Can anyone tell me (or show me some example) how to update java.sql.Clob using javax.persistence.EntityManager.
When Im trying to update column (with type Clob) value is not inserting, after update column is empty. I havent any error during update, Im using database Oracle 10g.

Post some code so we can see how you are doing it. If you are using JPA entities take a look at the @Lob annotation.

After installing "Java for OS X 2013-004" update, Java apps don't work anymore as expected.
Windows of Swing apps don't display all GUI elements.
After replacing System/Library/Java from a Time MAchine Backup, everything works normal again.
Is this update corrupted?

The stand-alone Java Swing applications, that don't display their GUI elements after installing this update, have been written according to modern standards. With Oracle Java7, and with Java6 from Apple prior to this update, they run absolutely flawlessly.
This is absolutely Apple's fault.

The only way you can upgrade Safari is to upgrade your operating system. The current version of Safari is 8.0.4 which requires Yosemite. If you want to consider upgrading, check that your computer is compatible with Mountain Lion/Mavericks/Yosemite.
To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.
iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) model number 7,1 or higher
Your Mac needs:
OS X v10.6.8 or OS X Lion already installed
2 GB or more of memory (More is better - 4 GB minimum seems to be the consensus)
8 GB or more of available space
Check to make sure your applications are compatible. PowerPC applications are no longer supported after 10.6.

Do a backup before installing.

I wonder if it is compulsory to use the version Sun JSDK 1.4.2_07 on the server xMII 11.5 or we can update the JAVA after installation of XMII 11.5 to a latest version of Java?
We would have problems with support in SAP?

For version 11.5 you can use any 1.4.2_x. The newer the better. You can change it after the install, but it's easier to change it first. There's a note on how to update java when xMII is already installed.
