Common jars for JWS and non-JWS Java Apps?

Java Application 'A' is installed to file system - not JWS. App 'A' has some jars in common with Java Application 'B', which we would like to deploy using JWS. Do I have to:
a) duplicate the common jars - once on the file system for App 'A' and once in the cache for App 'B'?
b) keep the common jars only on the file system - but somehow make them visible to the JWS App 'B'?
c) keep the common jars only in the JWS cache - but somehow make them visible to the non-JWS App 'A'?
Please advise.

I do not think in SAP this kind of report is available.
what you can do , if your vendor master has different accounting group for Excisable and Non excisable vendor then you can check in standard table of vendor master like LFA1 and LFM1 or create Z report or Query.

Invoice Posting using INVOIC02 Idoc for PO and Non-Po based invoices

We have a problem regarding posting Invoices using Idocs.
We have po and non-po invoices coming frm thirdparty in the form of idoc files.
We need a clarification whether Invoic02 idoc can handle both Po and Non Po Based invoices or threre are seperate idoc types or message types for Po and Non Po Invoices.
Could any one give some inputs on Partner Profiles also for this senario.

An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

Development of Form for Returnable and Non-returnable material Gate pass

Dear Experts,
I am working with an Indian client impementing SAP PM. I need help in developing a form for Returnable and Non Returnable Gatepass. Requirements are below;
RGP/NRGP should be made for all materials going out of the factory, irrespective of it being coded or not
It should be plant specific
It should have reference to material movement document for tracking purpose
It should have details of vendor, transport company, vehicle number, permits if required, etc
A Z report should give details of all RGP/NRGP based on material document number and date
Please guide me based on your experience.

This can be met. But before developing this, have you implemented the refurbishment process of PM module? This will really help in tracking the equipment and also for the development of RGP/NRGP.
First you have to create a form for the gate pass and have to create an enhancement in MIGO for triggering the RGP/NRGP, else you can also create a separate Z transaction code for printing the Gate pass. You will get all the fields like vendor, material, QTY, movement type from the MIGO GI document.
For the gate pass the MIGO document will be the reference all the times, you can also develop a Z report for the records for the gate pass.

Is it possible to have different segments derived in the same document for Leading and Non-leading ledgers.
Is there an exit where we can substitute the segment originally derived so as to update only in one particular ledger

Material Design for bonded and non-bonded warehouse

In some countries the materials put in bonded and non-bonded warehouse are treated differently, for example the cost, shipment, trace of the material.
In general, there are two designs. One is "Only One Material Number", and the other is "Two material numbers".
Which design you used?
My client is in China.

One material to extend it to two different plant, using evaluation class to diff the cost.
cons are
a. complex cost accounting for surcharge and freight distributed to material, not necessary for bonded-inventory
b. MRP will combine the PR for bonded and non-bonded.
two material ID
solves the previous problem.
cons are
a. one material have two id, makes little sense
b. big number of material, high volumn of data maintenance

What exactly means "refuses"?
This is the message which comes up if I try to update (from the Help menu) or re-install my licenced copies of CS6 or Photoshop Elements 9.

When I follow these instructions and try and start up/install or update Photoshop CS6 I get the same messages all over again. EPMA Common Timebalance for Essbase and Planning

Hi,
We are using EPMA for managing dimensions in Planning and Essbase. We have a shared ACCOUNT dimension, the account dimension is used to create an Essbase and Planning application.
We are facing issue with TIMEBALANCE property on the shared ACCOUNT dimension, when we set TIMEBALANCE for a member as NONE it works fine for Essbase application and throws out error when we deploy for PLANNING application, viceversa when TIMEBALANCE is set as FLOW it works for PLANNING and not for ESSBASE.
We don't want to maintain 2 separate ACCOUNT dimension in EPMA for ESSBASE and PLANNING just for this purpose. Is there a way to overcome the TIMEBALANCE property or a common value which will work as FLOW/NONE.

I haven't faced your specific issue, however I faced something VERY similar. We were trying to set properties for both an ASO and BSO cube, using EPMA to manage the hierarchies. Setting the ASO property would change the BSO property and vice versa. My general impression was that the Essbase property settings weren't really sorted out in EPMA. This is one reason people don't use EPMA for Essbase (yet). It's okay for Planning, but not really ready for Essbase. Hopefully it will be better in 11.1.2.

Include jars for compiling and exclude jars for war

In the context of using ant to create a war, I have some doubts:
Actually to compile my web application codes, I put in classpath the following two jars as:
 <pathelement location="${lib.dir}/${servlet-api.jar}"/>
 <pathelement location="${lib.dir}/${jsp-api.jar}"/> without these two jars I would get compiling errors.
To create a war, I have to exclude these two jars:
 <lib dir="${webapp.dir}/WEB-INF/lib">
 <exclude name="servlet-api.jar"/>
 <exclude name="jsp-api.jar"/>
 </lib>If I kept these two jars in the war, JBOSS application server would complain of duplicate classes.
My approach works. But my question is:
Is it the best practice to include jars for compiling codes and exclude jars if the application servers already have them?

Yes. That is the best practice.
In fact its the only practice to do it properly.
You are compiling against Interface only. Your code will work as long as that interface is implemented by the server, even if it does different things under the hood. This is what lets your web application work on whatever server you deploy it on - Jboss, Tomcat, Weblogic - it shouldn't matter as they all implement the same basic interfaces.
You could also expand that list to include common APIs which you know are available on your server if you don't want to bundle them with every web application.
JSTL jars are one potential example.

We have decided not to implement EP in first phase of SAP implementation. But we need to enable SSO for other SAP and Non-SAP applications.

A client of our's uses SAP Enterprise Portal, and is using the SAP SSO, which is implemented with tickets, and requires the use of SAPSECULIB. My company provides an application for this client, and our application in hosted in our data center for the client, as a Software as a Service application, obviously across the internet. Our client, which owns a SAP license, has asked that we support the SAP SSO as a non-SAP SSO application. The client user's SSO ticket will be created from SAP EP, and then passed across the internet to our application, and we are to use that SSO ticket as an authentication ticket to our application. I beleive I know how to do this work technically, having reviewed the SAP document named: "Dynamic Library for Verifying SSO Tickets in Third-Party Software" Specification Version 2.00 December 2005.
My question is, does my company have the right to use the SAPSECULIB? Where is the official download and license download, that indicates we can download this library, and use it to support a SAP customer? We do not own a SAP license. Thank you for your help. I have searched many places in SAP support.
