Commands don't work on IPAD

I have created a fillable form and added a link to a file but I cannot open the link from my iPad but I can from my desktop? I have also added a JavaScript which works fine on my desktop but doesn't work on my iPad. Can anyone help as to why it doesnt work on my iPad.

aquapura,
Adobe Reader for iOS supports hyperlinks to open a web link (e.g. "http://..." or "https://...") or go to a page view within the same document but does not support hyperlinks to open a file.
To make hyperlinks work on any platforms (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and Windows Phone), I'd recommend not to use the hyperlinks that refer to a specific file system.
Adobe Reader for iOS provides limited JavaScript support. Please see the following online document to see which JavaScript APIs are supported.
JavaScript for Reader Mobile API Reference (iOS)
Please let us know if you have additional questions.  Thank you.

  • Actions; how do I find what commands don't work in actions?

I'm frustrated in trying to create an action make a channel into a layer.
    Sounds easy, right?
I'm got hung up on several issues though, which raised a bigger question:
    • In the approach I'm taking, I want to select the target channel during the action.
When I click on Channel X during recording, the action records the step as
    "Select X Channel"
Unfortunately the particular channel is hardwired into this command so that would
mean making three different versions of the action.  I have tried looking for a
more general form of the command, like Select Channel that then takes the
particular channel as a parameter, e.g. from a drop-down menu.  That at least
would work in an action. But no such.  (I tried some other ideas like using
Calculate or Channel Mixer which come close but not close enough.)
There's a more lame design: selecting the channel before recording the action, then
creating and deleting extra "internal" channels in the action -- it does work but it
isn't where I started so I lost a lot of time trying to find something that appears not
    to exist.
    • The lurking question here is how you find
    (a) whether there even exists an actual generic form of a command
      (b) whether the command works in a way that makes it possible to use in an action
Web searches don't lend themselves to finding information like "what commands
don't work in actions".  I would really appreciate pointers to any in-depth documents
on what commands a user can't get at for recording in actions.

Sorry about the last post, but i knew i had recorded selecting channels by the number instead of the name.
Well i found one of my older actions which must have been recorded in an old version of photoshop that named the channels with numbers.
Anyway, see if this action helps you any. (you have to copy the steps to your action)

  • STUCK IN GUIDED ACCESS ON IPAD. TRIPLE-CLICKING AND FORCER REBOOTS DON'T WORK, THE IPAD JUST UNLOCKS ITSELF AND GOES BACK TO THE APP I WAS IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stuck in Guided Access on iPad. iOS 7!
    - Triple-clicking won't work, the Accessibility Options pop-up and I tap Guided Access, it unticks, but no passcode input screen comes up, and the iPad stays in guided access.
    - Forced reboots don't work, the iPad just unlocks it self (no lock code) and goes back to the app that I am stuck in, which is Google Chrome.
    - Lost Mode is not an option, location services are off.
    - When I plug it into my computer, iTunes says that it is locked with a passcode, so I can't back it up.
There seems like no possible way to get out.
    Help!?

If you are prepare to wipe your iPad.
    FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
    1. Hold Sleep/Wake button down and slide to turn off iPad
    2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug.
    5. Release Home button.
    ON COMPUTER
    6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
    7. Select "Restore iPad"...

  • Form scripts don't work on Ipad Adobe Reader?

Greetings - I have created a form in which some fields change colors, pop up alerts occur, etc. This works fine on any PC, but on the Ipad some of these functions don't work. Is there a known workaround? Do I need different scripts for Mac? Thank you!

Also, there is a special sub-forum for the iOS version of Reader:

  • TASCAM IXZ don't work with iPad 2 on IOS 5

    Hello,
subject is clear. This interface don't work with iPad2 on IOS 5 ; with iPhone 4 on IOS 5 it does the job but not with the iPAd.
The Alesis IODock don't work too.
Apple ? an answer ? why are you still selling this product ?
    Many thank's in advance,
    Nicolas.

Hi and thank's so much for you response. I've tried to change the mini jack to x2 jack, i've test on other speakers but the problem is the same with headphone, so it couldn't be the jack. When i try on iPhone 4 it works but not on ipad2, no input. I've tried with other apps Like ampkit and amplitude because they say (tascam) that it works well. I've also writen to emails to teac (creator of ixz) but no answer. The problem is that there is no comments from peoples who have used the ixz. I'm really sad.

  • External speakers don't work on iPad mini

My speakers won't work with my iPad mini. They worked fine last week all of a sudden they stopped working. I tried Headphones those don't work either. Is there a setting somewhere that I can use to fix this?

I had the same problem. No sound on Head phones all of a sudden. Restarted ipad mini. Didn't work. Changed all volume limit settings. Still didn't work. Restarted again. I can hear the sound in head phones again now.

  • Some commands don't work in rutorrent/wtorrent

Hi, I have an odd problem. I'm trying to install rutorrent as a frontend for rtorrent. I don't know too much about apache/php/xmlrpc etc etc. so I have no idea what's wrong or how to go about fixing it.
Situation is this: I have managed to set up rutorrent successfully without any errors. I go into rutorrent with my web browser and everything appears to be normal. When I try and change the status of a torrent (i.e. stop, pause, start) it seems to change the status of the torrent. Whatever I change the status of the torrent to seems to be mirrored in rtorrent's cli. However, seconds later the torrent automatically changes back to it's original status for seemingly no reason. For example if I stop a torrent, 2 seconds later (give or take) it will start up again. This happens with every torrent EXCEPT those that I have manually stopped atleast once within rtorrent's cli. All other commands work normally at all times (for example, changing the priority of a torrent, removing a torrent, hash checking).
I posted on rutorrent's forums about this but have so far had no luck with a solution from that source. To test it out further I decided to install rutorrent 3.0 AND wtorrent. Both of these programs exhibit the exact same symptoms.
This clearly implies its not a problem with rutorrent but some other component. Unfortunately I don't consider myself knowledgeable enough to troubleshoot this any further by myself.
All packages should be up to date. This is my .rtorrent.rc

    SCGIMount /RPC2 127.0.0.1:5000
Any help would be appreciated. I am stuck! Thanks!

Sorry if this comes to late, I just now came across this thread.  I have rtorrent and rutorrent sunning successfully on my x64 Arch Linux install.
Try putting the "SCGIMount /RPC2 127.0.0.1:5000" line in your httpd.conf file right after the LoadModule lines (it's line 124 for me).
I seem to recall it not working when I put it at the end of the file.
    Best of Luck!

  • With the Lion, the copy and paste commands don't work.  So if you choose a photo and right click Copy, this photo can't be pasted in another event.  This used to work with Snow Leopard.

The copy and paste functions in iPhoto used to work in Snow Leopard, but not with the Lion.  How do I copy and paste photos from one event to another?  What I don't understand is that it used to work with Snow Leopard, and now that the OS has been upgraded to Lion, it doesn't?

Instead of copy and paste drag the photo to the new event. Or flag it and use the add flagged photos to selected event command

  • Is there a reason the arrow keys don't work with ipad dock

Is there a reason that the arrow keys appear not to work with the ipad dock? I can understand if the citrix app needs an update (would be great to use with excel) but it also doesn't work with numbers the mac app. Is there a reason they are on the keyboard if they are not for use? Safari they don't do scrolling but really wanted it for use with spreadsheets. Can anyone tell me if I just need to switch on something in settings?

    Hello there,
Not as such it is the iPad dock. It would be very handy for spread sheets.

    Try removing the finder preference.
    You will find it in
    Users/thenameoftheproblemuser/library/preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
Drag the file to the desktop, log out and log back in. See if
    it works now.

  • HT4623 Earphones don't work with iPad. Have used three different pair, all of which work with my IPhone.

I cannot get earphones to work with my IPad mini. Have tried the earphones that came with my iPhone as well as a Bose set and a cheapo set. Have brought IPad to Apple store where they blew out the port with pressured air which worked for a few days. Now we're back to the same problem.

Did you try to do a hard reset?
Press Sleep/Wake and Home button at the same time and hold them for 10 sec.
    It will reboot the iPad.
Still having the issue after this?
Did you try to hook it up to iTunes and do factory restore?
    Probably last resort...

  • File - New Tab command don't work. Ctrl+T also don't work anymore.

Suddenly Ctrl+T and File -> New Tab stop working. But I can open new tab by right mouse click on URL.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
    See:
    * [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]
    * [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
    * Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
    * Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.

  • Updated to 10.5.1, now apple menu commands don't work

Hi, updated to 10.5.1, and now when I choose "About This Mac", "Restart", "Shutdown", or "Logout", I just get the spinning beach ball for a few seconds, and then nothing else happens. No dialogs, no restart... the only way I can restart is to either hold the power button down, or 'sudo reboot' from the command line.
Anyone else have this problem? any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Ty

  • All commands don't work...folder with ? appears. Help!

I have installed a new HD in my MAC G5 and am trying to install a new Tiger, all commands when starting do nothing but bring up the little folder with a ? mark. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

G5 will not run Lion, G5 were ended in 2006 PowerPC IBM inside.
Mac Pro came out in 2006 and will run Lion and also Tiger.
Trying to install Tiger has to be the 'right' version for the machine, retail was G5/PowerPC only while Mac Pro (Intel) such as MacPro1,1 needs the OEM DVD of 10.4.7 and up.  The later G5 Quad and PCIe graphics required 10.4.3 or .4 I think

    Community for PowerMac (G4, G5):

Also if the machine was upgraded with graphic card it may require a later OS than what it shipped with.
