Today! I have a few comments about the objective error iOS 7.0

Also as simple to use application photo of about 4 minutes, iOS 7.0 on iPhone 4s was overheat and battery from 100% use 4 minutes to 96%, so quickly. In the lock screen (not control center) when playing song, I just press forward 1 song very difficult, strong problem. On Safari, I can not adjust the font size in Reader. why have app Facetime on iPhone 4, iPhone 4s?
Hopefully, Apple can continue to fix bugs in iOS 7 for the client and myself. On the iPad 3 and iPad 4 are also many more errors such as freezes, slow to open applications, the iOS app does not fit 7 tablet.

Open Question: question to those who comment about the lack of apps for Windows Phone 8

We have read every Lumia review and we are listening. An open question to those who comment about the lack of apps for Windows Phone 8.Tell us which apps you miss? Nokia/MSFT Customer Care

The major apps that are missing are Banking Apps. There are a few, but major banks like Regions Bank, Capital One Bank, are nowhere to be found for Windows Phone. Microsoft should be pursuing these banks to develop apps for the platform. Maybe bribe them with free software or tech support or something. Also some of the dating apps like Grindr for the gay community, Blender for the straight community, are lacking as well. Perhaps Microsoft could assist them in developing the "unified" app for both Windows and Windows Phone?
In fact, Microsoft would do well to begin a "Developer Assistance Program" where developers could (for a small fee) contact the DAP Center and get assistance with issues creating apps for the Windows Platform. If developers know they have a source to go for assistance, they may be more inclinded to develop better apps.

About the Forums Redesign

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Forum reskin private beta. We received a lot of very helpful feedback that went a long way in helping us really understand what is most valuable and important to all of our members.
The Adobe Forums have not had a major design update since we originally launched on the Jive platform back in 2009. However, with the launch of Adobe Creative Suite 6 and the Adobe Creative Cloud, we expect that the Adobe Forums will become an even more essential resource for the entire Adobe community.

"the new theme is still not 100% perfect" and so I deliberately waited with my answer a little bit. In addition to this my previous speakers have mentioned, I'll show you the graphical representation on MY computer:

Question about the forum and my email

Every time I visit the forum ,no matter what i do,submit new messages ,search tutorials and etc,I always receive a email correspondingly.
So I can receive a lot of new emails that are not important for me.I 'd like to cancel this function,How can i config the forum,can anyone give me a hand ?

Uncheck the 'E-mail me if someone replies to this" checkbox toward the bottom of the message creation page (just below the Submit Post button). You can also set up to have the notification turned off in your member profile setup options.

Tethering via USB between the Z10 and a laptop or PC & and few Comments About the Playbook Tethering

Tethering via USB between the Z10 and a laptop or PC can be a bit tricky.
On the Z10 do the following:
On the Z10 go to the Settings.
Go to Network Connections.
Go to Internet Tethering.
Select USB.
Turn on Tethering.
On the computer run the Blackberry Link software for the Z10:
Once the software starts, connect the Z10 via the USB cable to the PC.
Open the browser.
You should now be able to cruise the net, and do emails.
With the Playbook, the Bluetooth tethering does not yet work. This may be an OS or communications issue.
The best way to tether the Playbook for full speed and functions is using the WiFi option. Simply turn on the WiFi hot spot option and follow the instructions. The Playbook WiFi must also be properly set up. The Z10 USB and Bluetooth tethering mode must be turned off when using the WiFi mode. You can leave the base Bluetooth active on the Z10. There is a lot of available information about using the WiFi hot spot from the Z10. The process is very similar to the past models of Blackberry phones.
If you use the Bridge mode to tether, the Playbook email client software does not work very well. The browser will work fairly well, but slower with the Bridge mode. With WiFi the Playbook can brows at very high speed. With Bluetooth it is restricted to about 1.5 to 2.5 mb/sec. Take care that the WiFi mode burns through battery time very fast on both the Playbook and the Z10. Using the Bridge mode uses less power consumption than WiFi.
To use the Bridge mode, make sure the Playbook and the Z10 are first Bluetooth mated. Also the Bridge mode has to be set up between the devices. You will have to first install the Bridge software in to the phone for this to work.
I did extensive testing between the Z10 and the Playbook. They function well together as far as Internet and email are concerned, in consideration of using either tether or Bridge, depending on what you want to do.
From what I understand the Bridge mode uses some compression. It will not be as fast as using WiFi or Bluetooth tethering. The data cost using the Bridge mode is probably a bit lower because of the compression.
As far as the Bridge phone options are concerned, these features are not yet available. From what I read in a number of articles there are going to soon be some updates coming out to fix this. The Bridge options are a big part of the tablet application with the Blackberry phone. This was the big original application point of this tablet, otherwise any generic tablet would do the job.

From the look of this thread it appears that no one outside of Canada uses an OS 10 BB yet. 247 views and no comments or help ? I'm sure I'm not the only BB user that uses Tether. If BB doesn't care to help then this will just be another nail in the corporate coffin that has been projected.
Maybe we need different forums for US users as the Canadians don't seem to have the same issues or cares.
The whole idea of the app Tether is not to have to pay the outrageous tethering fees that US carriers charge and it has worked well for years. But it can't work and won't work in the future without help from BB and the BB community.

General comment about using forums for troubleshooting

If most people came to these forums before doing things to their computer, and looked around and even asked a few questions, they probably would not be back here afterwards.
I learned this when I first got Leopard, when the first of the recent Airport updates came out, and with the recent Safari update.
I also learned a huge amount about installing Winders by visiting the bootcamp forum before installing Windows.
Forewarned is forearmed.
The amount of information in these forums is huge and most if it is easily searched for and can often solve a problem before it actually arises.

Hi,
I feel that the discussion forums look and feel has improved and it allows us to chosse only theForums that we need to see and thus eliminates unneccasr sctrolling.
It would be better if OTN Reverts back to the old look and feel as regards showing the Questions and replies posted on that thread.
That way would be easier to see all the details in one strech instead of clicking on the replies...
I hope this would be considered.

Now, I am probably the only one here, who could easily translate your statements. I do not think that Babblefish has a Mississippian to English module. Being from Mississippi, that is the way that I speak. For me, English is a "second language."
With the exception of "ya'll," I do not think that the great Eudora Welty could have done better.
Now, I see similar to what you speak of. There have been Adobe folk drop in here. Back before, and immediately after, the changeover, they seemed to be here often. Now - well, less so, or as most of us can tell.
I would only hope that the MOD's, who do show up here, and not just the ones who work this forum, do speak with Adobe. With the issues in the new forum, I would assume that communication is going both ways and at a good rate - say it's so Red Rider.
Now, will any of us live to see a worthwhile change will remain to be seen. Changes have taken place, but it seems they are little and slow to come. Still, who knows what is in the works?
Not being a programer, my issues with Jive are with the implementations that I see. I have no idea of the code behind it. I leave that to much more capable people. All I care about is the experience that I get from the Adobe fora. Right now, it is not that good, but then I am flexible, and have a few good years left. I'll wait, and hope that the changes come, and are significant.
Keep the faith, and if necessary, I'll translate for others, following along at home for you...

My general comments about the beta

I am using version 1.8.0 Mac OS 10.6.8. Default settings.
Here are my comments:
1) In the library mode we can no longer view by Icon, only list. I like using both. Any chance the Icon list could be restored? If yes it would be great to crontrol the icon size too!
2) With an epub document I made the font size bigger than minimum, the fonts get bigger, but the leading (space between lines) is screwed up, it does not increase as font size size went up.
3) When viewing pdf files I set viewing with screen width, when in this mode it would be nice if cursor key scrolled down the page before changing page, currently cursor key changes page.
Please note: I have been a Digital Editions user since version 1.0; happy to see some effort being put into this!

1) You are using the Mac version of Digital Editions, right? We are considering when to add the view by icon feature (i.e. thumbnail view).
2) We do not see this on our side. Can you please share with us such an epub document?
3) When you click the scroll bar slot, Digital Editions moves half of the screen content up/down. You may use up/down arrow keys or mouse scroll wheel to move content continuously.

Any comments about the Moshi AG screen protector?

Ordered my laptop with a glossy screen. Then found a anti-glare screen protector by the same company that makes one for the keyboard. Has anyone any comments regarding either the keyboard or screen units.

There have been many posts here praising the Moshi keyboard protector, several of them from me. It's thinner, less obstructive, better fitting, holds its shape better, and is less sticky to the touch than any of the silicone protectors, and it doesn't accumulate nearly as much dirt as they do. I switched to it after a month with a silicone protector and would never consider any other kind again. My keyboard looks exactly like it did the day I bought it after fourteen months of heavy use.
The glass covering your screen doesn't need any protection.

Verizon Please comment about the proposed meaning of 'soon' regarding upgrades

Since Verizon is my vendor for 5 phones plus the Xoom and since Verizon sold me the Xoom with a promise of 'soon' for the upgrades could you please define soon for me? According to the people in the store it was a matter of a few weeks. If you cannot tell me when can you please confirm that you are still going to come through with your promise at 'some' point? I am no longer able to return the Xoom and could live with it the way it is without LTE for now but your silence is not very encouraging. Please advise. Do I need to go back to the store to figure this out? They don't seem to know anything there either the last time I checked though.

That's the thing... They say it's upgradable to LTE which honestly mean they are working on it. To say it is and not working on bringing it could be considered false advertising as people like you bought it assuming it would be upgraded at some point. They have backed themselves into a corner to bring an upgrade. It's no guess at all.
Aside from that... well HERE - They are supporting their products... With any software out there NO COMPANY likes to give any hard dates. I have yet to see a software company have a hard date and met it without any hitches.

When I browse this forum as a guest, today's date appears as "Mar 2" (and that was yesterday). When I log in, however, the date is given as (the correct) March 3.

When you're browsing as a guest, click on Guest Settings and change the time zone. This information is stored as a browser cookie and not on the server; therefore, it will need to be repeated for each cookie database instance you use. The settings of an account holder are stored on the server.
