Commidity code and country of origen

Hello
what is the relation ship b/w the country of origin and commodity code ( imports and as well as sd relented . please help me with business .
@sakhi

there is no relation between commodity code and country of origin beside they are almost always mentioned together in reports or forms that are given to customs and statistical offices.
the commodity code is an intenational nomiclature for materials, the first 6 digits are common world wide. the other digits are more region specific defined e.g. for Nafta, or for european union.
The country of origin play a role in preferences, means if a good is EU origin, then a supplier from the EU you can ship it with low customs duty  than the same good with a chinese origin for example.

  • To get the company code and country grouping attached to a position

    Hi everyone,
I have a position and I need to get the company code and the country grouping that this position is attached to. Could you kindly suggest an FM or a class which would fetch the above data keeping in mind the inheritance tree. That is, if the company code is not maintained in HRP1008, then it should look for the same in the Org Unit that this position belongs to and so on..
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Alpana.

    Hi
Check the A011 relationship of the position and get the cost center, from cost center you can get the company code and country grouping from Cost Center Master CSKS.

  • Is it possible to assign different company code employees(country grouping also different) under same Organizational Unit?

    Hi SAP Experts,
In OM side, Org Unit is linked to company code "GB**" cost center, when we tried to assign new cost center(company code is GB**), system throws error "Company Code changes involves Invalid change of country". I know when we try to assign cost center, belongs to another country company code, this error comes. I checked and found that employees under OU belong to 2 different countries.Few of the employees belong to GB** company code while other employees belong to FI** company code.
Is it possible to assign different company code employees(different country code) to the same OU? if yes, how can we do that?
    Please reply soon

    RG

    Hi RG
"Is it possible to assign different company code employees(different country code) to the same OU? if yes, how can we do that?"
Yes it is possible to assign by creating sub org unit and then assigning cost center based on the company code (and country code)
When the child org unit is created under the Parent org unit - maintain the Account assignment details - cost center details based on the company code of other countries i.e Finland and any positions created it will be under Finland and that way you can choose different countries.
    Example :
Root Org unit : XYZ / OU
Sub Org units : GB  / Finland / Italy / NL   etc with respective cost centers
Sub Org units or positions: GB_HR / GB_Sales etc which will default the cost center from the GB org unit.
In our current clients we have more than 5 + countries under the Root Org unit and then sub org units as each country which are further divided and have respective cost centers assigned.
    best wishes

  • Country codes and contacts

    Hello,
Traveling to the UK soon and am adding the contact info for our lodging, etc into my contact list. I have a Verizon iPhone 4S with an international sim unlock and plan on getting a pay-as-you-go sim with a local number when we arrive. The question is, How should I set up the numbers in my contact list? Should they be entered as local numbers or using the country code (+44)?
    Thanks in advance.
    KV
P.S. Verizon's customer service when I requested the unlock was quite good and they didn't pressure or even ask if I would rather get their international calling plan!

Thank you for explaining it.  I do travel a lot on business and because of the roaming charges I have a factory unlocked iPhone 4S and use local Sim cards most of the time.  when I am in the US like right now, I use a Tmobile card only because AT&T will not sell me a card without a contract and I am not here long enough to make that investment worthwhile.  The downside is that I only get Edge data but most of the time that is better than going without data.
What I do to have my home phone available is put my local Sim Card for my home country in my old iPhone 4 locked to my carrier and have roaming data turned off in that one.  I use the Tmobile to make calls and receive them from US contacts and the iPhone 4 to receive calls from international contacts.
To address your question finally, I always keep all contacts from everywhere with a + sign in front which gets me international access in all countries, then the country code and then the local number.  I keep my contacts list synced in both phones, iPad and 2 macs through iCloud.  there is no problem dialing and reaching local contacts that way even though you don't need to, but it is convenient so that you can access those contacts from everywhere directly from your contacts list.
For example, all my US contacts are written +1(212)1234567, my UK contacts +44123456789, my French contracts +33123456789, etc. and therefore, theynworknfrom everywhere.
I guess I will now investigate whether Verizon will sell me a local US sim with 4G data to use in the US on a monthly plan or better still a pay as you go plan.

  • Deactivation Impact of ISO Code and Vehicle country key

    Hello All,
We have a requirement to use the BSEG-KIDNO in accounting document line item. This field has to do some calculation by using Validation exit. This calculation works fine except for certain countries like Sweden(SE), for which some standard function module is triggering. On further research we have found that by deactivating the country specific checks( Vehicle country key and ISO code) we can deactivate the standard function module and make our validation exit work. This can be acheived by making blank for  "Vehicle Country Key" and ''ISO Codeu201D in OY01 (IMG--> General setting --> Set country --> Define country) for Sweden.
Could you please explain what will be the impact in other areas by deactivating ISO code and Vehicle country key in OY01.
    Appreciate your reply.
    Thanks in advance.
    Prasad

    Hi Prasad,
You should not remove them since
    ISO
The entry is used in countries of the European Community to check the
VAT registration number (VAT reg.no.). You can store the VAT
registration number in the master record of a customer or vendor, or for
    the company code.
The ISO code is used as the country key when exchanging information via
EDI. You must therefore specify the ISO code for each country in this
    field if you use EDI.
The ISO code also controls which additional specifications are relevant
for a company code. You can always only enter the additional details
which are relevant for the company code country or for all countries.
The assignment to the country takes place via the ISO code.
    Vehicle country key
The vehicle country code is a standard key worldwide. It does not depend
on the country in which the SAP System is installed.
The key is therefore used as a basis for accessing country-specific
check routines. Furthermore, it can also be used as a supplement to the
        postal code.
This key should be specified for all entries in the country table.
Can you check the OY17 setting under the Further Checks Bank data check box for working Country and Sweden?

  • Airport Extreme 802.11n reports incorrect Locale and Country Code

I have just replaced my MacBook Pro CoreDuo's Airport Extreme card with a Mac Pro one that gives excellent throughput with 802.11n but, depending upon which channel it connects to the wireless router, System Profiler displays a weird selection of locales and country codes (e.g. locale: RoW, country code X2) .... perhaps this does't matter ... perhaps it does as other threads here report not being able to make a connection when an available channel is supposed not to be available in the incorrectly reported country.
What controls this (incorrect) choice and how can it be fixed?
    System Profile of en1:
Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x88)
    Firmware Version: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (5.10.91.19)
    Locale: RoW
    Country Code: X2
    Supported PHY Modes: 802.11 a/b/g/n

    AirPort-Guy wrote:
The Locale is programmed into the card. If you bought your Mac Pro in a country other than where you are currently living, and you are using the card that came with it, you could be violating your country's wireless regulations.
Actually this is not entirely correct.
Rather the Mac sets its AirPort country code based upon the first beacon packet containing regulatory domain information received when the Mac starts passively listening to incoming packets after the AirPort interface is enabled.
RoW does stand for "rest of world" and the "X" domains are temporary used ones when searching for regulatory domain information.
So if you're seeing your Mac's AirPort card programmed to a different country code regulatory domain than it should be, it's because someone near you is using an illegal wireless access point/router.

  • Table that links country tax code and jurisdict.code

Which is the table that links country, tax code and jurisdict.code.

This could be one way of finding what countries are using the tax codes:
    1. Determine all the countries where the calculation procedure TAXEUR has been assigned to
    2. Execute report "S_ALR_87012365"
    3. Enter Country code in the selection screen and hit execute
    4. The report will display all the tax codes created for the country
    5. Manually check if the tax code exists in the list
An other way to do this which you might already know is to use FTXP and view the tax codes in the drop down list.
    I hope this helps.

  • HUB showing contact number with country code and not with its name..blackberry Z10 STL100-2

I have an issue with Text Messages and call lists, in my blackberry Z10 (STL100-2), which is, If I have not saved my contact numbers without country code, the msg may appear in local formate (w/o country code), and it also appear as International formate (another times), and though the number is same (only saperate is country code) in the hub, it appear as two conversation. for eg: if I sent txt to 9899100 (w/o country code), reply used to come as +960-9899100. or vice-versa.
So its very difficult. and here i came for help.
You might know a lot what we do not know as we do know a lot you do not know. Asking is the way to get to know....

The movies were all on my SD card. They are also not backed up by Link which is why had them synced to my phone as a poor man's backup.
So either Link did not backup the necessary licensing information in the main memory of my phone, or Link did not synchronize the necessary licensing information off my SD card. Either way I am stuck with 3 movies that I cannot play, because I can no longer find them in the BlackBerry World store to re-dowbload whatever licensing information is needed.
I even just tried a media restore from Link because it was 138 MB in size (and in don't normally store anything on my phone's main storage), but alas no licensing information was restored.

  • AAR and Country Codes

    Hi all,
We are about to deploy CallManager 4.1(3) in Europe, supporting several offices:
    Paris (country code 33)
    Munich (country code 49)
    London (country code 44)
My question is about using AAR between these offices. Let's assume we have the following dial plan:
Paris: ext. 1111, external phone number 1111-1111
Munich: ext. 2222, external phone number 2222-2222
London: ext. 3333, external phone number 3333-3333
If Paris is dialing Munich and AAR kicks in, Paris will need to dial access code (00) + country code (49) + Ext. Phone Number (2222-2222).
I can put the 00 in the AAR Group, however I can't put the 0049 in the AAR group, because if Paris needs to dial London in the same scenario they will need to dial access code (00) + country code (44) + Ext. Phone Number (3333-3333).
I think each physical phone can only get 1 AAR group.
It appears to me I have two choices:
    1. Put the country code in the External Phone Mask config, so (for example) Munich's Ext. Phone Number would be 49-2222-2222 and London's would be 44-3333-3333. The Paris' AAR Group would simply be 00.
    2. Put translation patterns in each office. So - in AAR - when Paris dials 00-2222-2222 I translate it to 00-49-2222-2222 and when they dial 00-3333-3333 I translate it to 00-44-3333-3333.
#2 seems like it does not scale well at all. #1 seems to work well, does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone hit this before?
    Thanks - Rob.

AAR group dialing prefixes are used between two groups at any time. So you can define the country codes in the AAR prefix specified in the group.
So you will have three AAR groups (each go under the appropriate phone's line configuration)
AARParis will use 0049 to AARMunich
AARMunich will use 0033 to AARParis
AARParis will use 0044 to AARLondon
AARLondon will use 0049 to AARMunich
AARMunich will use 0044 to AARLondon
AARLondon will use 0033 to AARParis.
Refer to SRND for best practices on AAR.

You entered a tax code which is not defined for the country of the company code to be posted to in the tax calculation procedure.
    System Response
    Procedure
Check and, if necessary, correct the entry.
    Procedure for System Administration
If it is not an input error, check and possibly change the system settings.
To do this, choose Maintain entries (F5).
Check whether the company code is assigned to the correct country and whether the correct tax calculation procedure has been entered for the company code country.
Create a new tax code if necessary.
    Caution:
Since it is possible that the tables in question are being updated at a different time on another computer, it can take a certain amount of time for the tax code to be on all local machines in client server architectures after saving the new code.

  • Tax code A0 country IN does not exist in procedure ZTAXIN-Message no. FF713

While posting customer invoice using output tax code A* for country IN, I get the following error message:
Tax code A0 country IN does not exist in procedure ZTAXIN
    Message no. FF713
The tax procedure ZTAXIN is assigned to comp code, taxes are configured and everything seems to be fine. The procedure has been manually created (for service tax purposes) and I am wondering whether the procedure might be wrong. Or there are any other settings missing in customizing?
The input tax is working fine, the problem is related only when I use outout tax.
Does anybody have an idea what else could be checked?
    Thanks,
