I have noticed an issue with utilizing the "stream" function on iOS 7. If you choose to just stream the movie by hitting the play button it seems to actually start downloading (which is fine) but if you are say halfway thru the movie and stop you can clea

I have noticed an issue with utilizing the “stream” function on iOS 7. If you choose to just stream the movie by hitting the play button it seems to actually start downloading (which is fine) but if you are say halfway thru the movie and stop you can clearly see that storage has been reduced under the usage, yet under the “videos” tab it still states “No Data” the only way to delete what you have partially downloaded is to fully download the video, which is fine but there is no way to tell what videos have been partially downloaded (I.e which occurs a lot when your child switches between movies using the so called “stream” function). This becomes troublesome once the capacity of the ipad is almost met and you have no way to delete this data since you may have several videos that have started to be viewed (hence partially downloaded). Apple needs to somehow make it truly streaming or provide an update so the storage can be managed. The only way I have been able to remove partially downloaded videos is by doing a total software restore. (The video data that is in question when connected to my MacBook shows up in iTunes as “other”) if you have any insight into this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

IMO opendns is either doing this on purpose (unlikely) or they're under some sort of attack/being used to attack the specific torrent sites although I'm open to other explanations. I believe using the automatic setting for DNS is using my own ISP's DNS servers (which again, work fine... but still...)
I'd rather not use Google's public DNS servers as Google is to commercial these days and I think there's potential privacy issues.

As you have been advised in many of your posts, go study the documentation for whichever specific topic you are interested in.
For me to answer your questions, I would need to go get that documentation.
Then I would need to read that documentation.
Then I would need to write a forum post that interprets what I think I learned from that documentation.
It is so very much faster if YOU go do that instead of posting to a forum and expecting others to do it. You will remember what you study for a lot longer time if you teach yourself.

What actually are you trying to do? Where are you trying to copy it from? It is possible that the apps is not yet available for gen lower than iOS 5 like Find my Friends app.

I'll be watching a movie in iTunes, and the movie will freeze, but the movie timer will keep going. Any idea how to fix?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like there is a payback issue with one or more movies in iTunes on your Mac. If the movies weren't purchased from the iTunes Store, do you see the same issue with content downloaded from the iTunes Store? The article below provides some suggestions that will rule out conflicts caused by plug-ins that you might be using with iTunes.

Your device is stolen. Sorry, it's likely gone. and your warranty is for manufacturer's defects to something you no longer own. You could always contact Apple and see if they'd refund the money, however I think that's doubtful. Your device is gone and the warranty with it.
If you're thinking that your warranty will cover theft and Apple will provide you with another device, no. Won't happen. The warranty is for them making a mistake in making the device, producing a defective one. It's not for them to safeguard your possession of the device.

Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.

back up the device in icloud and restore it back to factory settings after doing so setup as new and see if the issue is still there. If it's not merge your icloud info back into your device by just loging in with your apple id after the the setup is complete.

I don't know that there is a "better" place to post this question since you seem to be wide open to possibilities. I think an iMac would be a good choice. It already is a CD/DVD player & you can access internet radio through iTunes. For over-the-air (OTA) radio you could get the Griffin Radio Shark. For OTA TV, Elgato gets high praise. Formac also has some options, but they tend to be more expensive.

I am leaving for Japan on business and I have no service since the upgrad, what are you doing to fix this problem Apple.

HHave you tried resetting your network settings? Worked for me. Settings> general> reset> reset network settings
