It is that time of the month again. What are your predictions for July PS+? I know we wont be getting the plus store update until the 8th July. Due to the US store update falling on the 30th. She said that in the system my husband took an upgrade July 29th 2013. He didn't even have a Verizon phone, he had a work phone with T-mobile. I have asked what device he supposedly upgraded to since no phones have been activated and we all still have our same phones and numbers. Remember at the time, said husband had a work phone with T-mobile. I still have the very same phone as do all of the rest of my family members. No one has upgraded. I spoke with "customer service" for more than a half an hour today, Char promised me that her supervisor (Emily) would call me back by 7:30 tonight to clear up this problem. Well guess what? No call back so where should I go from here? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers with Windows 2003 forest functional level Supported after Windows 2003 support ends in July 2015

Anyone knows whether Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers with Windows 2003 forest functional level will still be Supported after Windows 2003 support ends in July 2015 ?

When Windows Server 2003 support ends, you should not have a Windows Server 2003 Domain Controller running if you would like to be supported by Microsoft. This means that there will be no reason to have a DFL or FFL that is lower than Windows Server 2008.
So, if you are keeping Windows Server 2003 FFL to keep DCs running Windows Server 2003 then this is not supported.

Now that I've graduated am I still entitled to student discount, even though my student card is valid until July 2015

I've graduated from uni and am looking to buy Dreamweaver. My student card is valid until July 2015, so am I still entitled to student discount?

We’ve been busy in the background working hard on several projects, you’ll see quite a few things happen in the next months. The one thing we thought we needed to do first was say Thank You.
So, welcome to the O2 Community Rewards! From the 1st August 2013, you can get a thank you token for participating in the community. Every month.
Here is how it works: each month, your activity in the forum will earn you rewards points. Points are calculated by using a super secret algorithm that has been devised by monitoring members’ behaviour over the past months. Once you reach a certain amount of points, you will qualify for a reward. We have 4 different levels of rewards – Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Every month points will reset and you will be able to try to qualify for another reward.
Rewards will vary from month to month – watch out every month for an announcement.
What do you need to do to join the programme? Absolutely nothing. All registered members are automatically entered. The more you participate in the community, the more points you will earn increasing your chances to qualify for a reward.

W2k3 End of Support 14 July 2015 + Terminal Server

We use W2k3 for new installation projects with Terminal Server Licencing. We activate now our Termainal Server Licencing on https://activate.microsoft.com. After that we install CALs licenses per users and use this PC for our old applications.
As Microsoft will support activation our servers licencing after 14 July 2015 when W2k3 is out of support?

If it is already activated then it will remain activated. If you are asking if you will need to do extra activation in the future after that the OS gets out support then you might to check with a Microsoft Activation Center in your country.

Smallest device for offline spotify? (July 2015)

I have seen several threads on this - but all were pretty old. So, what is currently - July 2015 - the smallest, lightest device that can store and play my spotify music when I am offline?(and that can sync my playlists when I am back in WiFi): I don´t like to carry my phone with me when I go jogging... If I am not mistaken, the spotify app for android wear still requires the phone connection (rather than storing music on the small device itself)https://www.wareable.com/smartwatches/spotify-app-for-android-wear-released-1303

So I spent some time browsing the forum and this is not just a Yamaha issue but also happens on DENON and ONKYO and PIONEER as well. Same issue as mine where people have droids or apple devices that work to control their AVR using the AVR apple or droid app but the AVR itself will not show up on the Spotify list as an available device to connect to.
Random "fixes" like durning DHCP on/off, power cycling equipment, monkeying about with firewall settings, using "test" accounts with Spotify, etc in order to fix this.
Something seems seriously flawed with the protocols/design of SPOTIFY CONNECT that are integrated into the modern AVR's.
My Yamaha RX-V677 was $599. The DENON ONKYO and PIONEER lines that have some of the more cool features like HTC CONNECT, Airplay, WiFi, MHL support, 4k pass thru, etc are all simliar in price of this 600 to 1200 range.
So my $600 Yamaha, where EVERYTHING on it works beautifully, but Spotify connect does not is ridiculous. I am on Day 1 of the 30 day "Premium" trial and had the Spotify Connect worked from the get go I would have zero reservations about becoming a full time Spotify Member and happily auto pay the monthly fee (mainly because of the black metal and death metal stations).
So... If anyone has an actaul FIX for this, that at this point is no specific to YAMAHA since I have read of other brands having same problems, please speak up.
It does not help that support simply sends me links to generic t-shooting and canned responses. Clearly, there is a SPOTIFY CONNECT problem with modern AVR's... I have no problems with the app itself on my samsung tablet or my htc one phone, and i have zero problems controlling my avr from either device.
The main issue, common to all problems, is the actaul spotify connect feature and setting the AVR into SPOTIFY mode that is fubar. Really lame, IMO...........

Garden Club - July 2015

1st place!

Welcome, Garden Clubbers! Time flies. I cant believe we are already starting the second half of the year. Its a time of vacations for a lot of us now that the kids are out of school and of course a great celebration will occur on the 4th. I wish you all a fantastic safe and happy summer!
What is gardening? Quite simply, it involves refraining from applying for new credit or seeking CLIs that require hard pulls. Soft pulls CLIs, however, are not only acceptable, but are encouraged. The idea is to allow one's current TLs to grow and mature, waiting for inq's to age or fall off, and possibly waiting for "baddies" to be removed or age off. During this time, one tends to one's current accounts and watches their AAoA grow and the new credit ding fade. Here we socialize, commiserate and support each other while waiting for baddies to fall off, new accounts and/or inq's age or just want a place to hang out to get away from the hustle and bustle of credit card talk.
So, if you're at the stage of your credit journey where you're ready to enter the garden, please come and join us. You may pick up your complimentary watering can and garden gloves by the front door -- you can even choose your favorite color! We're proud to offer a well appointed clubhouse. There is a snack table set up. Help yourself to our drinks and appetizers. Flat-breads, sliders, pizza, buffalo wings, grilled zucchini, kale salads, pecan and apple pie Ala mode. There's also a nice selection of cold beers. Once again, please feel free to bring anything you'd like to add to the festivities. And, in the corner diagonally across from the front door, there is a fully stocked bar, along with a wide selection of soft drinks. If needed, there are some anti-itch medications stocked in our supply cabinet near the door -- Lanacaine, Benadryl, etc. If you need to place your reports in the deep freeze, we also have a freezer, located next to the bar, so go ahead and throw your reports in!
Our club features a Friday night social. This will now be hosted by Yes-Its-Me who has recently assumed the role from Irish80 who had done a wonderful job with managing the buffet and bar. Everyone is welcome to hang out and either discuss the topic of choice or anything else that comes to mind. Feel free to kick up your heels for the evening! The goal of the Friday night social is to enjoy getting to know each other and share in some fun. You'll always find camaraderie available here as you work towards your gardening goals. Thanks to Irish80 and myjourney both for contributing to this in the past.
So come on in and make yourself comfortable. Make a gardening plan and commit to sticking with it! Are you planning to wait six months before applying for additional credit? A year? Until the last of your baddies drop off? Whatever your goal, we're here to support you. If you feel the "app-itch" coming on, let us know and we'll try to help you through it. We even have and Emergency Response Team (ERT) available to step in and help keep you on track!
Now, if you happen to leave the garden prematurely, that's your decision and we respect that. You are always welcome to come back, pick up your gardening tools and start over again. But please, celebrate any approvals and the discussion of which credit card to app for on another thread. While we are happy with members’ success stories, we really do want to keep this threads focus and tone to be consistent with gardening efforts. You are certainly welcome to celebrate soft CLIs on this thread, though, as they do not involve inq's or apps for new credit. GARDEN CLUB CHALLENGE AND RECOGNITIONS:
Garden Club Challenge: Pick a firm date for staying in the garden and post it in your siggy!
Garden Club recognition levels: To qualify, your reports must contain:
No new tradelines of any type on one's accounts (this includes any backdated account, as they are STILL new "seedlings").
No HPs for anything that would allow for the possibility of a new tradeline being issued or increasing the CL of an existing tradeline.
*The Garden Club community recognizes that certain inquiries are necessary for factors beyond those listed above. Therefore, Hard Pulls/Inquiries for the following bona fide reasons are exempt but not limited to: Opening checking/savings accounts (so long as no line of credit is being opened in addition to these accounts), Employment Applications, Apartment Rentals, Utilities and other such services. These are not considered to be applications for credit per se. Also, for those who are seeking a new mortgage or refinancing an existing one, we understand that your lender will pull your CRs multiple times before closing. For those GC'ers, the first hp will set your clock, not the subsequent pulls. However, if you are simply rate shopping, then the normal hp rules apply.

1 month - bronze spade
3 months - silver spade
6 months - gold spade
9 months - palladium spade
12 months - platinum spade

Staying Safe with BT
We held a live-chat session with our experts looking at staying safe online for families, but we want you to stay safe and happy no matter what service you have with BT. For example, always remember you can verify any caller with us who claims to be calling from BT, they should have sufficient information about you so that you don't have to give anything away. If in doubt take a number and call them back. BT will never ask you for your bank details over the phone, if we have a problem with any payment we will write to you first.
