Communication Arrangement: SAP ERP Financials using IDoc

I am getting the following error when I try to test the Technicl Data => Outbound connection
Error accessing service; Service Ping ERROR: Error when calling SOAP Runtime functions: SRT:
Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when
receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_PROXY_UNAUTHORIZED") ()
The connection is from the SAP Cloud to Web Dispatcher URL that points to web service (trx SICF)on the
QAS instance.
When I check the following there are no entires in SICF => Client or SOAMANAGER...
1.) ICM_HTTP_PROXY_UNAUTHORIZED: Please check the proxy settings in your system
(transaction SICF->F8->Client->Proxy Settings) or check the proxy
settings in your logical port in SOAMANAGER(transaction SOAManager ->Service
Administration->Web Service Configuration; choose option Consumer Proxy
specify Consumer Proxy Name; choose the relevant configuration(Logical
Port)->display->Transport settings).
What entries should be where, any help is appreciated.

Dear experts,
We are checking outbound connection from C4TE to ERP in Communication Arrangement for SAP ERP Financials Using IDoc Failed.
We get the attached error message:
Checking connection failed
Error accessing service; Service Ping ERROR: Forbidden (403)
What could be the reasons, in ERP side, through Tcode SMICM, we didn't see any log from C4TE side, and we cannot ping the ERP side successfully.
One more thing, in C4TE, we tried to set the connection to an SAP internal ERP system, and the connection was successful. But when relinked to the customer ERP system, connection failed.
Could it be firewalls reason?

Hi Wendy,
Yes the assumption could be one reason as well for the error (403 forbidden), but there could be several other aspects also to get the 403 error, for better understanding the reason for the error, may I request you to create an incident send it to us.
Also please try once running the scenario in C4T and check if the relevant documents are being sent through Outbound Service or not.

Data transfer b/w SAP to Java using IDOC and Interface SAP Jco

Dear Experts,
The challenging requirement we are having is, we need to create the interface for data transfer between SAP system and the Java system. The data will be transferred from SAP to java and similarly once some processing done in Java again the details needs to be transferred from Java to SAP.
For this data transferred we are planning to use IDOC process and for interface "SAP Java connector (Version 3.0.5)" we are planning to use. As per our understanding, from Java side one program needs to be written to connect with SAP as "Registered program". This registered program will appear in SAP GATEWAY automatically and using tRFC, TCP/IP connection both SAP and Java system will be connected.
In this case we are having some doubts.
1. The data from SAP is going to be transfered from one Custom transaction (Z tcode). Once "Outbound IDOC" will get triggered and will carry the details. Now the doubt is, whether the data / details will get transfered to JAVA system automatically or we need to perform any other steps from SAP ABAP coding...(like converting in to flat file, XML file and etc) ??
2. We are planning to install "SAP Jco" in Java server. Is this correct...??
3. Other than SAP Jco any other softwares needs to be installed or not..??
4. Since we are going to trigger the "outbound IDOC" from custom transaction, we are planning to develope one program in SE37. Other than this any other program we need to develop or not..??
5. Any sample Java program for the SAP Jco version 3.0.5 to create the "Registered program" with SAP..? (e.g. SAP Listener program).?
If anybody has detailed steps or explanation please share it with us.

Hi All,
For the above mentioned issue, we implemented JCo software in JAVA system and created the JAVA program including SAP logon credential details like Client, User name, password and Language details.
When this JAVA program was compiled successfully then, that non SAP system will appear in SAP gateway Tcode.
Once non SAP system started appearing in SAP gateway that means, both SAP & Non SAP are connected automatically.

Hardware requirements for SAP ERP 2005 using ECC 6.0

Hello everyone,
i am already new and need information about the min. hardware requirements for a SAP ERP 2k5 System using ECC 6.0 with IDES 7.10.
I read the Master Guides about ERP, but i am not even more clever than before.
The OS is MS Windows 2k3 Server EE.
The last information i had from another one to this configuration is:
1 dual-core cpu (? Ghz)
4-6 GB RAM
300 GB HDD
Does it fit? Can anyone help me out?

IDES 7.10?!?
If it's an IDES system you want to set up, HDD space may be the bottleneck. It's sufficient for installation, but you may run out of disk space since note <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1013391">1013391</a> states

Since IDES is for education and training purposes only the rest should be sufficient.
I'm running an ERP 6.0 IDES system (32 bit) on a single core, 3.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB System and 500 GB SAP/DB HDD with pretty good response time.

IDoc Scenario SAP ERP - PI(Receiver IDoc Adapter) - IDoc to Third-Party system

Dear All,
I have created a scenario to send IDocs via PI system (PI 7.1) to a third party system.
There is no message mapping involved(Only ID part)
I have imported Idoc Metadata from the source ERP system.
Created an RFC destination(BC_ERP_SEA) in the PI system of type TCP/IP with registered Server Program to third party system.(Tested success)
Created a port in IDX1 BC_ERP_SEA with above TCP/IP destination.
Receiver communication channel of type IDoc is created with the following parameters:
         RFC Destination: BC_ERP_SEA
         Segment Version: 640
         Interface Version: SAP release 4.0 or Higher
         Port: BC_ERP_SEA
         SAP Release: 640
Now when I execute the scenario, I get the following error in SM58 of PI system.
Bena IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS not found on host.
Request your help for this issue.

Hi,
Check below steps..it may resolve your issue
1. It is mandatory to specify Ack Destination value in IDoc_AAE sender channel. The value should be an RFC destination name which is connecting to your SAP ECC system.
2. In inboundRA resource adapter, the value for the property "local" should be set to "true".

It is needed to connect this system with solution manager and create stack.xml using
maintanance optimizer. The main aim of this is to let you know what usage types/ functionalities are to be
selected from stack.xml.
It is also needed to download all the required support packs/ addons using maintanance optimizer.
If you have DVDs containing the same product that matches with stack.xml, you can provide them.
But the safest way is is to give all the tasks to solution manager , It will create , and download neccesary sps, addons to your
download basket.

How to configure sap maxdb client to connect to SAP ERP system (SAP HR)

I am currently installing live cache for SAP ERP HR application(Idoc), can anybody tell me the sequence to proceed to configure SAP livecache with SAP ERP system. i am doing following steps
1. Install SAP DB using installation MAXDB CDs
2. Install SAP Livecache and standalone server SCM 5.0 using SAP ERP master and Livecache dvds.
3. install Livecache client fromSAP ERP master and livecache dvds between SAP ERP and livecache server.
4. configure in LC10, tcode.
but when i press on livecache monitoring in LC10 it gives me following error.

i tried the said things and after that i am getting following error in DB59, first three steps are successful but 4 one is failing.

Is SSO possible for SAP ERP and xMII

Hi,
Is it possible to have Single Sign-On between SAP ERP and xMII.
The requirement is that the user wants to login to the SAP ERP and using the same credentials he/she should be able to use xMII (without prompting for login credentials again.)
If it is not possible why is it so, and if it is then how?

Hi,
UME is User Management Engine. The UME provides the centralized user management for all Java applications and can be configured to work with user management data from multiple data sources. It is seamlessly integrated in the J2EE engine of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server for Java as its default user store and can be administered using the administration tools of the AS java.
You can configure multiple data source (DB, LDAP or ABAP) to UME for managing user data.

DI 11.7.2 and SAP ERP interface

We have installed DI 11.7.2. We are able to access SAP ERP tables using designer. When we schedule the job to extract data from ERP tables, we are getting SAP RFC libraries are missing. Please advise what additional component we have to install in the job server to interface SAP ERP systems. Thanks.

Limit send of IDoc from SAP-ERP to SAP-XI or a Non-SAP

Hi guys,
I send the following IDocs from SAP-ERP over SAP-XI to Non-SAP for an initialload: Artmas, Bommat, Infrec, Cond_a, Mmaddi, Cremas
Example: Artmas with TA: BD10.
Problem: SAP-ERP send all 25'000 IDoc to SAP-XI. The effect is that the qRFC and tRFC in SAP-XI is full, because the Non-SAP is not fast enough to takeover the Idocs. From then other systems can't send out or get in Idocs.
I tried to limit in WE20, but it didnt work. TA: RSEOUT00 ist not so useful, because of the quantity of the IDocs.
Is in SAP-ERP a possibility to limit the sending of IDocs to SAP-XI or Non-SAP?
Example: Automatic sending of 200 Idocs every 2 Minute.

SAP ERP - SAP ME - iDOCS - Not received

Dear Experts,
We are trying to send data ( MATMAS iDOC) from ERP to ME.
We used the below transaction in SAP.
1. using BD10 transaction in SAP ( Send material) Idoc was sent
Checks :
We checked in WE05 in SAP and found that Idocs sent is successful
Opened MII ( Queue Monitor) and Found that Idoc was received successfully with ID but Message ( "" sucessfully Queued) Status : Queued
Problem : We are not able to see the material in ME system
No errors found in NWA logs.
Kindly suggest any solution.

Make sure you have the plant id in the idoc. Here are the few place in the idoc that you need to add the PlantID. We're using TN01 as our plant.
