Commands are not working

I am running Solari 9 in my ultra10 machine. I am unable to run clear command. but when i am checking : $echo $PATH clear it shows
/usr/sbin: /usr/bin: / usr/dt/bin: /usr/openwin/bin: /bin: /usr/ucb clear
I am also unable to run Netscape browser:
Error: No web browser coomand found in your path.
But the command is in path
I am able to run clear command from windows machine using Telnet to access the ultra10.

That path looks strange. Its got lots of extra spaces in it, unless those are introduced by a cut and paste error.
And the correct way to tell if a command is in your path is
which clear.
echo $PATH clear just prints out the value of $PATH then print the word clear.

It is because of the license. In WS-C3750X-48P-L, you have a LANBASE license whereas in WS-C3750X-24P-S you have an IPSERVICES license.

Some commands are not working nor in illustrator nor photoshop, any advice better than Adobe?

Illustrator is not fuctioning at 100%, some commands do not work ( eg - command open, nor place etc ) and same with photoshop....

You may try the list, possibly starting with item 7) in 5), which is a list of the usual suspects, which may disturb and confuse Illy so she fails to do even simple things.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by issues with opening a file from external media, see below. You may have tried/done some of them already; 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

External media: It is always recommended here to open/save from/to own hard disk, and to copy from/to networks and removable media. You may be lucky (for a while), but the chances of file corruption and other unpleasantnesses are immensely greater when you use anything but the harddisk, and it is better to be safe than sorry.

Some amixer-commands are not working.

Hello, some of the commands of amixer are not working for me, e.g. "amixer set PCM toggle" or "amixer set PCM mute". But other commands like "amixer set PCM 100%+" work fine. How can I change this? Especially I want to use the toggle-command for the hotkey on my laptop.

Some key commands are not working

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro running OS 10.10.2.
When I use cmd/shift/4, nothing happens. However, these keys work individually. Similarly, in Pages, hitting cmd/shift/> will zoom the content in the window, but cmd/shift/< will not zoom back out. I've check my keyboard settings and all of the keys are mapped correctly and set to default settings. None of them seem stuck down.
Does anyone have any ideas of other things I can check to restore these functions? Thanks!

Yes, I've done this already. It looks just like your image.
I rebooted, hoping that would fix it and it did not. Also, this started before I loaded Yosemite and I was hoping loading it might fix the problem if it was something simple like that.
I checked the apps tab also (I have no apps) but the only one on there was the "show help menu" button and the keys listed for it are not replacing any other commands.

After i have upgraded to snow leopard my copy and paste commands are not working

If you do not have a removable battery
power down, power back up and hold the following keys, left side shift, control, option. Hold these keys till the gears stops spinning, release. Reboot.

Most P2P commands are not working

Recently "chat bombing" has become a big thing for trolls. For example, they get added to a group, and soon Ctrl + A their entire contact list and ruin the group. I have been trying to cut this off at the source by using a p2p chat group so I can use the JOINERS_BECOME_APPLICANTS option and prevent the added members from spamming and increase general security. However, the old commands still do not work. I attached an image showing what is displayed from "/get options" after I tried adding the JOINERS_BECOME_APPLICANTS option thrice. The option does not get added (at least from what I can see with /get options). Is there a fix for this or is this a permanent change? P.S. I also tried adjusting ranks of willing "guinea pig" users to helper and listener, nothing happened. P.S.S. Yes, I used /createmoderatedchat

The "Applicant" role model isn't really working indeed. I recommend to disable joining via link by using the /set options -JOINING_ENABLED command instead and only manually add people you trust.

You can try to copy the content in '/etc/skel/' to your home folder with 'cp /etc/skel/* ~/'. This should overwrite your local bash config files. If this doesn't help, then you have to update the '/etc/profile' file. There should be a '/etc/profile.pacnew'. Just move it 'mv /etc/profile.pacnew /etc/profile'. This should fix it.

Function keys are not working on a paired apple bluetooth keyboard

hello, I just got this apple bluetooth keyboard and paired it to my ipad2. The letter and number keys are working perfectly fine, but my ipad will not respond to F1 to F12 keys,I tried Fn+F1-F12 they are not working. Then I tried to restart both my ipad and keyboard but the problem is still there. Additionally, Command+arrows can't function either. command+space is working though. Could some one please help? thanks a lot!

It might have been functionality that Apple has removed in the current version of iOS. This old web article says the function keys worked in iOS3, but that's a couple of years ago:

External command is not working in File Receiver Adapter

   I have tried to copy the file which is mentioned in my File Adapter (Receiver) to 3 different folders thru OS command. The purpose is to save time. I have created one CC for Source(File) and one CC for target(File). After the target file is created, I want to copy this file in 3 folders. For this I have written one batch file in my system.

The command which I entered in the Receiver CC (File Adatper is)

But, this external command is not working. (because the target files are not created in those directories C:\TEST1, C:\TEST2, C:\TEST3)

   In this blog, he has also given how to troubleshoot external command. I tried this also. It is not working.
    I use Windows XP OS. XI 3.0 SP 18.

As the note says, please check the java Runtime.exec behavior
with the proper user.
If in doubt, check if the command can be successfully run through
the Java Runtime.exec(...) API. Also note that the command is run
as user "<sid>adm" (Unix) / "SAPService<SID>" (Windows).
So, Could you check the following(very dirty one!) Java in your
XI server and check if it works? For simulating %F, create a test
file C:\FILES\test.txt whatever the content is.

Why export audio to movie command not visible and detect cuts command is not working in 64bit mode?

Does anyone know why export to audio disappear from menu in 64bit mode?
Why detect cuts command is not working well in 64 bit mode?
I tested on several machines (brand-new iMac, brand-new MacPro with 10.8 OS, MacPro with 10.6.8),and everythig wotks in 32 bit mode. As I switch to 64 bit mode detect cuts only put one marker at the begening of film.
I also noticed that Firewire output option in 64bit mode is not avaible.
Is there a certain film format that I have to use to make it work? I tried DV PAL, but I had ther same result.

Hello, how much did you pay when some parts of the keyboard keys are not working properly due to accidental spilt of tea?

I accidentally spilt a tea on the keyboard of my Macbook Air 11'. I managed to wipe the keyboard and saved my laptop. However, I noticed that the Spacebar, Shift and Command keys are not working as it should be. It's like something's stuck inside that makes these keys hard to press as usual. I refered this problem to Amsys, Berwick St London, as the reservations in Apple Stores are full. Do you have any idea how much is the cost for diagnosis and repair if ever?

Liquid spills, why your MacBook chassis is a one-way valve for spills

I have a iMac running on an iMac and the F operation keys are not working properly.

My new iMac bluetooth keyboard is having issues all of the F operation keys are not working exept for F12 witch is supposed to be volume up takes me to mission control. I went into system prefrences and there was no setting in keyboard for the volume keys there are some settings for the operation keys but they are all checked and they are still not working and the settings that are checked arn't even what the keys are supposed to do. Win 2003 Sevver Command Prompt not working

It seems somehow the command prompt are not working on my server and hence one of my software installation is failing on the server.
it seems the CLI commands work fine when the Command prompt is executed directly from the /system32 dir. But when we use it from Start>run>cmd, the commands don't respond.
For Example:

Seems that you can perform these command with assign path, what I thought is this issue occurred because wrong environment variable setting.

6120 classic:My voice commands do not work

Please help.
Don’t know if I'm just being stupid or there is something not right with my 6120c.
My voice commands do not work.
If I press the button for a voice command, it says that there are no voice tags saved.
If I go into the voice command application (Which should create the voice tags on opening), I cant playback the voice tags, its give a 'voice system error' error message.
Is there something that is not set up properly? In the voice command settings, the synthesizer is 'on'?
Also, I don’t have voice tags on my contacts??
I read somewhere that this is a firmware problem and the phone should be taken back to nokia. Is this the case?
Somebody please help.

I formated my nokia n6120 using the code *#7370#. It deletes !everything! (settings, aplications...), but I have no voice sytem error now.
