Commited Date in Delivery Schedule of a PO

Hi All,
I have created a PO for a country XX to a Country YY
I have defined a Route from XX to YY with a transit time of 5 days and also factory calendar of XX as calendar.
When i create a PO from XX to YY , in Delivery Schedule of the PO , i see the commited date of delivery considers Sunday and Saturday also.
But the business does not want to conisder sundays and saturdays, How does the commited date determined in PO?
The factory calendar of XX does not consider Sat and sunday but the Confirmed delivery date shows Sunday ?
Please advice!!
Thanks,
Kumar

Dear Kumar,
As per my understanding about your thread
You created PO from XX country to YY country
You will recieve the delivery fromm YY to XX so the delivery date and comitted date will be based on the YY calendar not based on the XX calendar so you make the changes accordingly (Saturdat and sunday are holiday) in YY calendar.
Now try
I hope this will help you,
Regards,
Murali.

  • Delivery date in Delivery Schedules

    Dear Experts,
We run MRP in MD02 to gerenarate delivery schedule lines.
How the delivery date in delivery schedule is calculated?
Is it possible to setup so that irrespective of MRP run date, all delivery dates should be Monday OR Friday in Delivery Schedules?
Awaiting a reply from the experts.
    Regards,
    Shahsidhar

    Dear Experts,
The purpose here is to consolidate all deliveries on one day.
When MRP is run, delivery schedules lines should be created with delivery dates as only Monday/Wednesday.
How can we achieve this? Any suggestions are welcome

  • Committed date in delivery schdule ?

    hii
    Some body can explai nme
From where the committed date is fetched in delivery schedule tab in item detail level in PO??
    Thanks

Commitment dates switch for calculation rule
Key that controls how the commitment quantities should be calculated per sales document type.
    Use
The commitment date is calculated using the delivery time for releases to contracts with delivery times, or sales orders that refer to quotations containing delivery times. The committed quantity results from the agreed delivery time or the confirmed quantity, according to the calculation rule set here.
    Dependencies
You can set the following calculation rules:
    A: Consider agreed delivery time
Here, all required schedule lines are committed for the date that lies at the agreed distance from the delivery time, according to the date on which the order was placed. If the customer requests a later date, this can be confirmed. The confirmation does not affect the calculation. If you do not enter a delivery time, the system does not calculate a committed quantity.
    B: First confirmation date
The committed quantity is calculated according to the first confirmed quantities. If a delivery time exists for the item, the system takes it into account, as in calculation rule A, and confirms the earlier date. The commitment date is recalculated if the material, quantity, first date, or delivery time change. The quantities confirmed then are valid once the document has been saved.
    C: First confirmation date
Rule C is the same as calculation rule B but for new items. If you save a document again but the system can confirm more for the customer, the more favorable situation will be saved as the commitment. As in rule B, the commitment date will be recalculated if changes are made to the material, quantity, requested delivery date, or delivery time.
    No entry
Commitment dates are not calculated or displayed.

  • GR Date for Delivery Schedule line

    Vendor On-Time Delivery Report
We have vendor On-Time Delivery report requirement, where we rate the
goods-delivery of a vendor as "On-Time" or "Early" or "Late". The
rating is given based on the difference between "Statistical Delivery
date" and "GR date" (in the PO/Scheduling Agreement).
In case of Scheduling Agreement (SA) we have to give delivery rating
for each Delivery Schedule Line - Based on the difference
between "Statistical Delivery date" and "GR date"
The Goods Receipt is done at Schedule line item level and not at
Delivery Schedule Item level, the GR date is not populated at Delivery
Schedule Line level and we are not able to find the GR date for each
    Delivery Schedule Line.
Once we get the "GR date" at SA Delivery Schedule line level, then from
the difference between this date and "Statistical Delivery" date, we
can rate the delivery of vendor as "On-Time" or "Early" or "Late".
Is there any way that we can populate/get the GR date (GR creation date) for each delivery
    schedule line?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Rahul,
I am working on the same requirement. Appreciate ur help on the same. The notes helps in understanding how quantities are distributed while GR. did u implemented any logic for this distribution or something else to compare the dates. I believe by checking the open quantity (EKET) (scheduled - GR quantity) we can see if there is open quantity for any schedule for the previous day then tht falls under the delayed quantity and if there is zero open quantity, it is on time delivery.
    thnx,
    Upender

  • Master data for Delivery Schedules for Scheduling agreements

At the link below, under the scheduling agreements with delivery schedules section, the integration section indicates that data comes in from 3 sources, one of which is master data.  Does this mean that the delivery schedule can be maintained in master data somewhere?  If so, where do you maintain it?  Getting the delivery schedule from EDI, or entering it manually, is not an option for our business requirements.

  • Scheduling agreement, unnecessary delivery schedule lines

    Hello
We use Scheduling agreements for purchasing spare parts. The MRP run checks the warehouse requirements and creates delivery schedule line to scheduling agreement.
Now the MRP run creates unnecessary delivery schedule lines to scheduling agreement if the earlier created delivery schedule line's delivery date has been changed manually.
    For example,
Today the MRP run finds requirement for one article  and creates the delivery schedule line, where delivery date is 2.9.2008 (determined from articles basic data).
The Vendor confirms the delivery date as 3.10.2008 and the purchaser changes manually  (transaction ME38) the delivery date to delivery schedule line accordingly and prints the created message.
The next MRP run creates new delivery schedule line, where delivery date is again 2.9.2008.
now there are two open delivery schedule lines for this article with delivery dates 3.10.2008 and 2.9.2008.
Why the MRP run does not notice the existing delivery schedule line with the new delivery date 3.10.2008?
we have changed delivery dates manually several years and this has never happened before.
could you please help me to resolve this.
    Thanks in advance,
    Srikanth

In addition to the above post,
as you changed the date manually from 2nd to 3rd....
so there are was no report for 2nd generated ulitmately...and if generated it was changed...right...
so when you again run the mrp...the system will generate one more pr for the same article....
this ultimately happens because of the set del dates in the MMR as i told above..
    Hope it helps..

  • Tracking the changes in Scheduling agreement delivery schedule

With Scheduling agreements, when goods receipt is done at receiving, system will validate against the Scheduled qty and delivery dates. If there is excess qty received, they need to either change the qty or the date to receive the same.
Now current process at one customer is the vendor evaluation is done based on his ability to send exact required qty on precise date. So if the required qty is shipped / received on the scheduled date, vendor gets 1 point, if not vendor gets zero points. So both qty & date have to be correct for vendor to get 1 point, if either is wrong he gets a zero point.
Now in our SA scenario, we are saying that in case goods are received in excess or if goods are received a day earlier, in order to perform the goods receipt, change the qty/date in SA. If this qty/date is changed to receive the goods, how can we later go into system and see whether supplier shipped as per expected qty & date?
My understanding is we can keep track of date change, by using Statistical date in delivery schedule, but how can we keep track of qty change ?
    Thanks
    Dinesh

    Hi dinesh
I dont know exactly this helps you or not but pl try this to track the changes of your SA.
    1.Go in ME2m.
    2.Enter material,plant,po.
3.In scope of list enter "RAHM"
    4.Then press "Choose" tab
    5.Only select SA.
    6.Execute.
    7.Select SA and press"changes":
I think this will show you all changes made for your SA.
    regards

  • Is it possible to add new delivery schedule with bapi_change_po?

    Hi all,
We're able to update PO existing line item and delivery schedule date with BAPI_CHANGE_PO. However we can't find any way to add new delivery date (under delivery schedule tab, in PO) for multiple delivery schedule scenario.
please advise is it to do so with BAPI_CHANGE_PO or we should try other approach to do it. Thanks.

Use the BAPI "BAPI_PO_CHANGE".  New delivery schedule information can be filled in the structures POSCHEDULE & POSCHEDULEX.
    poschedule-po_item = <item_number>
    poschedule-sched_line = <new schedule Line>.
    poschedule-delivery_date = <delivery_date>.
    poschedule-quantity = <schedule quantity>.
    append poschedule.
    poschedulex-po_item = <item_number>
    poschedulex-sched_line = <new schedule Line>.
    poschedulex-po_itemx = 'X'.
    poschedulex-sched_linex = 'X'.
    poschedule-delivery_date = 'X'.
    poschedule-quantity = 'X'.
    append poschedulex.

  • Want to change Del Date and Goods Issue date in Delivery scdl tab of PO

    Hi Gurus,
I am in a situation wherein i need to change the Goods Issue date in Delivery schedule tab of Purchase Order and make it equivalent to Delivery date in the same tab.
Currently the Goods issue date that is taken by default will always be one day after the Delivery date.
Where is the control for this???
    Regards,
    Trishul

    Hi Jürgen,
Thanks for your response. You are right. The Process is STO.
The delivery has not been created as yet.  Everything is happening while creating the PO. The settings are such that the delivery date will be taken by the system automatically by doing the Availability check and simultaneously the goods issue date will be updated. But it will be one day later to the delivery date. But i want this to be same.
Incase if i change the Goods Issue date manually, this is the message i get "Goods issue cannot be carried out in the past"
    Message no. V1062
Please let me know if i am not clear.

  • Delivery schedule change tracking by MRP

    Hi,
I would like to know if/how it is possible to track changes of delivery schedules (in scheduling agreements) done by MRP runs.
For us it seems that when doing manual changes we can monitor the change log properly. However changes done by MRP are not tracked. Our aim is to trigger workflow events based on particular changes of qties in the delivery schedules. But without this the WF event is not being triggered.
Do you experience similar issue with DS changes by MRP and any ideas how to resolve it?
    Regards,
    Dominik Modrzejewski

    Hi,
Would you know if/which user-exit or any other functionality can be called during MRP runs to manipulate the data at delivery schedules?
I was trying eg. 'EXIT_SAPMM06E_013' or 'EXIT_SAPMM61X_001' but without success.

  • Doubts in statistic Delivery Date and Commited Date in STO PO

    Hi,
I would like to know statistic delivery date and Commited Delivery date in STO PO.
    2 different type of date is displaying STO PO like;
    1. We are getting statistic delivery as "09.02.9999" and Commited Date as "09.02.2011"
    2. 1. We are getting statistic delivery as "09.02.9999" and Commited Date as "09.02.9999"
Could you explain, where we are maintiang those date and how it is displaying in PO Delivery schedule line?
    Thanks.
    Dhanush.

When you create a PO, then the statistical delivery date is set equally to the delivery date.
the statistical delivery date is automatically changed if you change the delivery date before you have outputted the PO.
After you outputted the PO, the statistical delivery date has to be changed manually by the user if he changes the delivery date.
the idea behind this is because of the vendor evaluation, the vendor evaluation is done with the statistical delivery date.
as long you have not printed/faxed/mailed the PO to your vendor, then the statistical delivery date is changed automatically with a delivery date change.
But after a transmission you always have to ask yourself, who is responsible for the change in the delivery date.
If it is you, then you have to change the statistical delivery date to the new delivery date manually, to avoid that the vendor gets valuated against the wrong delivery date. But if it is because the vendor cannot meet the delivery date, then you change the delivery date to have an accuracy for planning, but you keep the old date in the statistical delivery date to valuate the vendor against it.

  • Delivery schedule dates are coming in Past dates

    Hi Friends,
In the Scheduling Agreements the delivery schedule dates are coming in the past dates even tough the scheduling agreements are having new schedules. There is also open quantities there for the scheduling agreements.
please kindly explain me what is the delivery schedule date in Scheduling Agreement.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Kannan M

    Hi Khan,
Just check this thease might be the reasons to get correct the delivery schedule.
To access a delivery schedule, mark a scheduling agreement item and choose Goto ® Item ® .
The following data is displayed in the delivery schedule tabstrip:
    ·        Delivery schedule number and date
    ·        A wide range of standard cumulative quantities
    ·        Delivery information
To display deliveries for the delivery schedule, choose Deliveries on the delivery schedule tabstrip.
In scheduling agreements involving external agents, the system displays deliveries made to the customer by external agents as consignment issues.
    ·        Correction delivery information
To display or create correction deliveries, choose Corr. delivery on the delivery schedule tabstrip.
    ·        An analysis function
    ·        Information at a glance
To display a summary of delivery schedule data, choose Short disp. on the delivery schedule tabstrip.
    ·        Schedule lines
Choose DlvSch.Hdr on the delivery schedule tabstrip to access the delivery schedule header. The following data is displayed here:
    ·        Information on quantities received by the customer
    ·        Information on the customer fiscal year and cumulative quantities reset due to a year change
    ·        A wide range of cumulative go-ahead quantities
    ·        Notes on the delivery schedule
    Correcting Cumulative Delivered Quantities
    Prerequisites
You correct cumulative quantities in scheduling agreements:
    ·        In case of returns
    ·        When there has been a processing error
    ·        When there has been a year change
    ·        When you are transferring initial quantities from a legacy system into the SAP System
To do this, you create a correction delivery within the delivery schedule itself. This delivery is not relevant for requirements planning, shipping, goods issue, or billing.
Correct cumulative quantities only when the customer has not posted goods receipt.
    Procedure
To create a correction delivery (document type LFKO):
           1.      Choose Corr. delivery on the delivery scheduletabstrip.
The system displays a dialog box in which you enter a:
    -         Correction delivery date
For help on deciding where you want to position the correction delivery, choose Display. The system lists delivery dates in chronological order.
    -         Correction quantity
Enter a negative correction quantity by placing a minus sign after the quantity.
           2.      Choose Enter and save the scheduling agreement.
    Result
When you save the correction delivery, the system updates the cumulative quantities in the delivery schedule.
To display correction deliveries, choose Deliveries on the delivery schedule tabstrip, or  Environment ®  Display document flow.
    Example
Your customer returns 200 pieces of material from a delivery made on 7/10 because of damage during transport. Several other deliveries have been made before you prepare the correction delivery, so you view a list and choose an appropriate date. In this case you decide on 7/14 because it occurs after the delivery on 7/10 and before the delivery on 7/15.

  • In V_V2 the role of Sort Item by date of creation and Sort by delivery date of earliest schedule line for the Sales Orders when Material is out of Stock.

    Hi All,
    Good Morning,
I am working on once Incident for Re-Scheduling Program V_V2 where the user has requested us to change the criteria for determining the priority of Sales Document based on Sort Item by date of creation. Currently they are using the Sort by delivery date of earliest schedule line in the Variant.
I would like to know the role these both options play in the Re-Scheduling program V_V2. I would like to know the impact of both of them and the kind of testing I need to perform to study the behaviour of Sales Orders especially when the material is out of stock?
Please explain with help of examples.
    Thanks
    Farhan.

This is not that simple that an example would explain how this transaction works but I'll give you some examples.
Material A has SO1 and SO2 of 10KG each, stock is 20KG so both quantities are confirmed at today. A stock recount determines a reduction to 5KG. This program would change confirmed quantity of SO1 to 5KG and SO2 to 0KG if:
Creation date of SO1 is older then SO2 in strategy 1
1st delivery date of SO1 is smaller then SO2 in strategy 2
Material B has SO1 and SO2 with 10KG each but no quantity confirmed, stock is 0KG. A prodution adds 15KG to stock. The program would change confirmed quantities of SO1 to 10KG and SO2 to 5KG if:
Creation date of SO1 is older then SO2 in strategy 1
1st delivery date of SO1 is smaller then SO2 in strategy 2
I'm assuming a specific configuration, there are many other scenarios possible.
    regards,
    Edgar
