Communication problems? I think so.

After them not alerting me that Tmobile snagged my phone number from them so I could use it on their Voip service. I find myself not receiving any phone calls, notices, nothing! I came to find my service shut off at random (DSL), worse of all I was making a deal since I work at home. I called them up and of course got the run around, called one person who sent me to another, who sent me to a person I could barely understand, then to an office in California (note: I live in Virginia). After that embarassing incident, I was sent to the Virginia office where I was most assured someone would help. She did but when transferring my call, I was sent to a number no longer in service. Not being able to get back with this woman, I had to start over again.
Waiting until the next morning, I began on this seemingly endless dance through the verizon lines. Finally, there's a breakthrough I got in contact with the VA one! I reordered my service and the woman told me my service would be back in 3 - 6 Business days. Feeling a bit relieved, I went on my merry way. Today, the day before the promised service, I call Verizon just to check up on the order. Hahah, they shafted me again. My service is due to be activated on the 12th now, a full week later than promised. I even stressed the fact I work at home! Almost in rage, I asked if there was anything they could do to speed it up. I was put on hold for almost ten minutes while he spoke to someone just to come back and say they had to see if the order could be expedited. Seriously?! So now, here I am waiting for them to call back with an update about my service. I thought everything was handled, but no. Thanks Verizon, really thanks. If I lose my job thanks to this **bleep** crap, I will only have you to blame for it as I have reassured my boss I would have internet back on the 6th, like you promised!
Any input on this?

just click on "don't restore windows" In Lion the finder and other apps will try to remember what windows were open and reopen them for you in the event that the app crashes. As for Vuze make sure you have the Lion version, else you'll get loads of problems...

Using multicastTest I found that the messages that the windows machine
          produces are lost. Nobody receives that messages.

I keep getting the following message after I download a book and try to open the book from my downloads (in finder) Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY. It gives me no other information and no options other than to

I don't really know what to do. I download a book from my library and it then goes to my download folder in finder (I have a macbook pro). When I double click on the downloaded book to open, digital editions comes up and then I get the following message

The only option I have at that point is to close the window. My computer is registered/authorized and I have tried everything I can think of but can't get the books to download into adobe digital editions.

I purchased he book through indigo/kobo edition and paid for it and immediately went to open it and am getting the same error

I am trying to download a library book (Epub ebook) into my Mac laptop. I have updated my Adobe Edition to 4.0. I keep getting this message
Unable to download, error getting License, License server communication Problem E_ACT_NOT_READY
I have gotten in touch with the library. They advised me to do the following:
Mac OS
Open Adobe Digital ! Editions.
Press Command+Shift+D to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.
Select Erase Authorization.
Click OK and Quit Adobe Digital Editions.
Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.
I am stuck on Erase Authorization. After I choose erase authorization another message pops up: Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try again after some time. I tried all day in fact I even went to the Apple Store where a staff member was also unable to get any further!!

Help please! I paid for and downloaded 2 books from eBooks library and it then goes to my download folder (on a Windows PC). I should have mentioned also that the first book downloaded fine. It's just the second one that I'm having the problems with.

After a fatal HDD crash and rebuild, my ADE was working fine but now it's not. I purchased a book from Google, it starts to download to ADE then I get the ADE message "Error Getting License. License Server Communication Problem. E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN_ERROR. Can anyone help? I've re-booted and re-authorized with no success. My wife is all over me to get this fixed so she can read the book. Thanks.

I was unable to download the book so I couldn't open it. However, I've been doing some experimenting and have finally got the book downloaded to ADE with some challenges. Here's what happened.
Prior to my HDD crash my Digial Editions library was on C:drive. When I restored my lost data it put it back on the C:drive. I copied it with all my other data to the new My Document on F:drive, pointed my existing My Documents to the F:drive.and re-installed ADE. It worked but VERY VERY slow loading. (4 minutes and not the only program to slow down. I checked drive share and everything should work well but it doesn't). Fine, I then pointed My Documents back to the C:drive and the original ADE library. Voila! It loads right away like it used to but now I get the open document error. This morning I redirected My Documents back to the F:drive which is where it was when I set up ADE. It again took many minutes to load but then allowed me to download the book.
So I guess the real questions is this: How can I move my ADE 4.0.3 library from the F:drive back to the C:drive without getting this kind of error? In absence of any better suggestion I'm going to uninstall ADE, point My Documents back to the C:drive which contains the original restored ADE library and re-install ADE. Do you think that makes sense?

every time i try to open a ACSM file, (to be able to download the book) i am confronted with the error message

it wont let me open to download it. I have authorised my account and it says there is not a problem with my account.

i have tried re-downloading the file and opening it immediately while the website is open in my safari browser with no luck
i am using the same email account for the adobe and for the sign in for the books website so i don't think there is a link there

If due to some reason, you are unable to deauthorize ADE, follow the below steps:
Mac:
1. Go-> Go to folder.
Go to folder dialog will appear.
2. Type ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions
drag the activation.dat file to the trash.
ADE will be deauthorized now.
Now Authorize ADE again.
ADE will be deauthorized now.
Now Authorize ADE again.
Windows:
Choose Start > Run.
In the Open text box, type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.
In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
Right-click the Adept key and choose Delete.
In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.
Your authorization will be deleted.
ADE will be deauthorized now.
Now Authorize ADE again.

I bought & downloaded a book from Google Play and when I open the .acsm file in ADE, I get the message 'Error getting license. License server communication problem: E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKOWN:'
How do I solve this? I downloaded another book from Google play the same day and that downloaded fine after opening the .acsm file.
I'm using Windows 7.
I contacted Google regarding this, but they directed me here. Any help appreciated.

I would think that it shouldn't matter if the ADE is 2.0 or 3.0.

Server Communication Problem

I have my first development multifolio magazine app in the Newsstand. On first launch of the app (using the installed .ipa in the sandbox environment), the library updates and the first issue appears correctly. Tapping on it and choosing subscribe, or alternatively, tapping on the Subscribe banner, allows me to use my test user which I set up in iTunes Connect. It asks the pertinent questions, which I allow, but at the end I get the following error:
Server Communication Problem - Your subscription was successfully purchased. Unfortunately we encountered an error while determining which issues are available for download. Your subscription will be applied the next time the library successfully updates.
I have a Free subscription set up for this app. There are no retail subscriptions. I can download the issue successfully without subscribing but I'm trying to nail down this subscription issue.
I'm not sure what to look at to begin to solve this issue.
The app is also currently in review and was kicked back today by Apple for having en empty storefront, which, from the screenshot they sent me, did not pull in the first issue, but showed "Purchasing Subscription..." at the top of the screen. I can only assume the problems are related.
I've rebuilt my app in the DPS App Builder, uploaded to my iPad, and still have the same issue. All of my certificates seem valid.
Anyone have any experience with solving this one?

As an additional thought. I had intended for this app to have only a free subscription for the first year and did not set up the retail banking contracts, only the free contract in iTunes Connect. Therefore, there was never a link to a shared secret. My reading in the forums with this error previously applied to paid subs or free subs using the shared secret. I know I didn't so I'm thinking this may be my problem. I've processed the banking/tax contract with iTunes and when complete my thinking is to fold this into the app.
Am I on the right track?

Communication problem between NetBeans and Tomcat

hi!
i got a quite mysterious problem. here is what happens:
- i start NetBeans 5.5.1 (the first time)
- i want to debug my JSF-Project, the Debugger starts
- After a few seconds the debugger waits for tomcat (it sais: "Waiting for Tomcat...") and tomcat starts
- Again after a few seconds the tomcat-debugger-output sais "Tomcat startet in 3333 ms".
okay.
when i enter http://localhost:8084/ in my browser i get the tomcat homepage, so the server has definitely started! But nothing happens in NetBeans and nothing happens with my project....
In the lower-right corner i see this blue working-bar that sais "deploying project" but nothing happens. The Project-Debugger-Output still sais "Waiting for Tomcat..." but nothing happens...
And after something around 3 minutes (i guess it's a timeout) i get the error "Starting of Tomcat failed." But is HAS started, i can login to the Administration-Area in my browser!
so i guess there is a communication problem between netbeans an tomcat. Netbeans waits for a message from tomcat but tomcat doesn't send it..or netbeans doesn't understand it.
But the story goes on:
When i press the debug-button a second time it takes only a few seconds till i get the message: "Tomcat server port 8084 already in use". OF COURSE! Because Tomcat has already startet and can't be stoped by NetBeans.
i'm trying to solve this problem for 4 days now, so i would be very happy if anyone has an idea where to start/continue the search...

As i wrote before, the same problem occured for me. I have found a solution which is : Go to tools menu and then select options . In the proxy info, select No Proxy.

Communication Problem with the second battery

In Lenovo Solution Center it says that there is communiction problem with the second battery. I already had this problem some months ago, back then it didn't charge the second battery. I got a new one and it worked again. Now it says the same thing "communication problem", but i can charge the battery and I also can't find any other sign of something not working. But still- it seems weird that the program tells me something is wrong. Can somebody help me?

Communication problem with proxy server

We have establish the configuration of an iPad to access the enterprise net, but when trying to access any webpage we get the next message: Safari can not open the page. Error:"There is a communication problem with proxy web server (HTTP)"
The access has no problems with other movile devices.

I am not sure whether you have already solved the problem or not....
Do the following to deploy MobileBIService.war file on tomcat
1.Stop Tomcat Web application server.
2.Copy the file, MobileBIService.war from [Install directory]\Mobile 14\Client to the Tomcat's "Webapps" directory.
In my case, I copied the MobileBIService.war from C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Mobile14\Client to C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Tomcat6\webapps. ( I used BO 4.0 SP02)
3. Start Tomcat.
Restarting Tomcat would automatically deploy war file as a Web App
One folder u201CMobileBiServiceu201D will appear in webapps folder when MobileBIService.war is deployed successfully.

When a user tries to access his timesheet he get the below error:

Only ONE user is getting this error. If everyone get\s the same we can check on the ITS side, but if only ONE user is getting it.

I have the same problem here, i have two PC's both running Windows 7 but only one works printing and scanning wirelessly.
On the PC running Windows 7 32bit wireless printing and scanning works great.
On the PC running windows 7 64bit only wireless printing works. Havent found a solution, but just a work around. Here it is......
1. Got to you printer and hit the Wireless button to find the IP address your router gave it.
2. Open up your Internet browser and input the IP address.
and...BAM!!! if it worked it should take you to the Deskjet 3050 All-in-One J610a Embedded Web Server page and from there you can scan with what looks like all the original options if the thing was working to begin with and save to your PC.

Communication problems? I think so.
