Communication Channel in error

Communication Channel in error though the error has been resovled. New files are processed succesfully !!!
CC still in RED.
I tried the basic steps which can change the status .( by deactivating the channel and activating the same , stopped and started the same ) . It resulted the same.

The information that is displayed for the status of a channel on the individual cluster nodes is status information that is accumulated to give the overall status of the channel in the table of communication channels.
If the cluster nodes have at least one status that is above all other statuses in the status hierarchy, the channel receives this status as the overall status. The possible statuses correspond to those in the table of communication channels and have the following hierarchy: (red), (yellow), (green), and (gray). A combination of green or yellow with gray is not possible.
○       The information displayed for the processing entries of the selected cluster node is current runtime information on message processing. You get to Message Monitoring by selecting the message ID displayed.
Depending on the adapter used, the type and occurrence of the information here can differ. The information forms the entry in the Processing Errors column in the table of communication channels. The newest result is taken from the table of the cluster nodes.
○       The information about channel administration displays when and by whom a channel was previously started or stopped. You can only start or stop a communication channel for an entire server cluster, not on individual cluster nodes. However, since errors can occur on individual cluster nodes during the execution of these actions, error information is also displayed for each cluster node.
○       If the channel is controlled by availability times, the Availability Times tab page is displayed. All other availability times that are relevant for this channel are also displayed. You can exclude specific availability times and, if necessary, reschedule them.
Since only active availability times are displayed, it is possible that availability times do exist for the selected communication channel even if none are displayed.
○       The information on the Settings tab page displays how often an attempt is made to send messages to this channel, and at what time intervals.
The default settings are taken from the outbound properties for the J2EE service SAP XI Adapter: XI. You can overwrite and save these values. You can also restore overwritten values.
Information about changes made to the settings is always displayed.
The Settings tab page is only relevant for receiver channels and is therefore only displayed for channels of this type.

Description: The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it
Possible Tips:
Path sap/xi/engine not active
HTTP 403 during cache refresh of the adapter framework - Refer SAP Note -751856
Because of Inactive Services in ICF Go to SICF transaction and activate the services. Refer SAP Note -517484
Error in RWB/Message Monitoring- because of J2EE roles Refer SAP Note -796726
Error in SOAP Adapter - "403 Forbidden" from the adapter's servlet. Because of the URL is incorrect or the adapter is not correctly deployed.

Sender Communication Channel Monitoring Error

Hi....Experts,
i am doing rfc-soap scenario synchronous . this is B2B scenario, under party i created business services, under this created 2 communication channels. in RWB, Communication Channel monitoring i am getting this error at sender side..
Error in processing caused by: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: only partyless services are supported but party : xxxxx is set for service sender business service name and sender CC name..
pls suggest me how can i rectify these errors..

Hi Pasi,
Check if you are using the same business service (under which u have created the Channels) at sender side in configuration.
You have to use the same business serivce for sender under which your communication channels are created...................
Or
Create a sender communication channel in the service that u have used at sender side.............
So i think in your case there is a mismatch of using the diff sender service at diff stages.............

Capturing the communication channel monitoring error into an alert.

The following is my scenario:
File adapter polls using file content conversion,if the source file is not in a proper format the file wont be picked up and communication channel will show error in channel monitoring.
I have to configure an alert for the same.
Can i capture the error message shown in communication channel monitoring and raise alert?

The Status of the channel is "Processing Erros in last 20 seconds". And in the processing deatils it just show the below two steps.

It is continuasly showing the same message ID "d28c6542-0d7e-453b-1d96-9e0a18159315 " but this ID does not exist in SXMB_moni not in RTW message monitoring.
If I double click the message ID shown in the CC process details it shoes me below content.

Communication channel reports error after system restart.

We have third party adapter Aria installed in our PI 7.1 system and whenever systems is restarted interface is reporting errors
in default trace and communication dies. but after we manually activate each time it works properly.
Is anyone had similiar issue ?

In visual Admin check for that particular Adapter Service there would be a parameter which has to be set as boolean (true) , am not sure , actually it is present in rest of adapter , kindly check

Some Nodes of Communication Channel in error

I am working with a JDBC receiver channel. There are 5 nodes altogether out of which two are in error. The rest 3 are running fine and green. The error showing up in the channel log is "Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error when attempting to get processing resources: com.sap.aii.af.service.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: DriverManagerException: Cannot establish connection to URL 'jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1433;DatabaseName=xxxxxx': SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error establishing socket."
Kindly help me to solve this situation.

Hi Janeef,
Please check the connection string for the JDBC.
Check whether the IP/Hostname is correct and also the database name.
Also, if there is any firewall, check for the connectivity also using Ping/Telnet commands.

Regd : Communication Channel giving Error - RecoverableException ?

My sender file CC is failing to deliver the message and giving the below mentioned exception :
Transmitting the message to endpoint http://igdcsap:8005/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 500 : Timeout.
I searched for the HTTP error code also but not able to solve the issue .Urgent help is required .

As i understood...your file is picked up and your getting an error message in RWb--> message monitoring...For this refresh your SXI_CACHE(Tcode) ---then go to menu start delta cache refresh ..its suppose to be in green color and then ..keep the file in same send folder..

403 meaning is given here: http://www.checkupdown.com/status/E403.html
So either your paylaod what ever you are sending is wrong. So send it from altova xml spy and from your original webservice. Then compare both of your payloads, You should see the difference somewhere.

Getting error in target SOAP communication channel

I am trying to send data from Http client to Webservice.In moni i got a message processed successfully means getting black flag.But i got an error in SOAP Communication channel as "error in response".
I got this message from that error

Source side i dont configure Http adapter.Target side i configured SOAP adapter.In that SOAP adapter i configured these fields.1)Target URL 2)Configure Proxy 3)Configure proxy user authentication.
I want get response from webservice.Please help me.

Hi,
Make sure that you have specified the proper host and port values, in the text box that appears when you check the configure proxy check box(in receiver soap adapter).
Looks like the webservice requires a proxy authentication.
Select the check box "configure proxy user authentication"(in receiver soap adapter) and provide the correct username and password.

Error in communication channel AS2 Seeburger EDI Adapter

I am facing one issue in communication channel at receiver side. Adapter type is AS2 Seeburger EDI adapter.
Brief overview of scenario: Sender is R/3 sending an IDOC and Reciever is Party (Vastra_Gotaland).
The error in reciever communication channel is : Error type: REPORT_ERROR >> Error date: 8/26/10 10:18 AM >> Description: MIC not verified # integrity-check-failed [8/26/10 10:18 AM].

Sender Communication Channel Error

Hi all,
iam working on JDBC scenario.For this iam using party and business service.
iam getting following error at jdbc sender communication channel.
Error occurred while sending message: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.ConfigException: SLDAccess set to true, but not available.
Erlier it worked fine.But now iam getting this problem.
We are having some other channels which r working fine.
any ideas......?

1. If you know the user, who having admin rights;
1.Open the VA tool; ex: C:\usr\sap\X67\JC01\j2ee\admin --> click on "go.bat"
2. Click on "New" button ( this is on Logon Dialog box)
3. Enter "Display name"; and select "Direct Connection To a Dispatcher Node".
4. Say "Next"
5. Enter "User Name","Host" and "Port" and Save the data.
6. Select User and click on "Connect"

3. Click on "Pencil" icon means "Swith to Configuration Edit mode" then say "YES"
4. cluster_data --> server --> cfg --> services -->
click on "Propertysheet com.sap.security.core.ume.service
select properties:
ume.superadmin.activated = True
ume.superadmin.password = <enter password >
then say "OK"
Click on "Pencial ICON.
5. Save & restart Java Engine.
Login with "Administrator"
1. http://<host>:<Port>/useradmin/index.jsp
2. Enter userid / Password as "Administrator / <password>
3. it will ask change password just change it.
Please follow steps one by one. it should resolve your issue.

FTP error: Receiver Communication Channel

Hi Anup,
Problem is with FTPS and not FTP.The SSL handshake needs to confirm that the FTPS client is using the FTPS server's DNS name to access the FTP service since only the DNS name of the FTPS server is stored in the certificate signed by the trusted CA (e.g. VeriSign). it's the way the Certification Authorities works.
If you are using any IP address then try with your host name.

Communication channel: error during update

We are doring a soap2rfc scenario.
After reactivating relavant object in ID,I found that the status of sender communication channel was "error during update" in RWB.Have you ever dealed with the problem?Any help will be appreciated!

ask your basis guys to see the startup log of XI server...see if there is any error in it.. if there is any error in it, then restart your XI server.......go to SMICM....see if the ICM monitor is running fine.......If ICM is not running fine, then go to Administration->j2ee server->restart->yes and restart your j2ee engine of your XI server......
VisualAdmin-Server-services- Tracelogs. Also can restart your adapter engine and can you exact error you can getin RWB.
