmi una mano?

The problem was that to filesystem were formatted in "Mac OS X Extended Case-Sensitive Journaled" but it shouldn't be "Case-Sensitive". I did a backup with Time Machine, formatted the HDD (SDD in my case) without choosing the "Case-Sensitive" option. After restore all my data by Time Machine the game works perfectly.

To get the Mac App Store back you will need to manually download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.7 Update Combo;

It is safe to install this over your current installation of 10.6.7. It will reinstall the Mac App Store, as well as fill in any gaps that your installation my have. It is a common troubleshooting step.

10.9 is free, so you could upgrade to that if you wished
if that's not an option for software compatibility reasons, you'd either need to re-install it from the original disks (that came with the computer, or a seperate iLife disc), a backup, or purchase a boxed version from someplace like eBay or Amazon (Amazon has iLife '11 for $39)

I purchased my imac October 2010 and unknowingly deleted my App Store. I've updated my software and the App Store icon appeared in my applications; but when I clicked on it "unexpectedly quit". I reported the problem and need some assistance.

Can't access App Store, new iMac right out of box

I hate to start another one of these threads but the only thing I've done since initially booting my Mac was try to access the App Store to download Xcode. Nothing has been installed. I can get to the Internet through our guest wireless. Everything is brand new straight from Apple as of today. No antivirus. We've tried making sure the class 3 public certificates are operating by first trying to set them to "trust always" then followed another threads instructions to get them set back to autos elect. Nothing. There's nothing on the computer, (other than mountain lion and ilife i think) so there's no danger of deleting any data, but we have no discs to do any kind of repair with. Help!

Congrats on your new iMac!
Check GateKeeper for downloading apps from the App Store.
Click the Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click System Preferences.
Then select Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Select: Mac App Store and identified developers
If that area is greyed out, click the padlock icon bottom left corner of the window. You may be prompted for the admin password to make changes.
Restart your iMac and try downloading Xcode.

IPhoto says "installing" in app store, on iMac with Yosemite, but it never gets installed.

I have an older iMac, 24" from the late 2009 era, have upgraded to Yosemite, but now iPhoto won't open. It says that I need to go to the app store and install the new version. When I do that very thing, iPhoto says, "Installing" in the gray box that used to say Install, but it never seems to finish installing. What can I do to fix this?

Start over.
Find iPhoto on the Launch Pad, hold down on it, till the LaunchPad items start to wiggle, then click the cross to uninstall iPhoto.
Restart your Mac, then try to install iPhoto again.

Ho acquistato l'app DocsToGo vers. 4.0.5 (416) per ipad2, accorgendomi però subito dopo che non mi permetteva di gestire l'invio di documenti in allegato alle mail. Per avere questa funzionalità ho acquistato l'aggiornamento DocsToGo Premium, per il quale ho ricevuto regolare ricevuta di pagamento. Purtroppo l'aggiornamento dell'app non compare sul desktop, anche se in app store risulta istallata, e naturalmente continuo a non poter allegare documenti e altri files alle mie mail. recently I can't "sign in" in app store and after 2 min or more I see : "Connection Failed"
don't underestand why !

Disable anti virus software if installed
Make sure the firewall is turned off in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall
Make sure Gatekeeper is enabled
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected. If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.

App store on Imac not DL/UP

The Last week or so i've been trying to update an game I downloaded.. When I click update it turns light gray as if it will download.. then turns back to dark gray as if i did not click it... Its been like this for a while.. I tried deleting it and then re download it and still does the same... Any one else experence this?

Installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you which may help. Restart your Mac after the combo is installed.
Then try re downloading the update on the game.
