Community:: somtimes it works fine and sometimes it shows error.
User is being given read access to a community but still it shows the error message ::The page does not exist or user does not have access to it::
What exactly is happening is that for sometime it shows the community page and after a while it again starts showing error message and this cycle gets repeated ever since.
I am unable to figure out what could be the possible cause of this unusual problem.
Same thing is with Select rights.
We tried to regenerate the error for other users but didnt happen.

The trascription doesn't take place on your phone. The audio file is processed a little on the phone and then sent to Apple's servers for the bulk of the work, and the resulting text is sent back to your phone.
Sometimes there might be problems connecting to the internet to send the file. Sometimes there might be problems with Apple's servers in a specific region. In my case if I go outside my house a bit my phone will still be trying to connect to the wifi (there is just a little bit of a signal). There isn't enough wifi to handle sending the audio files to Apple, but enough that the phone keeps trying to use it.
Things that sometimes help. Turn off wifi if it is weak. Put your phone into airplane mode for a few seconds and then turn the radio back on.
If the problem is at Apple's end. Just wait a while.

b if imovie keeps crashing and i trash imovie folder will i lose my work ? - oh i suppose they have backed it up now so i could do this if it crashes again - how do i get imovies back ? do i have to load the ilife disc again
somebody else i know has had the same problem with idvd crashing - is this a common fault ?
anyway - im just waiting for disc to render and will see what happens - its taking 1 hour !!

time capsule first said the back up was delayed, now it won't connect to my home network. my internet is working fine and so is everything else but when i try to connect to the time capsule it says to check my server and ip address and if it continues to contact system administrator.. i didnt change anything, please help!
Lion networking.. just need to reboot everything.. modem TC and the clients.. then it will work.. Sometimes just the TC is enough.. sometimes just the computer. .. Vista golden networking award.. did you turn it off and on again??

Time Capsule error 22 - My time capsule was working fine and didn't notice anything wrong with it until it stopped backing up about two weeks ago. I never changed anything like computer names or the Airport settings. All I get is the following:
The backup disk image "/Volumes/Data/Linda's Computer 1.sparsebundle" could not be created (error 22).
I tried resetting the Time Capsule and connecting with an ethernet cable, although the Ariport Utility says everything is working fine through WiFi.If the light will not turn on the TC is dead. No matter that the hard disk is running.. it should only run at start up or when it is accessed not constantly.. that means the board in the TC has failed. Apple do not repair them.. They will replace it under warranty or applecare.
If you have gone over the 12month warranty it will still be covered if you have applecare on any computer or an Apple TV. In fact the cost of the apple TV plus apple care is still cheaper than buying a new TC.. so it is a route some people are taking.. certainly depends.. in some places like Europe or Australia now, there is a recognition that statutory warranty must be longer on a product that is premium to the market. 12months is not good enough. Apple will sometimes listen.
They might be fixable but I do not know how. -
Windows 7 worked fine and now won't boot/start anymore?
My little brother just bought a used 24" iMac (early 2008) at the beginning of this year.
He installed a Boot Camp and Windows 7 for gaming.
Everything worked fine and he played with iMac earlier today, but now he phoned me that Windows won't start anymore. He gets a black screen with blinking line after booting to Windows partition. He said that the black screen used to flash everytime windows started, but now he's stuck to that black screen. He tried to repair windows with the installation DVD, but there was only options to restore system from backup image file or drive, which (of course) my brother hadn't made.
Is there any way to fix this problem or does he have to install Windows again?Get a book. Spend more time researching. Make sure not to install x-ware or anything that isn't needed and compatible. You should invest in backups, and use restore check points.
Try getting chkdsk to also look for bad sectors.
And uninstall whatever was last installed. And one plus for Windows, you can rollback a driver too.
Could happen if they ran too low on free disk space. Windows 7 SP1 is due out, and that will need 9GB of free space to install and update (you get some back but good idea to have the extra space).
Clean out all the temp files that can clog a drive, I use CCleaner daily and sometimes there is 500MB to dump.

safari 5.1 not loading MOST of the times. like 1 in 100 attempts it works fine, and that too, as long as you work in same window. and what's the webkit2webprocess.exe file?
the webkit2webprocess.exe has something to do with the sound. Safari works fine for me, except for the occasional time when the webkit2webprocess.exe crashes. Sometimes it crashes Safari altogether but sometimes it just reloads all the tabs I have opened. Either way, it's a huge pain. I hope they fix it with an update soon.

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer:

I installed LION on my mac pro 2008 and it's alway's pop with " there was a problem connecting to the server " Time Capsule" .How can i remove this popup. My Time machine is working fine and also rename it with less than 7 karakters. But the popup keeps on coming with the old name.
I have a BT Infinity router plugged into the Time Capsule, not sure where the radio settings are?
They are able to use the network settings of the TC i.e. they can connect to the internet via the wifi through the TC but when they try and connect to the AirPort Disk this is where it is not allowing a connection.
I don;t have the drive shared out at all at the moment, is this necessary? How do I do this if so?

iTunes is updated and works fine and I am able to log onto my account. When I go to purchase a song, I get the error message "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I've tried different methods: changing passwords, making a new account with another email address, and emailing itunes tech support. I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing the same issue. When I googled the error, it seemed like it was happening extremely often with many people.

I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. ...and so everything was working fine and dandy untill I ran into this small problem. My significangt other and I had a falling out and are no longer speaking to one another. He has a little bit different way of thinking than I do and was very controlling throughout our relationship. My iphone stopped working the other day and I found out that it apparently had been reported stolen. I was dumbfounded and I knew there had been a mistake but after i was given the instructions of what needed to be done to clear this up, this is where the problems began. I needed to get back into my device and was asked for my icloud account information. I wasnt real sure what it would be seeing as though i wasnt aware that i had one. i knew i had an email and of course i knew the password however that did not seem to work. i believe that what has happened is all kind of part of his controlling ways and that when he activated my phone for me he used all of his own information in case of a situation like this. He knows how badly he is getting to me right now with this and he knows i am unable to use my phone. he must have also been the one who reported it stolen knowing that he is also the one who knows how to reactivate it when it asks for what information it needs to do that. So for the moment, i am completely locked out of my own phone and can do nothing. i am livid with this whole thing and am getting more and more frustrated as i try to get this resolved. i need some help as to how i can start from scratch like it was when i brought it home from the store except this time i will do it all myself and put in my own personal information, no one elses so i NEVER run into anything similiar to this again. what do i do?
Sorry, without knowing the Apple ID/Password that was originally used to activate this phone, then there is no way to re-activate it, as you've found out.
Apple can't/won't help you. Your choice is to get this info, or you simply won't be able to re-activate this phone.

I have a pc running windows 7. I got an Airport Extreme 802.11n Wi-Fi and the printer is now plugged into the Airport. The Airport works fine but the printer shows as offline in control panel and in word. The printer is a HP LaserJet CP1525nw.
+For now I have it set to Share Public IP address - Is this correct for my Network Setup with The Airport Extreme being the only router being used ?+
This would be the correct setting if the AirPort Extreme is connected to a simple modem (one ethernet port).

When you buy an iPhone in the U.S. it's locked to that country with the carrier you bought it for.
If you bought the device unlocked in the U.S. it's unlocked, you can use it on any carrier. Even one's outside the country.
If you want to do a repair on a device you bought in the U.S. and your using it in another country, you must send it back to the U.S. Why? That's where you bought it from.
AppleCare Protection Plans and AppleCare Limited Warranties are registered to your hardware.
Your hardware is your iPhone.
Wherever hardware that was bought then that's the country it was designed to be used in and that's where it was manufactured.
Apple is very localized - if you call U.S. tech support, you'll speak to somone in your country.
So, what does all this mean?
In order to do a repair, you need to send it back to the country you got it from.
And we're all customers like you. We understand that you're upset, but Apple isn't gonna bend the rules to one individual.

I am using iphone 3gs since last 4 days. Till yesterday night it was working fine and i have connected this phone for charging . Morning there was apple logo in the screen and every 1mte (approx) it is blinking. I could not restart the phone.Plz help . Sounds like you have corrupt backup data, if this occurs from one phone to another. Try restoring the phone as a new device, without a backup. Try using for a day before installing any other apps, etc. See if that improves the battery life. Then try syncing back applications a couple at a time. Something seems to be locking in the processor which is draining the battery.
Do you live in an area where there are Apple Stores? If so, try making an appointment with the Genius Bar to have the device checked out.
