The user wanted to change this field comm/imp code. I told her that this field is possible to change if the invoice/billing doc is not yet released in accounting. But the user insist that she can edit it before.
Is it really possible to edit the invoice if already released in accounting. if so, how?

If possible cancel Invoice in VF11 & again create billing document by editing field.
Or Cancel accounting document in Tcode-FB08 or F.80 (mostly done FI deptt of business)& edit the invoice.

my question i want to update MARC_STAWN field (Forign trade import) for my existing all material , those material MARA_STAWN (basic data 3 ) is also blank but system is allowing me to update in MARA_STAWN (basic data 3) but system will not update to MARC_STAWN (Forign trade import) field.
What is the best method to Coppy all MARA Stawn fields to the MARC Stawn field.

This field lies in Foreign trade Export view of the tcode.
The Field is related to Table MARC
Field -STAWN.

Imp-code help

Hi all
i am loading data from ods1 to ods2. the data in ods1 is as follows
billno item      type sign     value
1     1     X     P     7
1     1     X     N     3
1     1     X     N     3
1     1     Y     P     2
2     1     X     P     2
2     1     X     N     2
2     1     X     P     9
for each combination of Billno and item ,
for every record where type =X , i have to
all all values where sign equal to p to pupulate
ods2 field 1 and all values where sign is N to
populate ods field 2.
i.e my output should be

Create an ODS2 with key field as bill no and item. Create 2 key figures and in the update rules set the update mode to "Addition". In the start routine write:
DELETE DATA_PACKAGE WHERE type <> 'X'.
In the update routine of the 1st key figure write,
If COMM_STRUCTURE-sign = 'P'.
RESULT = comm_structure-value.
ENDIF.
In the update routine of the 2nd key figure write,
If COMM_STRUCTURE-sign = 'N'.
RESULT = comm_structure-value.
ENDIF.

Missing ''foreign trade data''

Hi,
there is in System several ''S1''- cancelled invoices
still open.
There is no accounting document created
because of error message Missing ''foreign trade data''.
But the user is unable to complete the data because
several fields are coming automatecly from precedent document.
and i guess the document s will stay open untill
its relaesed to accounting.
How could we clear those documents?
Any idee?

For the present generated billing documents you have to do it manually..
Billing document
Goto-header->Foreign trage/customs-handling-
modes of transport ( fill maully) and other necessary data if required fill it.
Billing document i
Goto itemforieng trade item> legal categorization--->
enter comm/imp code.no.
But here after you want it automatic this process..
You can assign the default values in
Spro-> Sales and distribution> foreign trade/customs ---> transportation data ---> Default Values For Foreign Trade Header Data
in this screen cilck on country for want to maintain
in the next screen in tranport tab u can maintain the available ModeOfTrnsprt-Borde.
The commodity code will be directly copied into item level into billing document if maitained in material master record.

Xcode 4.2 can't commit code by svn?

Hi, all:
I got a problem while using xcode 4.2 to commit source code to the svn server.
The message pop up below:
The repository "xxxx" could not be reached.
Please verify that the repository is online and reachable and try again
But the svn server is online and I can use the command line in the terminal to commit them, and the organizer shows the server works fine also.
Is that the bug of the Xcode 4.2 or I got the wrong settings?
I'm using MacBookPro 2011, Lion 10.7.2 and the lion was just new installed.

This is not entirely true.
I am using the svn:// protocol, and when I try to update or commit my project from Xcode I get the "Repository could not be reached" error. However, from Organizer, I am able to successfully commit or update the project.
I do have another smaller problem when trying to update, I have to click Update twice because the first time it says that the project is up to date.
I will fill in a bug report with Apple also.

I previously opened a discussion called comma delimited string for a report header. The response I received then worked well for 'Year' but not for two other areas I am trying to use it for.
Original Code
Details:

I needed to modify the code to eliminate duplication in Year and this worked fine. See the code below. I also needed this code for two other areas, Author and School. Without the extra line of code with the 'instr' function the code would always show and error for ' Left(author, len(author)-2);'. It came up with and error saying that the result was less than 0 or not and integer and went into debug mode. I added the instr function line and it worked for most but not all. This is my problem. Either the ' Left(author, len(author)-2);' line or 'If instr(author, {@Author } ) = 0 then' makes data disappear. It will show a comma delimited string for 'Author' on most rows but not from some. The same would be true for' School'. I am not sure what is going on. The code below is what I am currently using in the subreports.

The same desire was with the Schools and the code was the same. I just don't know why this is returning the blanks.
You mentioned in the last post that this would be better done in an SQL command. Should I open up another discussion because I think this would be the way to go. I just don't know how I can do the same comma delimited code in SQL.

I'm trying to execute 2 inserts to tables in 2 different databases (version 9.2), using the JTA package.
Everything works fine, but when i execute the utx.commit (uts being a UserTransaction object) , i keep on getting the error :
javax.transaction.SystemException: Could not commit: error code 17002- for additional error code check Oracle log file
Just before the utx.commit, the utx.getStatus() gives ACTIVE.
I checked all the settings in data_sources.xml and orion-application.xml, and they are correct.
Someone any ideas plz ?

I found out that the commit-coordinator must be defined in the application.xml and not in the orion-application.xml, and the data source used for it should be defined in the global data-sources.xml (in the config dir), but now i'm still getting following error :
error in execute() : javax.transaction.SystemException: Could not commit: error code 29540- for additional error code check Oracle log file.
What oracle log file ? what code is it giving back ? Is it a ora-... or something else ? Where can i find more info ?
I already start the oc4j container with option
" -Ddatasource.verbose=true -Djdbc.connection.debug=true "
but it doesn't give me more info.

PA30, WP restarted, SAP commit failed

I am trying to update some users record in PA30. but the changes are not getting saved, and it is throwing the error:
Workprocess restarted, when looked at sm21 logs:

POKALENA     PA30 Q02 Stop Workproc 0, PID 8469
                  Q01 Start Workproc 0, 4 times since system startup. PID 13646
POKALENA     PA30 R47 Delete session 001 after error 023
But this is working fine in other system, only problem with this UAT system
Any thoughts please.

This problem occurs in the following cases:
1. Insufficient heap memory.
2. Table lock.
To know more about heap memory, and troubleshoot the issue further, check the following website:

However, if there are no issues with the heap memory, you can see if there is a lock entry on the tables.
This should resolve the issue.

When I try to load data in my BW Dev the request ( infoPackage or DTP) remains in yellow status for a while & then turns red. When I check SM21 I get the following error:
