Commitments from Requisitions

We have a purchase requisition with split account assignment to three different WBS elements.  A purchase order was created for this requisition, but the requisition still shows up on the Commitment Line Items for Projects report.   The committed costs on the project are now overstated because costs show up with a reference document of the purchase order and the purchase requisition.
This is only a problem with split account assignments.  We think this may be caused by recent SAP patches.  Has anyone else experienced this?  How can we get the requisition to zero out after purchase order has been generated?
Thanks so much,
Kay Clyburn

    Hi,
We are using classic scenario in SRM 5.0.
We are using desired vendor in the purchase requisition, whenever the Purchase requisition is moving into the SRM Sourcing cockpit. We are unable to see the source of supply.
Source of supply is missing in sourcing cockpit (SOCO).
desired vendor number which is not updating, instead it is showing empty.
I have found some BADI like BBP_SOS_BADI and BBP_SOS_BADI_ICC, this BADI will trigger when a shopping cart has contract GUID, but we donu2019t have contract for this purchase requisition.
Could you please tell me the BADI or user EXIT name, by using this BADI I can populate the populate the source of supply and vendor in SOCO.

  • Creating Asset from Requisition???

I need to know the detailed steps to create a Fixed Asset from Requisition (iProc)?
Please give me detailed steps along with configuration needed?

Do you mean to say we can just add the quantity to the existing Asset
and cannot create a new asset using iProc/PO?
If we can just buy, can you let me know the steps required for it and the flow for the same?

  • Create release not picking data from Requisition table

    Hi All,
I have imported release data from 11i to R12 through Requisition import program. Data got imported successfully. I have updated BLANKET_PO_HEADER_ID and BLANKET_PO_LINE_NUM column in po_requisition_lins_all table. Then I have ran Create Release Concurrent Program but that program Not picking the release from Requisition table.
Can any one face this issue...Please let me know what thing i missing while doing this.
    Thanks.

According to what I understand from your question, you have the Req successfully created but the the release is not happening when you run the create releases program.
You have to have a ASL for this item with release property as Automatic Release and the BPO document number attached in the ASL attributes.
Let me know if you have this setup or not.

  • Automatic Generation of POs from Requisitions

    Hi expert,
Can somebody explain to me how to automatically generete  a PO from PR in detail. What is the basic setting need to perform first before can use this feature?
    Pls guide me.
    thank you.

    For Details refer to
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/75/ee11e655c811d189900000e8322d00/frameset.htm
Below mentioned summar is taken from above mentioned link
    Prerequisite
The system selects only those requisitions for automatic PO generation for which the indicator Automatic purchase order has been set for both the material and the vendor.
It can only generate purchase orders from requisitions to which a unique source of supply has already been assigned.
    Activiites[
To generate purchase orders from these requisitions automatically, proceed as follows:
Choose Requisition ® Follow-on functions ® Create purchase order ® Automat. via requisitions. The initial screen appears.
In the upper part of the screen, enter your organizational selection criteria (for example, the responsible purchasing group and the plant). In the lower part of the screen, enter the criteria for the selection of requisitions (for example, a number interval, a certain material or a date interval for requisitions released within this period).
In the middle part of the screen, specify the cases in which a separate purchase order is to be created for a requisition item. (If requisitions for different plants are not to be included in the same purchase order, for example.)
If necessary, set the indicator Omit faulty items.
You can also perform the function as a test. To do so, set the Test run indicator. You can then see, for example, how many purchase orders are generated from the list of requisitions.
Set the indicator Detailed log if you wish to perform and log the function in the background. The log shows which purchase orders have been generated, and which of them are faulty. It also provides detailed information on the error source for each faulty requisition item.
(If you perform the function online, you can obtain detailed information on faulty items by double-clicking on the relevant line.)
    Invoke the function via
    – Program -> Execute,
    – Program -> Execute + print, or
    – Execute in background.
If you execute the program in the background, you will get a dialog box in which you must specify and save the print parameters before the function is started.

  • Delivery date from Requisition to Purchase Order

    Hi,
let's suppose to have a material code and its inforecord.
I create the Purchase Order Requisition and I put a delivery date. When I create the Purchase Order (ME21N) moving the POR into the basket, the delivery date I find in the PO is the one indicated in the POR. I would like that the delivery date I find in the PO will be calculated based on the "delivery time" indicated in the inforecord. For example, in the POR the delivery date is 15th May, today is 11st May, I'm creating the PO and I have 15 days of delivery time in the inforecord. I want that the delivery date in the PO will be 26 May (11+26). Now, if I create the PO, the delivery day will be 15th May...
How can I set up the system to do this?
Is there a set up that I have to do into the inforecord, maybe?
    Thanks,
    FT

I you create the PR manually, then you manual entries have precedence over system defaults. Maybe you can control it with a user exit.
if you create PRs is with the MRP run, then SAP takes the delivery date from the material master.
if you maintain source list and indicate it as MRP relevant, then SAP can find the info record and can propose the delivery date based on the info record.

  • How to create Purchase order from Requisitions!

    Hi there,
Please help me in this case:
I was created a outline agreements for item MN.001 (4600000014), and then created and released success for Requisition  10000180. After that I want to create PO from above Requisition (use T-code  ME25 -Vendor Unknown). These steps as follow:
    1. Navigator to T-Code : ME25
    2. Refer to Req : 10000180
    3. Assign Source to Agreement : 4600000014
    4. click button Generate to create PO from REQ --> system message that "Item blocked for order processing (function not possible)"
    Please help me!
    thanks for your advise!
    Viettq.

    hi,
When you are using the outline agreement for the PR and then shd use for the PO...from where this RFQ comes in the scene??

  • Determine RFQ list from Requisition Number

    Hi,
As we see in a PR --> item details --> Status tab, we can see a list of RFQ created for that Purchase Requisition. I need that list in an internal table.
Using trial and error method I have written the following select query which gives the required result, but I doubt it's practically correct:
        SELECT  EBELN
        FROM EKPO
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ITAB
        WHERE BEDNR EQ WA_ITAB-BEDNR
        AND   MATNR EQ WA_ITAB-MATNR
        AND   MATKL EQ WA_ITAB-MATKL
        AND   PEINH EQ WA_ITAB-PEINH
        AND   WERKS EQ WA_ITAB-WERKS.
    Hence, kindly correct me.

    Hi Xaver,
In Standard functionality there is no direct link to view the RFQ number
in PO window, we can enable DFF in RFQ headers to reference the Requisition
    number for tracking purpose
Oracle have clearly mentioned that there is no link between requisition and RFQ,
but you can link for requisition and purchase order if u have create through autocreate.
    Tks

  • Approver & approval date from Requisition & PO Approval workflow tables

    Dear All,
My req is to create a report that calculates the lead time taken by a Purchase Requisition to be converted into a PO and released. In the output they want the APPROVER NAME, DATE APPROVED against the REQUISITION NUMBER (EBAN-BANFN) and also they want APPROVER NAME, DATE APPROVED against the Purchase Order (so all in all 2 fields of approvers & 2 fields of approval dates). But the thing is they want these APPROVER NAME, DATE APPROVED from the Requisition Approval Workflow tables.
Please update the table & fields that will have the Approver and date approved from workflow corresponding to the Purchase Requisition Number and Purchase Order. or What is the link between the "Approver, approval date & Purchase Requisition Number" and "Approver, approval date & Purchase Order".
Thanks in advance. The solution will be rewarded the points.
    Warm Regards,

  • Integrating commitments from external systems

We are working with Project costing 10.7. We are trying to integrate commitements from other systems. Projects supports this (page 11-420 of the User's guide).
We have changed the pa_commitment_txns_v to include the commitments stored in our custom table that we created. We have also ran the projects process that updates PSI. The problem is that our external commitments DO NOT show up in PSI.
I have checked the PAXURVPS for in PSI that calls the views to display in PSI. From what I can tell is that all relevent views call a table called PA_COMMITMENTS_TXNS. No reference is made to the PA_COMMITMENTS_TXNS_V. Any suggestions?
    Thanks,

  • Descriptive Flexfield transfer from Requisition (iProcurement) to PO

Can a descriptive flexfield be transferred from iProcurement (requisition lines) to Purchase Order (lines)?
I am fairly new to Oracle EBS and this is my first attempt to set up descriptive flexfields. We want the user to populate the field while creating the requisition and would like that value to transfer to the purchase order. (we are on 11i)
Is this possible? Is there an option or setting that I need to be aware of?
    Thank you!

I don't think that is possible.
Oracle has the functionality to transfer Req. Distribution DFF to PO Distribution DFF. But it does not work for Req Header or Req Line DFF.

  • Automatic creation of PO's from Requisitions

    Hi
I'm trying to get a grasp of what's needed to automatically create approved PO's upon approval of a requisition.
There seems to be two ways to do it, a release program under a Contract Agreement, or using workflow with a Global BPA.
Under either method, would you need to create a Contract Agreement or Global BPA for each and every supplier? Is there any easier way to achieve this?
    Thanks

To automatically created Approved PO's you will need the following
    1. To create Standard PO's a Requisition will have to use a Quotation. This quotation can be attached to an ASL to default while creating a req
The Workflow "PO Create Documents" should have automatic creation allowed set to yes
    2. To create Releases a Blanket PO must be attached to an ASL . The Workflow "PO Create Documents" should have automatic creation allowed set to yes
Please let me know if you have any questions
