Common batch errors
Hello all,
I have been monitoring batch process chains for just over 2 months now and there seems to be a new error associated with a full and/or delta load etc everyday.
Does anybody have a tutorial/file etc on common batch errors and how to solve them.
Thank you and kind regards,
Keith

Common internet error while launching webdynpro application in Portal
Hi
We are facing issues with the development components of WD type deployed on a server with more than one instances.
We have build up a custom development component & deployed on the server. Created a Portal page for the deployed component & when trying to launch that page in Portal, we are facing a common internet error as "The Page Cannot be Displayed" .
"The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
To attempt fixing network connectivity problems, click Tools, and then click "Diagnose Connection Problems..."
When trying to lauch the same page from specified instances, the applications launches successfully but fails when tried through central instance.
Has any one faced this issue earlier? Please share the experience.
Thanks,
ArchanaHi Archana
Please check that where you are delpoying application central instance or other instance.

Dear Gurus,
I am getting batch error while giving the output. We have batch split funcionality that was working fine upto now. Working on next rollout. Any idea what got changed that is trigerring this error?
Regards,
ManuHi Manu
But as you said in your previous thread that you are getting error Batch Error while giving output ,
So Check the following data :
1) Go to Output type details and check wheather background job has been checked or not
2) Check wheather any smartforms is assigned or not , if any smartforms are assigned then remove that smartforms and then check
3) Also check in the output procedure details which you have assigned to the document type wheather any Requirement has been assigned to the output type or not
4) Also check the key combination you have assigned to the access sequence and that access sequence assigned to the output type

Flash Player " Error. Common install error " Windows 7
Prior to reinstall windows stood Google Chrome and Flash Player worked . After reinstalling, Google Chrome is not installed. Install Mozilla Firefox, but I can not install Flash Player. (Error: common installation error)
Hi,
According to the log file, the installer file is missing some required components. Pease provide the following to help us identify the root cause:
Where did you download the Flash Player installer from? What's the file name of the downloaded file?
What files are inside C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\FlashYou can take a screenshot of the directory contents and post it (How to post a screenshot in the forum))
After obtaining the above information, please do the following:
Delete any installer file you have downloaded
Download the uninstaller from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
Download the offline installer posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page, in the 'Still having problems' section (you'll want to download the installer for Firefox).
Run the uninstaller downloaded in step 2
Reboot your machine
Run the installer downloaded in step 3
Launch Firefox and go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html. Click on the 'Check Now' button. The results should indicate that 17.0.0.134 is installed.
If you get an error during any of these steps, please take a screenshot and post the screenshot, indicating at which step the error was returned.

Hi all,
I'm used NI 9214 to measure thermocouple reading which connected using NI TB-9214. When I connect thermocouple and then taking a measurement for each channel (connect one by one for the entire channel), the measurement is fine. But when I connect a thermocouple at a few channel, some channel give a common mode error. I don't have an idea why this error occured and how to solve it. Please advise. Thank you.The first code block contains my Xorg.0.log however I just tryed modprove nvidia and recieved FATAL: Module nvidia not found. which I discovered was solved by someone here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=961852 however when I tryed to do a pacman -S nvidia nvidia-utils I get a unresolved confilict with nvidia-304xx-utils which after trying to remove with pacman -Rs shows dependencies with cario, Im not sure how far back I should start removing things to solve this conflict or how to go abouts solving it
+++++++++
Update: Solved
+++++++++
I did some more looking and found I could force the uninstall of nvidia-304xx-lts with pacman -Rdds nvidia-304xx-lts and after revisiting the Nvidia page on the wiki for the dozenth time I started thinking maybe I needed nvidia-304xx oposed to the lts release as google as kindly pointed out lts is long term support and maybe my kernel was not lts and thus conflicting. This turned out to be the case, after removing the ofending lts version of the driver, replacing with the correct nvidia-304xx , another nvidia-xconfig and reboot followed by modprobe nvida and startxfce4 my wounderfull xfce is now running as I type this messsage in firefox. Thank you for you help, as you asking about the modprobe output caused the chain of events leading to the success.

Compressor 2.3.1 Cannot submit batch error message What is causing this?
Just installed FCP 5 with DVD Studio pro 4 and Compressor 2 and tried to do a batch compression exported from FCP, I selected the compression I wanted and chose my destination and clicked submit and I get this error message "Cannot submit batch Unable to connect to background process" I did try to Reset Background Processing and it did not make a difference, any suggestions would be appreciated.
The 1009 error indicates that one of the objects being targeted by your code is out of scope. This could mean that the object....
- is declared but not instantiated
- doesn't have an instance name (or the instance name is mispelled)
- does not exist in the frame where that code is trying to talk to it
- is animated into place but is not assigned instance names in every keyframe for it
- is one of two or more consecutive keyframes of the same objects with no name assigned in the preceding frame(s).
If you go into your Publish Settings Flash section and select the option to Permit debugging, your error message should have a line number following the frame number which will help you isolate which object is involved. -
"Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Premiere to be shut down. We will attempt to save your current project"
Yep, that one. I get it every time I open up Premiere. The error box reappears after a couple of seconds, then it keeps reappearing and stacking up until I close the program.
I've done the most recent updates (Vista and Adobe), and spent hours on the net reading and trying different solutions. To no avail.
I think this is a pretty common error, no? But from everything I've read, people get the error using PR mid-program. For me, I can't even open the program. After Effects also starts (as a process in Task Manager), but runs in the background.
I updated MS Office 2007 (big update) and also my NVIDIA drivers (after I started getting this error).
You can read my recent problem that might help you understand a little bit more about this error on this thread.
Would upgrading to a Quadro GPU help at all?
My PC:
C2D E8400 o'cd @ 3.6GHz
8GB ram (DDR2 800)
1TB raid 0 (500GB internal as scratch disk)
2 512mb 9600GT's in SLi - should I upgrade?? NVIDIA Quadro?
Vista Ultimate 64-bitThanks, Jim.
So, (considering my unwillingness to wreck my current setup), would this possibly help my performance:
OS: (2) 500GB internal SATA's in RAID 0 (as is)
Scratch Disk: (1) 500GB internal SATA (sort-of as is)
Media files Disk: (1) 1TB non-'green' internal SATA (new purchase)
My main question is: What's the main difference between a Scratch Disk and a Media Files Disk?
For instance, I have a newly captured clip (let's call it footage.mpeg). And I have music.mp3 and lotsofpictures.jpg. So would I store all three of those files on my Media Files Disk, or on the Scratch Disk? The Scratch Disk was just for rendered files I thought (like when you're working on a project and previewing it?)? And so is Premiere reading from my Media Files Disk to play footage.mpeg and then using the Scratch Disk to bounce files back and forth? Sorry if I'm not making ANY sense.
Is my suggested setup a dumb idea (bad investment)?
PS - this may be another problem: my Scratch Disk (Hitachi internal 500GB SATA) is an OEM drive shipped as running on SATA I for 'backwards capability' for older mobos. So, I downloaded the firmware updater from Hitachi and the updater wasn't working (locking up after booting from CD). I figured it would be fine. Well, SATA I runs at a much slower speed than SATA II (the new standard). But I was transferring files to and from the drive and my OS RAID configuration and Vista was reporting over 30MB/s sustained write speed. Which by the way is not SATA II (also called SATA 3.0Gbit/s). I think this may be causing some of my performance issues. What do you think? Normally, SATA II should run at 300MB/s (so they claim) SATA 3.0Gbit/s specs -
Hi
I am encountering an issue with batching outbound EDI messages which need to be sent via AS2. I am get the error below. We only get this message if we require the message to be signed. If the message only requires encryption the batch process works fine. If I send a message with a signature/encryption without batching that works fine as well. Only when batching with a signature required will I get the error below. Is this a bug or some kind of configuration error. I am using 11.1.1.4. Any help would be appreciated.

I am facing issue with AS2 batching. We are on 11.1.1.5. Single transaction works fine, but multiple transactions is raising this error message.

We are getting the following error when Batching is enabled and can't figure out why. Any help would be much appreciated!
The batch element is being suspended as it either failed schema validation or context properties are not matching batch definition. The error is : Stopping after the first error !!
Duplicate transaction set control number. The transaction set control number should be unique per functional group. Please use the EDI Design Time tools to get a complete list of errors.
Please mark as answer if this helps you. Thanks! Matt Moeser Connected Systems Practice Lead - Centare Group, Ltd.That is why you are having problems. Biztalk will handle that piece for you. The only time you have to hardcode it is for the ST03 but that is when you get into 5010. Other than that, take the links off and you will handle the control numbers on the party.
Let me know how it goes. Please Indicate "Mark as Answer" if this Post has Answered the Question -
Hi All!
We need to batch outbound EDI messages in XML format onto one EDI message. We have used deferred batching that is described in B2B documentation. But we have received the error:

PLEASE Help!!!
BernieThis can happen if you have the default-ear that JRun creates
and you install the /samples files for Flex Data Services installed
together.
The problem is with the commons-logging.jar. If you copy the
commons-logging.properties file from the
samples\WEB-INF\flex\jars\commons-logging.properties directory to
the samples\WEB-INF\classes\commons-logging.properties directory,
it will resolve the problem.
