Command in Smartform not working

Hi all,
I need to print totals in every page, for that how to know the end of the page.
i tried to print only 15 rows in page and set a flag, if flag = X then im printing total in footer.
But in some instances, the page has more than 15 rows then after 15th row the total is printing then the
remaining records are printing. Now i called the Command with flag = X and in goto new page i gave second page.
But the flag has set to X, total is also printing but the command is not trigerring.
after 15th record the total is getting displayed and remaining item are printing.
anybody has a clue on this why the command is not trigerring?
pls suggest.
Regards,
Priya

Declare your total line in Footer of table. There you will have the option to display it at end of table or end of each page.
No need to calculate 15 lines or so.
Just keep calculating the total in a variable and display it in footer.
Double click on Footer node of table and you will see the optin to display it 'At page break' or 'End of table'
Revert if in any doubt.

  • Go to current song (command L) is not working in itunes 11

Go to current song (command L) is not working in itunes 11, anyone having the same issue?

    Thanks for figuring that out.
I thought that command-L was working when I first switched to iTunes 11, but then it wasn't working anymore. That's the ticket: I changed the display to show the sidebar.
Still, I'd like to be able to use the command-L feature whether I'm showing the sidebar or not.
I'd also like it if iTunes would keep showing the currently playing song when in Grid or Artist view modes. It doesn't, so I have to keep using command-L to see the current song info.

  • Command-V will not work!

I use command-c & command-v more than any other keys on my keyboard and all of a sudden, command-v will not work.  I think one of my children pushed something that disabled it, but I cannot get it to paste anything even though my other command options work.  When I press command-c the "Edit" tab highlights and when I press command-v the "Edit" tab also highlights but it does nothing. It does this in every program so it's not program specific. Wow...amazing how missing one function can disable a person so quickly!

A couple of people who have had this problem found an SMC reset resolved it, which is odd as you wouldn't think there would be any connection. However it is easy enough to do.
    from;
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
    1.
    Shut down the computer.
    2.
    Unplug the computer's power cord.
    3.
    Wait fifteen seconds.
    4.
    Attach the computer's power cord.
    5.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
If that does not work, then explore your idea that your kids may have re-assigned that function to something else. Ask them if they were doing anything like that.

  • Command-C is not working consistently to.

Command-C is not working consistently for me. In multiple apps, but mostly in Word, I find myself pressing Command-C and then Command-V to paste and what I paste is the LAST thing I copied, not the most recent. I sometimes have to repeat teh sequence several times before it pastes the thing I want it to. Any suggestions? I tried searching for this problem, but didn't find any relevant discussions. Thanks!

    Hello eeinna,
I was thinking it might be a good idea to reset the SMC and the PRAM on the computer. Here are the 2 articles for those processes:
    About NVRAM and PRAM

    And
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

If needed I would also recommend testing the issue in a new user, and following the directions in this article as well based on what you find.

How do I paste a screen capture? Edit-paste or command-V do not work.  Tom

how did you take the screenshot?
if you used a key combo like command+shift+ a number it will be saved as a file on your desktop
you need to add control* to whatever key combination you pressed to put it on your clipboard
*sorry for saying shift before i meant control

  • Hi guys, I have a big problem! My bookmark shortcut entry(command D) does not work anymore and do you know by any changes how to undo resetting of Safari? Thnx a million :)

Hi guys, I have a big problem! My bookmark shortcut entry(command D) does not work anymore and do you know by any changes how to undo resetting of Safari? Thnx a million

Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file.
    Quit Safari.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a small house icon. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop. Relaunch Safari. Try a bookmark.
If that didn't help, check Safari / Preferences then select the Extensions tab. If you have any installed, turn that off, quit then relaunch Safari.
If Extensions aren't the issue, reset Safari. From the menu bar click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 7 buttons, click Reset.

  • Shift-Command-R does not work anymore

    Hello all,
I've noticed that the shortcut shift-command-r does not work anymore on my macbook pro. I used it for the calendar to refresh all calendars, and its also handy to open the reader in safari 5.
When I open the keyboard viewer from the language and text menu I can see it when I press shift, then command but when I press "R" nothing changes, only shift+command stay highlighted. Other letters do work, so its a bit strange.
Anyone know a solution for this?
    Thank you in advance

Nope thats not the problem, the listening key is Esc. It is as if the keyboard does not register it when the R is pressed in combination with the shift and the command together. As I said, the keyboard viewer shows every keystroke except the shift-command-r combi.

Nevermind! I right-clicked on the application and clicked force quit and it worked! That's all I had to do!

How to organize app windows in Exposé.? The command 1 , or, command 2 does not works.

There is no Exposé in OS X Mountian Lion, Apple removed it for "Mission Control" and yes it is a confusing mess.

I have a MacBook Air using Maverick. I have files in the trash I want to recover to their original files. I do not have "Back Up" and "Command + Delete" does not work.

Drag them out of the Trash and put them in their original location. Put Back may work on one file at a time.

  • Command-I does not work!

I am running Mac OS 10.6.4. I bought this iMac brand new with 10.5 last year, installed Snow Leopard with the drop-in install DVD, and it has always had this strange quirk. Anytime I try to use the Command-I shortcut for "Get Info," it won't work. It doesn't work in Finder, iTunes, Safari...any application! My Command key is not broken, because all of the other shortcuts seem to work just fine (e.g. Command-S, Command-Q, etc.). The only one that doesn't work is Command-I.
I've scoured the internet but cannot find anyone with the same problem. Anyone know what's going on or how to fix it?

No. Since the issue is specific to your original user account, you can proceed in two ways. One is to log into your new account, make a list of the preference files (plists) located in /username/Library/Preferences/, including any in the ByHost subfolder, log back into the original account, move everything on that other account's list from the original account's Preferences folder into a newly created folder on the Desktop, log out and back in, and see if the problem goes away. If so, you can copy the ones in the Desktop folder (one at time) back into /Preferences/, restart, and see if the problem returns. If so, you've identified the corrupt/conflicting one. Continue with all of them until isolating the bad ones. That'll save you the trouble of resetting preferences.
The second way is much more detailed and I'll not burden you with the steps unless the above doesn't fix the issue.

  • Left side shift/command/option keys not working

I have a 2010 11" macbook air and out of nowhere my left side Shift Command Option keys are not working at all. Anyone had this issue? or know what I can do to solve it?
I have tried connecting my keyboard to it and doing the reset PRAM, SMC, PMU with no luck. I tried installing new Mountain Lion OSX hoping it was a software issue and it is still not working.

I had a key fail on my MBA and the problem progressed to other keys.  It turned out to be the electoonics in the keyboard, not the individual keys.  When it progressed to W, I had to replace it;)  Given you have two keys failing at once it could be a similar problem.

  • Command - Tab shortcut not working

My command - tab shortcut stops working after a random period of time and I have to restart my MacBook to get it working again. Any idea what could be causing this keyboard shortcut to fail? I tried killing and re-running the Dock but that does not fix it. A refuse to reboot my Mac everytime it happens (this is not Windows...) Any ideas on what might be causing the problem?

Actually I just researched this further and found a solution here:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1830738&tstart=0
+Open the activity monitor and look for something like the "ScreenSaverEngine" - the process should be marked as "not responding" (written in red)+
+End this process and Command+Tab and other shortcuts will work again!+

  • Command T (Transform) Not working

I just installed Photoshop CS4 on my Mac.  My OS is 10.5.8.
It appears the keyboard short cut command + T  for free transform is not working.    Other short cuts are working, like Command S, Command Z, the regular ones. But not sure what else may not be working if anything. Any suggestions? Ive already contacted my keyboard manufacture and they said its not an issue with the keyboard itself.

Ive already contacted my keyboard manufacture and they said its not an issue with the keyboard itself.
I'm shocked. Shocked I tell ya!
Transform won't work on locked or background layers. You must also have a layer highlighted in blue (in the layers panel) for it to work. If not, you might try resetting the prefs (hold command-option-shift as you launch PS, and confirm at the prompt).

  • Command R Recovery Not Working

Dear All, I'm a little stuck.  There's something wrong with my OSX (Mavericks 10.9.5) that is stopping me from booting in the regular way ( I get stuck @ the grey screen), Booting and using Command R does nothing (tried many times for long periods), thankfully booting and holding just Option manages to get me in (via selecting my hard drive etc) and thus i've now been able to back everything up... good... So now i run Disc Utility / Verify and am told i have disc problems and i need to reboot / command R to get to the recovery centre... hmmmm nope as the command r step is the bit thats not working.... What please do i do ??  I read about internet recovery but that seems to be triggered from within command r... I really don't want to simply reformat my hard drive and "see what happens" when i then reboot as hoping i get redirected to internet recovery seems like a crazy option.... Any guidance please ???... Basically how do i get to the recovery area without rebooting using Command R ?

Genius !... Thank you Barney... Booted via the web, tried to repair, couldn't but let me erase my hard disc and reinstall a fresh version of OSX.... 8 minutes to go on the download then it will need a thorough update but looking good right now !... a painful day but many thanks !
