Comment menu doesn't appear...?

In Acrobat Pro 9.4.1 for Mac, the Comments menu is not showing, nor is the Comment panel available. Also, in the Forms menu, the only available menu choice is "Manage Forms Data." It's as though someone has customized the application to hide certain menus and menu choices. I'm not aware of a way to do this in Acrobat, though, only in PhShop, InDesign, etc.

You may have to uninstall Acrobat, and install it again. That may be the simplest solution.
You could try mucking around removing Acrobat preferences, but that's an undocumented and hit-or-miss approach.

Spry menu doesn't appear in Yahoo! browser

I built a spry menu into my website in dreamweaver. I then
used the 'Check Page' function, and have checked it myself within
Safari and Internet Explorer and the page seems to work fine. I
have since found out though, that when accessing the website
through BT's Yahoo! browser the menu doesn't show, meaning that
visitors to my website only see the homepage. Does anybody know how
I can rectify this problem, since this browser is not listed within
the 'Check Page' function.

Pop Up Menu Doesn't Appear

Hi, I put together a navbar in Fireworks and added a 6 item
vertical pop up menu to one of the buttons. I used the advice from
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/fireworks/articles/fw8_popups.html
I did it once and it worked fine, then had to redo it in
Fireworks and re-exported it to DW based on the instructions above.
Now the pop up menu won't appear when I preview the revised webpage
that includes the new navbar. When I preview the navbar in
Fireworks or DW everything's fine so I seem to have built it
correctly in FW. The problem seems to just be when I add it into
the webpage in DW. I'm using Insert > Image Objects >
Fireworks HTML and select the htm file that was created by the
export but it won't work!! I get the proper rollovers for all the
buttons but not for the one with the pop up and no pop ups at all.
Also, when I insert it into the webpage in DW design view I get the
buttons randomly separated by spaces across the cell (but the
positioning is fine when previewed) and all of the pop up submenu
items appear below it as name anchors.
Anyone have any tips?

Trying to print comments but 'Commenting' option doesn't appear in Preferences in Adobe. Using Mac OSX.6.8

Hi all
I need to print off some student work in PDF form showing the comments they have added BUT when I go to the "preference" menu in Adobe, the "Commenting" option just isn't there! Any idea why? Any way round it? I'm on a Mac using OS10.6.8, Adobe version 9.3.2.

Sorry – new to this. I just have Adobe Reader, version 9.3.2. The site I looked for help from was an Acrobat Help site. It directed me to the Preferences menu and referred to (and showed) a "Commenting" option which just isn't there on my screen. The page is here:

"Versions" menu doesn't appear

According to: OS X Lion: About Auto Save and Versions, when I click the document name in the title bar of a Mavericks app, I should see a Versions menu with options such as Lock, Duplicate, and Browse All Versions.
I don't. For example, in Text Edit 1.9 (310) under Mac OS X 10.9.4, when I hover over the title bar in a Text Edit document, the down-pointing triangle does appear, but when I click the document name in the title bar, a box pops up with the editable fields Name and Tags, a drop-down menu called Where, and a checkbox called Locked. How do get the Versions menu to appear?

It's a known issue that if iPhoto is left open it does not get backed up by Time Machine. So if you have been in the habit of leaving iPhoto open all the time then you will need to change your workflow. Also report your issue to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html with the details.
If keeping iPhoto open all the time is necessary you can create a new library just for the book, move the photos for it from your primary library to it using iPhoto Library Manager (which will also copy over the keywords, titles, faces and places, etc) and then close the book library when you're not woking on it. This also creates a smaller library that is easier to archive in case you might want to order another book at a later date. See Old Toad's Tutorial #9a - Archiving an iPhoto 7/8 Book for Editing and/or Ordering at a Later Date.

Context menu doesn't appear when right click on VPN connection

Hi,
You can delete the network profile using the next command.
netsh wlan delete profile name="HomeNetwork"
Then you can reconnect to the network again and choose the type you want to.
If you don't know the name of the profile, use the next command.
netsh wlan show profiles

NORTON 360 IDENTITY SAFE MENU DOESN'T APPEAR. HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

None of the features of Norton 360 Identity Safe seem to work after I upgraded to Firefox 4.0. How can I fix this, or do I have to go back to the previous version of FF?

Symantec have made an update for their add-ons to work in Firefox 4, but they only listed them as compatible with Firefox 4.0, they need to update them to let them work in Firefox 4.0.1. The option of video doesn´t appear in my ipod menu and can´t install videos

I have an ipod 60gb but in menu doesn´t appear videos option. I installed itunes 6 and quicktime 7.
itunes have videos and play videos but in the ipod not.

Are you sure you have a video iPod? Apple have released a 60GB iPod before that was only a colour. If you are sure, go to setting, main menu (2nd down) and find video. Press it and return to the main menu.

Help - Browser menu won't appear

My phone is the BB curve (8300 I believe).
This problem started about two weeks ago, and I have no idea what caused it or how to fix it.
When I'm in my internet brower, and I click the "BB" key to bring up the menu (to enter a new webaddress, select text, copy or paste), the menu doesn't appear.
Instead, my cursor just disappears.
If I hit enter the cursor comes back, but I can't get that menu to come up and it's kind of frusterating.
I have tried deleting recently installed apps, shutting down, pulling the battery, etc., but nothing seems to work.
And it's not that the "BB" key itself is broken or anything because it only doesn't work in the browser.
Anyone experiencing anything similar or have any ideas how to fix this?

Hi and welcome to the forums!
I suggest re- registering your device and resend service books.
Go to options advanced options, Host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT click on any listing.
Press menu key, and select register now. You will get a verification message.. Then go to email settings and send service books. (see attached link.)
You will get an email per account. Repeat the battery pull and see if the problem is
resolved.

What is "Adobe XI" - Reader, or Acrobat?
But either way, 'Save as Adobe PDF' is a Word function, independent of what Adobe software you have installed.

Stop doesn't appear on the menu bar on Version 29.0.1. How do I install it?

Stop doesn't appear on the menu bar on Version 29.0.1 and I can't find the icon in the customize menu. It just seems to have disappeared. I would also like words under the menu icons. Also the reload icon can't be moved or customized.
I JUST HATE IT WHEN WEBSITES COME OUT WITH A NEW "STREAMLINED" APPEARANCE. IT ALWAYS MEANS FEWER FEATURES AND MORE TROUBLE TO USE.

Pop-up menu - Arrow Image for submenu doesn't appear in DW/IE

Hello all,
I created a pop-up menu with submenus in Fireworks MX 2004
=> this is displayed fine in a preview in FW.
I then exported this image and html files to a subdir within
my website. I then used the following to insert it into my template
file:
Insert => Image => Fireworks HTML => selected the
html file exported in FW.
My problem is, when I try to preview the page in IE (via DW
MX 2004), the pop-up menu and submenus are all ok....BUT...
the small arrow (image) to link between the First menu level
and the second submenu doesn't appear -> instead the generic
image appears (as in file not found). Looking at the code on the
template page, the file is "arrows.gif" and the path looks ok in
the file.
Note that MM_menu.js and the arrows.gif and all other
exported files (from FW) are in the same directory.
mm_menu_0510135640_0.childMenuIcon="../images/photogallery/arrows.gif";
It seems as though the path for the arrows.gif isn't right -
any ideas where?
