Comments in Keynote 6 is now all about sharing - not Post-it Style notes

Hi all,
In previous versions of Keynote, I frequently used the Yellow Post-it style comments sheets to pin over slides to remind myself of something important - an ersatz Presenter Notes which would cover the slide. I often used it when my next slide was a movie which faded in from black to remind myself of the content of the next slide, rather than staring at a vacant slide.
That seems to have changed in Keynote 6, where the Comment tab now supports comment sharing and is invisible in Presenter mode. What seems worse for me is that in a movie I am trying to use it shows up in my next slide as black, and not even setting a poster view lets me see what the movie is... I now have to use Presenter Notes which I am one of the few who doesn't like or need - I prefer all the real estate to be devoted to my current and next slides or builds.
I'm trying to find a workaround to cue me in to my next slide's content other than presenter notes, so if anyone has discovered one, please let me know.

Thanks for your time providing an answer to my question of essentially missing elements in Keynote 6 which were part of a Keynote 5 workflow.
Because I stand in front of the audience, not at a podium, during my presentations, holding onto a collection of printouts and referring to them during my presentation is a non-starter. Being able to see the slide or build coming up on a presenter display showing on a vanity monitor (nowadays my iPad) is a much less obtrusive means to stay with my story without referring to notes. I was able to do this in KN5 using the Post-It style yellow comment notes.
Comments in KN6 are now more like track change notes in Word in Pages. And more to the point, the movie I have chosen to display shows up as blacked out on the "coming up" slide, even though there it starts immediately rather than from a bacl fade in. That's why I need a comment to place over the slide to remind me of the video.
The "solution" for now is to remain with Keynote 5 (there are APIs broken in KN6 which also prevent me using Viewfinder and Poll Everywhere) and play with KN6 to explore its capabilities. Mission critical work will remain with KN5 until I can find workarounds ot maintain my quality of presentation delivery, and/or Apple returns ommitted features to KN6 in the forthcoming months.
