Command button in the selection facet of a table
hi,
i am implementing a search page,where filed to enter search criteria is in main page, when a user enters enters search criteria and clicks on a command button search results are displayed in the popup.
again if the user selects a particular record and clicks a button that selectd record gets displayed in the main page again.To do this iam using that command button under table's selection facet under selectone component.to get the selected record displayed in the main page iam using a return action listener which returns #{row.rowKeyStr} and in the main i wrote a custom method which listens to the returnEvent.This way i could get the functionality
my requirement is that button should get displayed on above and below the search results table. but when i use the button out side the select one button it is returnning #{row.rowKeyStr}.
Can someone please suggest some solution
give you table an id then in your button action find out table.getSelectionState().getKeySet() and then get current rowkeystr from it.

Prob with Push Buttons in the selection screen
Hi All,
1) I have 6 push buttons in the selection screen(Normal Report), 3 in a first row(P11, P12, P13) and 3 in the second row(P21, P22, P23). If I press one push button(for ex P11) the other two Push buttons(P12 P13) should grey out(Inactive mode). If I press P22, P21 & P23 shoul grey out.
2) I need color change for the Inactive push buttons.

KrisCan you please post your selection screen definition? I don't understand what you want to achieve by greying out the other pushbuttons when one is pressed.
Does that mean pushing one button will do nothing except greying out the buttons?
Typically when you push a button, you want to continue to execute the required processing for that button not just grey out other pushbuttons and stay in the selection screen.
Anyway, you can achieve that using the following logic. I am not sure how and if you can achieve the color change.

Problem With Push buttons on the selection screen

I've taken 3 push buttons on the selection-screen with the following syntax
SELECTION-SCREEN: FUNCTION KEY 1,
FUNCTION KEY 2,
FUNCTION KEY 3.
and have removed the F8 execute button using FM RS_SET_SELSCREEN_STATUS
Now, the problem is i'm able to perform validations using At selection screen but the code after the Start-of-selection is not being triggered.
I mean the processing is being terminated after the at selection-screen.could anyone please tell me how do i trigger some code after the event start-of-selection when a user presses a push button with sy-ucomm = FC01.Check the below sample program :

add a fixed top cell.
right click on the column
Insert FixedTopCell
Right click on the fixedTopCell
insert Editor.
select button.
then button will be only in the top most row.

How to highlight the selected value in a table

I have list of roles in a table like admin,dba...etc.
i will select the current selected role using
Stgin role =wdCotext.currentElement().getRole();
After getting the role i bind this value in context.
now my requiremnet is i will navigate to other table view containing all roles like admin,dba,networkadmin .
I have to highlight the selected role in previous table to new table containing the all the roles.
means selected role should be highlight in a next table view list of roles.

To achieve this functionality, use another integer variable to store the index of the currently selected element in the first view. Pass this variable's value to the next view (either as plug parameter or throgh mapping) and set the Lead selection for the table as this index in the second view.
In the first View ....
int n = wdContext.current<your_node>Element().index()
pass this value from first view to second view.
In the second view
wdContext.node<your_node>().setLeadSelection(n)

One selection screen block contains input parameters as follows

Ledger Type -P_RLDNR
Open Item Key Date - P_ZFBDT
Another selection screen block contains 2 radio buttons with the option as follows
Collection Plan
*Credit days summary.
If i click Collection plan the report output should come based on the input parameters in first selection-screen block.
If i click Credit days summary the report output should come based on the input parameters in first selection-screen block.

How to associate a button with the selection/unselection of a JTable?

how to associate a button with JTable in this manna? i want to disable a button once there is no selection in the JTable, and enable the button when there is a selection. to associate the selection it is easy: just make an eventAction for the button on the click in the JTable and check whether there is a selection. but how to do this with the unselection? hope anyone can give me any hint. thanx!import javax.swing.*;

My Ipod touch froze and now the screen showa a symbol like a tiny flower. How to pass the selected data of a table to SAP(R/3)
Hi all,
I have a table with 2 colums and 10 records.Now i want to send the selected record to the R/3.
Once the user checks the checkbox i retrivred the colum values of that row into a string array.
and i added all the string arrays to an AbstractList.
Now in function module it is giving as setT_Operations(AbstractList)
but it is giving error..can u plz tell me how the function module understands the individual String arrays

Padma NHey try to accept the values of a column as import parameters to a BAPI and you can send the data.But this will work out for a single data.
In the BAPI insert the data making use of insert command.
ITAB-COLUMN1 = IMPORT PARAMETER 1.
ITAB-COLUMN2 = IMPORT PARAMETER 2.
INSERT INTO VALUES ITAB.
If you want to insert multiple records then you have to change the cardinality of the node.And add the node elements to the node.If any doubts then do reply. -
How to delete or remove the selected row in a table

I'm facing a typical requirement in VC, similiar to variable selection screen in BI Queries :
I will have two tabes and if the user selects data from one table it will be moved to target table.I'm able to populate the target table with the value but I'm not able to delete the selected row from the source table.
Any help in this regard would be highlt appreciated.

Follow the following steps -
1. Create two buttons.One for 'delete row' and another one for 'insert row'.
2. Assign the proper system action as per the name.
2. Change the name of both buttons as common name.
3. To trigger the actions simultaneously add a star before the action.( For Example : *select)
4. Change the visibility of any one of the button as 'false'. (so it will not get displayed)
5. Now, if u click the visible button both actions will be triggered simultaneously.

How to populate the selected row details of table in the next view?

Im having a table, on selecting a particular row of a table by clicking on a radio button. i need that row details to be passed on(populated) to the next view when i navigate to that view by clicking on a button?

Your scenario is simple. Just follow the ex as shown below
(Assuming you want default selection view provided by table itself.)
1>Create 2 views (Ex:A and B)
2>Create a Context with a node and attributes(For Ex:Person as node and Fname and Last Name as attributes
2>In A view create a table with F name and L Name(map to context as well) and a action button to navigate to B view when you selected a particualr row o.k
3>In B view, create a TextView with mapping to LastName(or all the data if you want from input selection) from the context
If you want you can add back action button from B view to A view for easy navigation.
4>Execute the application and select any row in the table appeared, press next action button,you can see that the selected row details will be shown in second(B) view.
If you do the above example, I think you can easily find the solution for navigation issue.. try it out.
