Commands menu in FM9 is dead

I'm trying to create a new character format in FrameMaker 9 (on Windows 7). When I click the Commands menu in the Character Designer nothing happens - this menu seems to be dead. Does anyone know the solution to this problem?

This sounds like a bug from an early FM9 release, which was fixed in an
update. You need to download and apply the updates, which you can find here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=22&platform=Windows.
Note that there are four of them and they each must be applied in order.

Do the History Panel or Command menu record items work in code view?

I am using Dreamweaver CS6 version 12 on a 2.33 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo iMac running OS X 10.6.8.
When I attempt to use the History Panel or the Command menu items "Start Recordings" or "Play Recorded Commands" in code view they do not work. Can these tools be used in code view?

Well, I found Dreamweaver for Windows and Dreamweaver CC (which I assume is Creative Cloud) but I didn't find a Dreamweaver for Mac forum. The other two just didn't seem to be appropriate.
I find the forums difficult to navigate.

Unfortunately, those slideshows aren't all that flexible. I
don't think
that Adobe supplies the source for the Flash slideshows. But
if you use
the spry slideshow, you should be able to edit the HTML in
Dreamweaver to
add links.

Add Command Menu Item in the Menu Panal

Hi,
I want to create a nother Command Menu Item in the Menu Panal without drag a view to it , because i want to put some image only. So, How i can do it ?

Weird message when I click the Commands menu in DW. Help please

Dreamweaver 8 (trial) was working perfectly for days. After
installing a
test expansion (trial too, to figure out if I could do what
Id like to
do in the future with DW and the expansion) I started to get
the
following problem. Of course I disabled then removed the
expansion but I
still have the problem.
The problem:
All seems to work perfectly except, when I try to open the
Commands menu
I get an error message box saying:

You can try this simple fix -
Quit DW.
Find this file -
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
(these folders are normally hidden - you may have to use
Explorer > Tools >
Folder Options to unhide them)
and delete it.
Restart DW. Works better?

Commands Menu in Designers in FM10 is dead...Still

I just purchased Frame Maker 10. I am going through some tutorials and cannot get the Commands Drop-Down/Pop-Up menu to work at all. I am stuck in the tutorial because I cannot move on without the need of this function.
I have searched and found that there is a history of this issue in previous versions of FM, which was solved with updates. So, I downloaded all updates available. Framemaker update function even states that I don't need any updates.
So, does anybody out there have a solution for this?

OK, I guess, I uploaded all of the "add-ins", not "updates". I am running Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1, 64-Bit O/S, 6GB RAM, with an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU, Ef630 @ 2.53GHz . I'm thinking that this should be working.
The reference I was referring to is through the link below. This person had the same problem I am having, only in FM9.

Their solution was an update to a bug found in FM9.

So I went to the same sight and downloaded all of the available downloads(add-ins) for FM10, knowing it probably wasn't going to do anything but, take up space, use up ram, and slow me down, but still I tried it, hoping. And, as I expected, it didn't fix the problem. I didn't try downloading anything from previous versions, figuring that all of those updates were solved issues in FM10.

Launch Outlook mail client from KM resource command menu

Hi,
I'd like to launch the Outlook mail client by clicking on the command (eg. send mail) in the action menu related to a KM resource (in the KM explorer).
I've been able to launch the Outlook mail client as an option in the Collaboration Launch Path, but the Java Class used in there, doesn't seem to work with KM resources.
Any idea?

Missing command menu items - blur

in ps cs6 there are some menu items, such as FILTER / BLUR / FIELD & IRIS & TILT, which are missing from configuators choices in the command list. i just wanted to confirm that missing items will be added in revisions past configurator 3.1, thanks.

Configurator 3.1 does not add these missing items. Configurator can not get all the items of Photoshop, therefore, some of them are missing. I'm sorry for that.

Suddenly some menu items have gone dead or gone - why?

I've been using this for days with no problem, but suddenly two of my menu items (volume and input menu) went dead.
I logged out and logged in and they are gone from the menu.
If I go into preferences I cannot keep the box to put them into the menu checked.
I didn't change anything at all. This just suddenly happened.
Other menu items have disappeared too - like the network, bluetooth, etc.
Anybody have any idea what is up?

I believe I have a similar problem that seems to have just occurred. My signal strength indicator for my airport has disappeared and my bluetooth symbol has relocated. I am speaking of the Menu Indicators Bar located in the upper right hand corner of my main screen. The only changes I have made was recent download updates. Is this your same problem?

I have a question about Execute Commands and internal macro language in SB1.
I want know how to use this function.
Many times I send question to SB1 Support Center about Execute commands , but still no answer.
I never find any good description this function of SB1.
Have anyone knowledge about Execute Commands in SB1?.

In SAP Business One help file I find only this text:
'Use this function to execute automatic procedures based on the defined files. Processes are first defined (in an internal macro language) and can then be executed automatically.
Please contact your SAP Business One Support Center before you try to use this function.'

SAP support note 733233 says:
"The Execute Commands option is an old function which was relevant before the SDK tools were available.
This function is being use in Israel localization only."
I would assume that it is only still there to keep compatibility with some old customers who were using it. I don't think it would be a good idea to try and use it for any new developments.

Edit command menu and the Find option

How can I delete the 'find' and the 'find again' option, so annoying that more or less, every time I try to type a message, or press shift to get a capital letter, this so annoying box appears and what I am typing continues in the text box of this 'find'. I justy want to get rid of this 'helpful item'

Command script doesn't show in Fl CS4 menu

I have a command script (framesSelected.jsfl - the code is
below) which outputs information about frames selected to the
output panel, which I find very useful. With CS4 (Windows XP), when
I place the jsfl file in the (suggested in the manual) folder
(C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS4\en\Configuration\Commands)
I expect it to show in the command menu as it did in CS3. It
doesn't. Can anybody tell me why, and what I must do now to get it
to show?
