CommandCenter has stopped working. (close program)

Hello,
Please for anyone reading, I really need your help....
I just built a brand new computer from the ground up, and I purchased this new z97 MSI GD-65 Gaming motherboard to go with it.  Now everything works EXCEPT the MSI command center program which keeps crashing 1-2 seconds after launching every time.
It used to work just fine the first week or so after I built the computer.  However, around the time of installing a Corsair H110 water cooler, the MSI command center started crashing.  I have tried many different versions of the command center, and many different updates, but it still keeps crashing every time.
I think (maybe?) it could have something to do with changing to the water cooler?  I'm not positive about this but it is somewhat of an educated guess... Because when I first finished the computer, and installed MSI command center, I had the CPU FAN connector on the motherboard going into the stock CPU fan that came with my processor, and then about a week later when I upgraded to a water cooler, I removed the stock CPU cooling-fan, and installed the corsair watercooler in its place.  Then I hooked up the CPU FAN connector on the motherboard, to the new CPU FAN connector on the water cooler.  That  is around the time MSI command center started crashing.
I think (maybe?) after launching command center, the computer is trying to detect the speed of the old stock CPU cooling fan, to measure its workload, and since the old fan is gone now, and it's a water cooler now, it freaks out and crashes the command center.
Does anyone have any ideas to help me?  I really want to start over-clocking with my new water cooler, but I cant monitor the temps or anything b/c the command center keeps crashing.  Right now there is zero overclocking and absolutely nothing has changed settings wise from when I changed from the stock CPU fan to the water cooler.  I have not touched anything else, or changed any settings at all.  The only thing that has changed since it was working was me installing the watercooler.
Also the watercooler is installed correctly, it is keeping my CPU extremely cool 35-40 degrees celsius even under extreme gaming, so I know it's installed correctly.  I've also googled the problem and seen this thread https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=180757.0 and many other threads about other people having the same problem... even without a water cooler.  So it seems to be the problem is more related to MSI, and in some cases was fixable by MSI releasing an updated version of the software.
Please.... if anyone reads this.... I really need your help!

Also I've seen you request the MSILoading.log in previous threads so I will just go ahead and preemptively post mine.

    Hi,
Please try to open Outlook in safe mode to check if the problem will continue. To do this, exit Outlook, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type:
outlook.exe /safe and press Enter. If the issue would be gone in safe mode, Please disable suspicious add-in in your Outlook to resolve the problem. See:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/outlook-help/enable-or-disable-add-ins-in-office-programs-HA010034127.aspx
We can also try to create a new mail profile in Control Panel to check the result. To do this, please refer:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918
If above didn't fix the problem, please try to run a repair of your Outlook installation and then test the problem again. See:

Eventually after a random number of tries firefox will start normaly. I am useing firefox 19.0.2 now bit I belive it started when I upgraded to firefox 18 but am not sure, it might have been when I upgraded to firefox 19 ... but it has been happening for a very long time and I cannot find any helpfule solutions online.
I have tried a Clean reinstall but it did not help.

    Hello,
'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
    * You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
''When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.''
    Thank you.

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
'''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
#Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
#*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
#Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!

  • When I try to open iTunes,it tries to start but than I get a message stating-iTunes has stopped working , close the program. Does anyone have a problem like this? I'm using windows 7 compatibility turned off.

I'm using a Dell PC with windows 7. Apple Store cannot open completely. An error message states- iTunes has stopped working, close the program.
I have spoken to at least 3 Techs with no solutions found for this problem. Compatibility mode turned off. Newest Download from Apple site.

See HT203206: iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

  • Adobe Reader 9.3 has stopped working ---- close the program

When trying to open a PDF document, I get the Adobe Reader error box.  Adobe Reader 9.3 has stopped working.   A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.
I went to the Adobe site and followed the instructions to add/remove program and reinstall newer version from Adobe website.  The new install is the 9.3 version and I am still getting this error message.  HELP ME!
    Vicky

I am running win 7 ultimate and had the same issue.
To fix: Do a clean install by first uninstalling Reader and removing all left over files....I use Revo (freeware) in the advanced mode to accomplish this
Here is the link if you are interested,,http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
Otherwise....make sure you remove all the reader files from c:\programs(86) or programs and clean out the registry as well. Reboot and reinstall.
Fixed it right up ..., no more probs.

  • HP installer plugin has stopped working - hp photo scanner 4890 - windows 7

I upgraded from XP3 to windows 7. I don't use my scanner much but discovered recently it doesn't work. I tried everything I could think of including: uninstall/ reinstall/update drivers/deleted all related files from OS program files/downloaded vista compatability fix andfollowed instrauctions Several times with error message after program ectracted the files "HP installer plugin has stopped working - close program.
I've bought lots of computer hardware over the past 30 years. I did a lot of PC upgrades for friends and family and always relied on HP for quality. Things certainly changed for the worse when they bought compaq.
I hope somebody here has found some information as to what this install plugin is and how we can fix this. I note I'm one of many having this same problem with HP. **bleep** it!

  • HP G4050 "HP Scan Resources has stopped working" and the program closes

Scanning photo negatives, and all was working well until I updated the HP software.
RUnning on an HP laptop, 64 bit, Win 8.1 64 bit, most current version of scanner software (is there no way on the software to find the version no.?  I deleted the download after installing)
Have rebooted the machine.  Closed the scanner, turned off/on, reinstalled software and all combinations of these three.
load the negs.  preview.  rotate, crop, click "finish".  It scans the first neg, gets 95% of the way (according to the work bar progress), throws up a message:
"HP Scan Resources has stopped working"  Close the program.  On the close screen it suggests the above 3 retrys, and gives the "extended error info" as :
8,[(4,0,-2147023170)]    I presume that may mean something to someone.
Am about 1/2 way through scanning 5,000 negatives, and this has cropped up.  Bizarre, as the laptop has not changed from the get-go (new HP laptop).   WhaddaIdo?

Hello WRJP, and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I see you are running into scan issues.  I would like to help.
I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration.  You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest reinstalling the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

  • Load MMDriver and Catalyst Control has stopped Working

    I have an Notebook Pavilion dv7 -6c00
Two days ago I Installed Adobe Premiere, and when I try to run it i get a error message that says somethink like they can't find a video module, I google it, and some people says that I have just to update my Graphics card driver. So I go to AMD page, and download the last catalyst control..
Since then I can't open firefox, Games, and other thinks because Load MMdriver crash and when I try to open Catalyst control it's the same.
    I try:
    - To install de original drivers with the Recovery manager. (nothing happen)
    - Uninstall the catalyst control... was the same...
    - To Restore the system with Windows Restore point... and then I get a error and it delete my point of restore, and don't solve the problem eather...
¿So what I have to do? I read this topic: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Display-and-Video/Update-to-windows-8-1-Load-MMdriver-not-resp...
They recommend to install that drivers in that order, I already download the driver for my specific model... but I'm worry about that "update" will crash another things.... Which is the solution to this problem?
This is a picture from google that shows my notebook model, (just to comfirm my model Pavilion Dv7-6c00).
    http://blog-imgs-50.fc2.com/d/i/g/digimonolog/Windows-Live-Writer_HP-Pavilion-dv7_C0F1_IMG_0021.jpg

Well First, Thank you a lot for answering.
My OS is Windows 7 (64 bits). Sorry I forgot to put it in the message.
I did not explaing mysell correctly. I did not the Recovery System from the partition yet, I just did the System Restore from a Restore's point. (EDICTION: more exactly, The AMD Driver from AMD web pages, also install the Microsoft Visuall C++ 2000, and maybe it was my biggest mistake, to choose it like the point to restore, and not before it... from that point it start the problems, when The restore finished it's said something like: "There was a error, and the restore couldn't complet... but it's indeed restore, but it erased the rest of restore points. I also have to add that It wasn't the first time that I restore, I mean, I install one driver from AMD and like I doesn't let me to run Adobe premiere, I restore to another point, and try another Actualization of Catalyst control manager, and it's in that moment, when it eather solve the problem, when I restore to the point when Visual c++ 2000 was installed, an all my nightmare begins)..
When I mention the Recovery I was talking about HP Recovery Manager, it let me reinstall the original drivers without the reformat/recovery the laptop. I used it to reinstal the original AMD Driver... but it doesn't solve the problem.
I did not the recovery because I would prefer not to have to reinstall all my programs. (But it's the ultimate solution XD).
I figure out that maybe the problem is in the Intel's Graphics Driver, (I didn't mention it, but my laptop has switchable Graphics, I think that's how it's called XD). I think that's the problem because when I used the HP Recovery Manager to reinstall my Intel's Graphics Driver I get this Error:
    http://s10.postimg.org/rua6ahk7d/Untitled.jpg
Also I can open the programs that I mention just when I go to Divice Manager and Disable or Unistall that Intell Graphics Drive (but it reinstall automatic when I: "Right click > scan for driver changes"). I can't find it in the "Add or Remove Programs" so I can't unistall the driver to prove with the HP Recovery Manager.
http://s29.postimg.org/g0r05dhzr/Untitled.jpg (Device Manager picture that shows my graphics Drivers, selected the one that I think it's the problem).
Then I don't know what to do. I really don't want to Recovery the pc, with the Recovery partition. I would prefer to try another options before (if exist any).
Thanks for Aswering, and excuse me my english, I'm not native... like I think you already guess. XD If I didn't explain somethin well I will try no explaing it better .
PD: When i have the intel driver Active, I get the message: " --Programs-- has stopped working" The --programs-- can be: Catalyst control, Skyrim (game), the HP Recovery Manager It's self, Firefox, and any thing that could use the graphics card (I don't get it why it happened with the HP Recovery Manager app that I shows in the picture... but it happened, i have to Disable the driver to get printscreen....

PD2: Sorry I didn't mention all this in the first post, I was a little hurry when I writed it.
